02:14 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road was burgled; the suspects gained entry by making a small hole in the window on the commercial road side. Three boxes where lying on the floor. PG glass stood down and fixed the hole in the window.

23 AUGUST 2017 WEDNESDAY
01:06 KORSTEN. A business in Nielson Street was burgled; the suspects kicked in the top door on the right hand side. Suspects also kicked in the inter-leading door to the shop open. The owner can see a kettle, microwave and a scale missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
03:25 NORTH END. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue was burgled; the suspects broke the front security gate and made a hole in the window. The owner can see some cash missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and opened a case with the owner.
07:19 LORRAINE. A business in Besancon Road was burgled; the suspects broke the front hand side window and gained entry. The owner can see sweets missing at this stage. The owner confirmed that he has CCTV footage, a white Nissan 1400 bakkie was seen on the scene. SAPS stood down and he opened a case.
08:11 WALMER. A residence in Ninth Avenue was burgled; the suspects broke the window on the side door and gained entry. The owner can see a kettle, meat and other products out of the fridge missing. The alarm was not armed. SAPS stood down.
17:25 KRAGGA KAMMA. A residence in Gayle Street reported a medical emergency; the owners’ father is 84 years of age and was not breathing. Gardmed stood down and declared the patient deceased of natural causes.
18:10 CENTRAL. A residence in Upperhill Street was burgled; the suspects entered by kicking the inter-leading door that leads into the garage. Suspects took a bag of stuff and a heater. Response caught the one suspect and arrested him. The owner is not sure what all is missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and arrested the suspects and the owner opened a case.
23:34 ALGOA PARK. A residence in Jacaranda Crescent reported a trespassing incident; the owner confirmed that there was a suspect in his yard hiding under a tree. Response caught the suspect and arrested him. SAPS stood down.

22 AUGUST 2017 TUESDAY
01:25 SYDENHAM. A business in Pogson Street was burgled; the suspects cut the electric fence and climbed over the fence to enter the yard. The suspects then went to the electrical office work stations and broke the window and kicked in the burglar bars. The owner can see two servers, two 23” monitors, one industrial computer and a network tester missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened case.
04:17 NORTH END. A business in Dobson Street was burgled; the suspects broke the office window and used a grinder to cut the burglar bars and gained entry. The owner can see a computer screen and a docking station missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
04:18 GREENBUSHES. A residence in Seaview Road reported a medical emergency; a 7 year old boy has Meningitis and was having trouble breathing. Response reported that the boy was stable but his pulse was very weak. Gardmed stood down and transported the boy to hospital.
05:58 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admirality Way reported a medical emergency; one of the residents; 80 years of age had dislocated her shoulder. Gardmed stood down and transported her to hospital.
06:52 HUMEWOOD EXTENSION. A residence in Woodhead Drive reported a medical emergency; one of the residents, 93 years of age and was not feeling well. Gardmed stood down and transported him to hospital to do a check up.
14:02 WALMER. A business in Heugh Road reported a medical emergency; two male suspects entered the shop. The owner reported that her cell-phone was on the table in the shop. When the two male suspects left the shop she noticed that her cell-phone was gone.
16:41 GREENBUSHES. A business in Old Cape Road was burgled; the suspects broke the back kitchen window and entered the premises. The owner can see a kettle missing at this stage. Response reported that there are visible bloody finger prints. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.

21 AUGUST 2017 MONDAY
00:36 SOUTH END. A business in Walmer Boulevard reported an assault incident; a lady and a gentleman were sleeping in a vehicle behind a sports club. A group of suspects approached them; the man was hit over the head with a firearm. The two occupants managed to get away and went and parked at the petrol station. SAPS stood down.
01:09 LOVEMORE PARK. A residence in Hilltop Drive reported a medical emergency; the owner is 72 years of age and a diabetic. The owner also and has a history of heart problems. Gardmed stood down and attended to the owner and transported him hospital for further observation.
02:14 SIDWELL. A business in Haupt Street was burgled; the suspects jumped over the barbwire gate and got into the driveway. The suspects forced the security gate open and kicked in the front door. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. The owner said he will let the staff to stock take. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
03:24 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road was burgled; the suspects broke a window at the sliding door and entered the premises. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage and will check later in the morning
07:57 COTSWOLD. A business in Cape Road was burgled; the suspects cut the power to the premises and kicked in the back door. Suspects broke the safe and confirmed that a large sum of cash was taken out of the safe. The suspects also stole a lot of medication.
07:52 MANGOLD PARK. A residence in Audrey Street was burgled; the suspects entered at the back bedroom by breaking the window and bending the burglar bars. Suspects ransacked the house. Keyholder can only see the one plasma TV missing at this stage. Keyholder is not sure if anything else is missing as the owner is away. SAPS stood down and the keyholder opened a case.
10:03 DESPATCH. A residence in Daniel Street was burgled; the suspects forced the spare bedroom window open on the left hand side and kicked in the burglar bars. The owner confirmed that he cannot see anything missing at this stage and will need to check later on with his wife. SAPS stood down.
11:49 NORTH END. A business in De Villiers Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects made a hole in one of the windows on the first floor. Suspects tried to break into the premise next door which was a non atlas subscriber. SAPS stood down. No entry was gained into the premises. No loss.
18:51 THEESECOMBE. A residence in Sonop Street was burgled; the owner cannot see any entry point at this stage. The owner saw that her two safes had been tampered with. The suspects got into the safe with all her jewellery in it. The owner said she had builders on site that had a spare key. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.

00:32 DESPATCH. A business in Handel Street reported an attempted burglary; the owner confirmed that two male suspects tried to open the doors.Client watched the suspects on the cameras.When the response arrived the suspects ran away.Client showed the response the footage.No force marks on the doors.
01:52 SIDWELL. A business in Hart Street was burgled; the suspects entered through the top floor office roof. They then made two holes in the roof. Suspects ransacked the entire office. The owner cannot say what is missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
04:29 WALMER. A residence in Eleventh Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the suspects forced the back kitchen door and tried to force open the security gate. The suspects also forced the back flat door and window open. No entry was gained into the house or the flat.
04:51 DEAL PARTY. A business in Old Grahamstown Road was burgled; the suspects made a hole in the roof and entered in the passage. The suspects went into the office. The owner can see three computer screens and a plasma missing at this stage. The plasma was found in the passage. SAPS stood down.
07:07 NORTH END. A business in York Road was burgled; on the left hand side of the front door, the suspects broke the window and cut the burglar bars. The owner can see computers missing at this stage. The owner secured the window best possible. The dog unit stood down.
08:43 SIDWELL. A business in Wilson Street was burgled; the suspects forced the right hand side window open next to the front door and forced open the burglar bars. The owner can see two laptops missing at this stage. PG glass stood down and replaced the window. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
10:06 NEWTON PARK. A residence in First Avenue was burgled; the suspects broke the lock on the security gate and kicked in the back door. The suspects went through all the bedrooms. The owner confirmed that there could be jewellery missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
10:53 CHARLO. A residence in Godfrey Avenue was burgled; the suspects entered the yard and went to the left hand side of the premises. The owner left the bathroom window open; suspects removed the burglar bars and entered the premises. Suspects got disturbed. No loss to the premises.
13:01 DEAL PARTY. A business in Darby Road reported a positive theft incident; suspects entered the yard and went straight to the trucks on site. They removed the bumpers, ripped all the wiring of the trucks and removed the lights of the trucks.
13:13 UITENHAGE. A business in Graaff Reinet Road was burgled; the suspects broke the window at the back of the premises. They then went to the till area and took the draw out of one of the tills. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
13:27 UITENHAGE. A residence in Donges Street reported a positive theft incident; the entertainment door and gate were standing open. The suspects walked in and took two DVD players, a laptop, pellet gun and a ps2 with remotes. They also stole a swimsuit and alcohol. Response recovered the laptop, pellet gun, swimsuit and the two DVD players. They also found some of the alcohol. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
13:41 CHARLO. A residence in Benno Road was burgled; the suspects tried to force the back door open but did not succeed. They then proceeded to the second bedroom and broke the window. The suspects went through the whole house, the owner cannot see what is missing at this stage. SAPS stood down.
17:20 STRUANDALE. A business in Kwaford Street was burgled; the suspects made a hole in the side of the building and entered the premises. The owner can see a jack missing at this stage; the owner is not sure what else is missing.
19:24 UITENHAGE. A business in Market Street reported a positive theft incident; response confirmed that on arrival he found a braai stand and a galvanised gate rail lying outside of the forecourt side. Response reported he saw three suspects running towards the taxi rank. The owner can see white PVC piping missing at this stage. Response recovered the goods. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
20:28 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road was burgled; the suspects entered through the roof in the office area. Suspects stole a tool box and server. Suspects also went into the warehouse and broke one of the owners work bakkie window. They managed to steal the radio out of the bakkie.
23:57 ALGOA PARK. A business in Dyke Road reported a positive theft incident; the owner confirmed a Mazda with registration number HYD 698 EC requested R150 petrol and after they put the petrol in he refused to pay. SAPS stood down and took the man to the police station.
23:37 SCHOENMAKERSKOP. A residence in Marine Drive reported a house robbery; the owner was watching TV and looked for her cell-phone. She went and opened the back sliding door leading to the patio as her phone was there. As the owner came back into the premises she was over powered by two male suspects. The suspects forced her onto the floor and demanded money from her and demanded to know where the safe is. The owner escaped and ran to the neighbours. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.

19 AUGUST 2017 SATURDAY
00:01 GREENBUSHES. A business in Old Cape Road was burgled; suspects gained entry into one of the offices. The owner can see a laptop missing at this stage. They then forced the roller shutter door open to exit.
00:05 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Crane Road reported a medical emergency; one of the residents was not feeling well. She was battling to breathe and her blood pressure was very high. The owners’ daughter was going to take her to hospital.
01:28 COTSWOLD. A business in Highfield Road reported an armed robbery; four suspects entered the site and one was armed. They told the security guard to not touch anything or say anything. They then stole his cell-phone, pushed him into a corner and stole two batteries from the forklifts. The suspects then told him to go back to where he is stationed and should he follow them they will shoot him.
03:57 NEWTON PARK. A business in Fourth Avenue was burgled; the suspects forced the right hand side office window open. The owner can see one computer tower missing at this stage. Response found a computer screen outside and a screwdriver. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
13:49 MILL PARK. A school in College Drive reported an attempted theft incident; the owner of a vehicle on site met up with the response officer. Suspects tried to break into the vehicle as the window was a little down. Nothing was reported missing.
14:01 MILL PARK. A residence in Thornhill stopped our armed response officer to alert him of a suspect. The suspect gained entry into a non atlas subscriber’s garage on the Corner of Cawood and Kent Street. Suspects took a box with a DVD player and a surround sound in. Response arrested the suspect. SAPS stood down and arrested the suspect.
14:45 CENTRAL. A business in Havelock Street reported an attempted theft incident; a suspect came into the shop and wanted to rob the owner. He gave the suspect R20 and the suspect then ran off. 14:21 MOUNT PLEASANT. A business in Mount Pleasant reported a medical emergency; one of the response officers was bitten by a dog while doing a response on his inner thigh. Gardmed stood down and treated him. The response officer was transported to hospital.
15:29 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Brighton Drive was burgled; the suspects entered the yard and went to the back. Suspects took a ladder and put it against the wall – they sat on the aircon and broke the main bedroom window. The safe was opened and a firearm was taken with cosmetic jewellery. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
16:01 SCHOENMAKERSKOP. A business in Victoria Drive was burgled; the suspects made a hole in the roof sheeting in the kitchen and the store room roof sheeting. The owner can see lights missing at this stage.
17:33 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admirality Way reported a medical emergency; one of the residents fell and hurt her knee. Gardmed stood down and attended to her. She did not want to go to hospital.
20:26 MIRAMAR. A residence in Stratford Close was burgled; the suspects broke the window and entered one of the bedrooms and ransacked it. The owner confirmed that it is her sister’s bedroom and cannot confirm what is missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and she opened a case.
20:42 LOVEMORE HEIGHTS. A residence in Welbedaght Estate was burgled; the suspects broke the living room sliding door window with no security gate. The owner can see a 42″ plasma TV missing at this stage. PG glass stood down and replaced the window.
21:10 DEAL PARTY. A business in Burman Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects tried to break through one of the slabs of the wall. When the suspects saw the guards on the inside the suspects ran away.
22:49 SIDWELL. A business in Sutton Road was burgled; the suspects broke through the roof and entered the premises. Suspects stole bags of metal. The owner is unsure of the amount of bags the suspects took.
23:26 WALMER. A business in Main Road reported an assault incident; the member of the public reported that he was robbed and beaten in front of the premises.

18 AUGUST 2017 FRIDAY
02:21 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Pheasant Road reported a medical emergency; one of the residents was not feeling well. He collapsed in the doorway. Gardmed stood down and transported him to hospital.
03:35 CENTRAL. A business in Western Road reported an armed robbery; a man came to buy airtime at the shop. The suspect returned later. The suspect then gun pointed the cashier with a 9mm pistol. Suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and 30 to 40 packets of cigarettes. No injuries on site. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
08:52 LINTON GRANGE. A business in Cape Road reported an armed robbery; four male suspects with red overalls entered the premises. All four suspects had firearms. They robbed the liquor store and took the safe with an undisclosed amount of money. Suspects fled in a white Quantam taxi registration number HBX 304 EC. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
09:38 WOODLANDS. A residence in Seine Road was burgled; the suspects broke open the security gate and kicked the front door in. The owner can see a 42″ plasma TV missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
16:19 WALMER. A residence in Fordyce Road reported a medical emergency; the owners’ wife was struggling to breathe and suffers from asthma. Gardmed stood down and transported her to hospital.
19:04 NEAVE TOWNSHIP. A business in Bennet Street reported a positive theft incident; the owner reported that the shift supervisor on site came out of the facilities and went into the office and noticed a laptop was missing. He is not sure if it was a staff member or someone from outside that stole the laptop as they cannot see any break in point.
20:29 WALMER. A residence in River Road was burgled; the suspects entered over the left hand side back wall. Suspects went to the back lounge window and removed it. The owner can see jewellery missing at this stage.
20:50 KWAZAKHELE. A business in Mbilini Road reported that suspects tried to get the safe open and rip the cables. SAPS stood down and arrested the two suspects.
22:44 SALISBURY PARK. A residence in Bobby Beis Street reported a medical emergency; the owners’ father is 72 years of age and suffered from cardiac arrest. Response performed CPR on the patient but he did not respond. Gardmed stood down and performed CPR as well. Gardmed declared the owners’ father deceased.

17 AUGUST 2017 THURSDAY03:33 YOUNG PARK. A school in Ditchling street was burgled; the care taker confirmed that the suspects entered in the courtyard section. Suspects broke the window that had no protection and went into the kitchen. The owner can see a microwave missing at this stage. SAPS stood down.

16 AUGUST 2017 WEDNESDAY01:03 MIRAMAR. A residence in Willmore Crescent was burgled; the suspects broke the small window on the right hand side and removed the burglar bars. The owner confirmed that he cannot see anything missing at this stage. PG glass stood down and replaced the window. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
01:13 HUNTERS RETREAT. A business in Old Cape Road was burgled; the suspects cut the roof sheeting open and entered into the ceiling. They ripped the alarm panel off of the wall. Suspects never managed to enter the rest of building. SAPS stood and owner opened a case.
02:29 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Elgar Close was burgled; the suspects entered through the bottom front window. The owner can see a laptop missing at this stage. PG glass stood down to repair the window. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
07:54 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admiralty Way reported a medical emergency; one of the residents fell but only requested that response help him up. He did not request to be taken to hospital.
09:19 MANGOLD PARK. A residence in Alan Drive called in to reported an armed robbery; the owner confirmed that the suspects gained entry through one of the back bedroom windows and forced the burglar bars open. The owners’ son was in the home and they threatened him with a gun and locked him in a room. The owner confirmed that her son obtained no injuries – and can see that his jewellery was stolen. SAPS and flying squad took over the scene.
10:46 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Prestwick Crescent was burgled; the suspects entered at the bush side where they cut two strands off the wire and crawled under the fence. They used a spade to force the wooden door open and the security gate. The owner can see a 32″ plasma TV missing at this stage.

15 AUGUST 2017 TUESDAY 06:19 SIDWELL. A business in Haupt Street was burgled; the suspects entered the left hand side of the premises. The suspects bent the fence and broke the first floor toilet window and kicked in the burglar bars. Entry was gained – the owner can see laptops and wire motors missing at this stage.
08:02 FRAMESBY. A residence in Atlanta Crescent was burgled; the suspects broke the garage door open and there is glass on the floor inside the garage. The owner confirmed that the suspects stole items out of her vehicle.
15:16 CHARLO. A business in Walter Road reported a medical emergency; a member of the public was hit by a driver. An ambulance service stood down and attended to the pedestrian.
17:12 SIDWELL. A business in Kempston Road reported an armed robbery; three male suspects – one was armed with a firearm robbed two staff member outside the premises. Two of his staff members were robbed, a handbag and a cell-phone was stolen. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
18:06 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Bognor Street reported a medical emergency; one of the residents suffers from a heart condition and was not feeling well. Gardmed stood down and transported him to hospital.

14 AUGUST 2017 MONDAY
00:55 MILL PARK. A residence in Mclean Road reported that their son caught suspects that were on the roof. The SAPS arrived and arrested the suspects.
06:54 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road reported a positive theft incident; the owner confirmed that the suspects entered the yard and broke a truck window. When he checked he saw that truck batteries had been stolen. Nothing else was reported missing on site. SAPS stood down and a case was opened.
07:39 SIDWELL. A business in Haupt Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects tried to enter the premises by cutting the roof sheeting. They did not gain access.
08:15 DEAL PARTY. A business in Murdoch Street reported a positive theft incident; the suspects came over the fence into the yard. They cut the fence and the owner confirmed that four batteries from the trucks were stolen. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
08:16 HUMEWOOD EXTENSION. A residence in Woodhead drive reported a medical emergency; one of the residents was not feeling well. Gardmed stood down and they advised that the owner had heart problems. He was transported to hospital.
14:10 SYDENHAM. A business in Sydenham Road reported that a suspect ran out of the shop and ran away. One of our sales staff and the security guard followed the suspects into Kempston road where they managed to apprehend him.
12:01 NORTH END. A business in Sebastian Street was burgled; the suspects forced the garage door open but nothing is missing from site.
10:38 DEAL PARTY. A business in Old Grahamstown Road was burgled; the suspects entered and walked through the passage. They entered one of the offices on site. The owner can see two laptops missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
13:35 NORTH END. A business in Mount Road reported an attempted theft incident; three suspects tried to steal clothes. All of them were armed – two were male and one female was involved. . The suspects were driving a white Toyota Avanza with registration number HXN432EC. They drove away and headed towards Greenacres.
15:35 WESTERING. A residence in Bouganvillia Drive reported an attempted burglary; the suspects bent the security gate open but could not get the front door open. No entry gained and no loss on site.
15:42 TAYBANK. A residence in Bathurst Street was burgled; the suspects cut the front security gate lock and kicked in the front door. Entry was gained into the premises. The owner can see a plasma TV missing from the lounge. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
17:16 SALT LAKE. A residence in Felcass Street reported a positive theft incident; the owner confirmed that someone stole her bulb fitting on the outside of her house. She did not require SAPS.
23:06 GREENBUSHES. A business in Mission Road was burgled; the suspects broke an electric box open on site. They ripped the cables out and stole copper. The suspects ran away as they saw response arriving. SAPS stood down.
19:51 COTSWOLD. A business in Woodpecker Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects removed the window on the right hand side of the front door but the burglar bars were still intact. No entry was gained and no loss to the premises. SAPS stood down.

13 AUGUST 2017 SUNDAY
03:43 NEWTON PARK. A business in Fourth Avenue was burgled; the suspects broke the back office window that had no burglar bars on. The owner confirmed that he cannot see anything missing at this stage. SAPS was on site and PG Glass replaced the window.
03:48 WALMER. A business in Ninth Avenue reported a trespassing incident; when response got to site he saw a suspect on the front porch. When the suspects saw the response officer he ran towards him. A shot was fired and the suspects continued to charge towards the officer. A second shot was fired and the suspect ran away. SAPS was notified and a case was opened.
07:17 WOODLANDS. A residence in Montangne Road was burgled; the suspects managed to get onto the roof via the water tank and removed the roof tiles. Suspects gained entry into the ceiling and ripped the alarm wires. The suspects managed to get into the main bedroom and ransacked the entire premises. The owner confirmed that passports, food, frozen meat, a plamsa TV, dvd player, surround sound system, liquor and jewellery is missing at this stage. The suspects then kicked the window and burglar bars in, in the study. SAPS were on site.
08:27 CENTRAL. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue was burgled; the suspects opened the top passage window and entry was gained. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.
12:55 FERNGLEN. A residence in Karisma Tas Avenue was burgled; the suspects forced the lounge window open and kicked the burglar bars in. The suspects ransacked the entire premises. The owner who is a non-atlas customer can see 2 plasmas TV’s, alcohol, jewellery, a tablet, electric items and food missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
14:14 CHELSEA. A residence in Old Seaview Road had an attempted burglary; the owner heard the dogs barking and saw someone attempted to gain entry into the lounge. Response chased after the suspects and caught him. SAPS took the suspects away. 14:50 MILL PARK. A residence in Linton Road reported a trespassing incident; the owner confirmed that she saw suspects jump her wall and they were in her yard. Response checked the premises and there was no forced entry on site.
14:59 MILL PARK. A residence in Walton Road was burgled; the suspects smashed the main bedroom window. The owners’ keyholder was not sure of what was missing at that stage. SAPS were on site. 16:57 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Maritz Street was burgled; the suspects entered via the roof at the front door on the left hand side. Suspects ripped the panel. This was not an Atlas customer- the owner could see 3 plasma TV’s and jewellery missing at this stage. 18:58 WALMER. A residence in Water Road was burgled; the suspects entered by the main bedroom window. Suspects forced the window open and kicked in the burglar bars. They took a plasma TV and a jewellery box. The suspects got disturbed and left the plasma and the jewellery box in the yard. SAPS stood down and owner opened a cased.23:05 CENTRAL. A school in Bird Street was burgled; the suspects entered by the front window and removed the burglar bars. The owner can see a projector missing at this stage.

12 AUGUST 2017 SATURDAY01:45 SIDWELL. A business in Hart Street reported an attempted burglary; response reported that they checked the premises and all the warehouses, on one of the warehouses they tried to break in. They broke the window but burglar bars was still intact. No other reasons found.
01:56 THEESECOMBE. A residence in Kragga Kamma Road reported an attempted burglary on site. the suspects broke the fence at the back and tried to force open the garage window. No entry was gained into the premises.

14:28 BOOYSENS PARK. A business in Donnely Street reported an armed robbery; the suspects broke through the gate which had a padlock on and gained entry to the shop. Unknown amount of suspects with firearms forced everyone to lay face down on the floor and robbed the customers of all their belongings such as wallets and cell-phones. Suspects also robbed the store of an unknown amount of cash. SAPS stood down and took over the scene.
18:59 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admirality Way reported a medical emergency; one of the residents was struggling to breathe. Gardmed stood down and transported her to hospital.
19:04 SYDENHAM. A business in Uitenhage Road reported an armed robbery; six armed male suspects driving a blue polo with no registration number entered the parking lot and wanted to rob the staff leaving. The owners’ phone started ringing and the one suspect hit the clients’ son in the face with the firearm. Gardmed stood down and transported the clients’ son to hospital. No loss. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
19:09 LOVEMORE HEIGHTS. A residence in St Clairs Way was burgled; the suspects entered the premises on the 1st floor in the TV room. The suspects broke the window and removed the TV through the window. The suspects then managed to get into the roof through the braai area and entered the main bedroom. Suspects ripped the panel and the PIR off the wall. The owners’ safe was also stolen. Confirmed loss was the safe and the TV.
19:52 THEESECOMBE. An armed response officer reported that he was assaulted at a business in Welcome Avenue. The response officer was inside the shop when a male suspect with a scarf around his face tried to stab him. Response removed the suspect from the shop; the suspect fought back and stabbed the response in the arm with a screwdriver. Response took the screwdriver away from the suspect and that’s when the suspect ran away.
20:12 WALMER. A residence in Water Road was burgled; the suspects removed the glass window from the patio door. The owner is not sure if the suspects gained entry into the premises. The owner can see no loss at this stage.

04:12 MARKMAN. A business in Aston Martin Road reported a positive theft incident; four unarmed suspects entered the yard while the security officer was on patrol. The suspects assaulted the security guard and tied him up. Suspects stole a trucks spare wheel. Gardmed stood down and transported the security guard to hospital. SAPS stood down but the security officer will only open a case once he is out of hospital.

13:23 MILL PARK. A residence in Walton Road had a suspect/ vagrant on site. The Atlas armed response officer noticed the suspicious person and he was arrested. The suspect/ vagrant was taken away by SAPS for finger prints.
15:08 PROVIDENTIA. A residence in Marcia Road reported a trespassing incident; the owner confirmed that the domestic is on site and saw intruders in the yard. The owner advised that no entry was gained.
19:55 WALMER. A residence in Church Road was burgled; response reported that he met up with the owner on site. Suspects entered by removing the right hand side window. Suspects went to the main bedroom and ripped the cupboard door off and put the cupboard door in front of the PIR. Suspects took the safe from the cupboard – the safe was found and the suspects did not open it. The owner can see jewellery and a laptop missing at this stage. SAPS stood down.

00:25 KORSTEN. A business in Stanford Road reported an attempted burglary; the first right hand side window was broken but the burglar bars were still intact. The owner confirmed that he will not be coming down to the premises and that he will sort out the window in the morning.
09:13 FERNGLEN. A business in Ralston Road reported an armed robbery; response reported that it was ten male suspects, six were in a white quantum and four were in white Hyundai. The suspects pulled up and asked for the Hyundai to be filled with petrol. Five of the suspects were armed. The suspect took all the staff members into the building. Suspects took an undisclosed amount of money, the staff cell-phones and jackets. SAPS stood down and took over the scene.
09:34 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects broke the window on the left hand side of the building. The burglar bars were still intact. No entry was gained and no loss. SAPS stood down.

A business in Old Grahamstown Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects tried to enter at the workshop by cutting the sheeting. No entry was gained into the premises. 06:20 NEWTON PARK. A business in Second Avenue reported a positive theft incident; the suspects jumped over the fence and stole the two front gate motors from the premises. No entry gained into the premises itself. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
15:01 DEAL PARTY. A business in Hayward Street reported a burglary; the owner confirmed the break in occurred over the weekend. Suspects lifted the roof sheeting at the warehouse. Suspects only stole paper from the premises.
19:05 COTSWOLD. A residence in Cape Road was burgled; the suspect climbed over the boundary wall. Suspects removed a window facing the premises on the left hand side between the kitchen and the front door and entry was gained. Suspects dismantled the alarm and took the battery of the alarm. 01:12 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road was burgled; the suspects forced the security gate open and then forced the glass door open. The owner can see 1 computer tower and 2 computer screens missing at this stage.
02:36 UITENHAGE. A business in Magennis reported a positive theft incident; three male suspects cut the fence at the back and waited for the security guard to patrol. The suspects robbed the security guard of cash and his Samsung cell-phone. No injuries. SAPS stood down and the security guard opened a case.
04:51 WALMER. A business in Villiers Road reported an attempted burglary; response reported that they checked the premises and they cannot see any forced entry into the premises itself. Response arrested a suspect and hand cuffed him. Response confirmed that he turned around to check the suspects’ bag and the suspect ran away into the bush. Response was unable to find the suspect in the bush. The suspect had tools inside his bag. Response withdrew from site and will return once a key holder is on site.

04:00 PARI PARK. A residence in Brahms Road reported a trespassing incident; The owner confirmed that she saw a male suspects with a panga in her yard. The suspect tried to enter but ran away. Response confirmed that they will remain visible.
04:39 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Borghorst Street was burgled; the bathroom window was left slightly open. The suspects pulled it open further and kicked the burglar bars in. They forced the safe open. The owner can see cash missing and a 45mm firearm was taken from the safe. A case was opened with SAPS.

03:27 SIDWELL. A business in Kempston Road was burgled; the suspects smashed the showroom window and bent the burglar bars. The owner can see a computer screen and tower missing at this stage. The owner opened a case with SAPS.
03:45 CENTRAL. A business in Westbourne Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects threw a brick at the bottom window on the main door. No entry was gained into the premises.

Client can see a large sum of goods out of the safe. The owner opened a case with SAPS.
12:59 ALGOA PARK. A residence in Jacaranda Crescent was burgled; the suspects cut the lock on the security gate and kicked the front door in. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.
20:00 BLUEWATER BAY. A business in Hillcrest Drive reported an armed robbery; the owner confirmed that four males with three firearms entered the shop. Suspects fired two shots in the shop. No injuries. Suspects got away with an unknown amount of money and cigarettes. SAPS chased after the vehicle and they fired shots toward each other. SAPS arrested 2 suspects and retrieved the vehicle. The owner opened a case with SAPS.

Another company’s response officer and the owner of the premises caught the suspect and took the suspect to the police with the owner of the BMW.

A silver Chevrolet registration number FGN 284 EC stopped in the road. Two of the armed suspects walked up to her and pulled her Mercedes door open and fired a shot that damaged the vehicles driver side window. No injuries to the owner. The owner jumped out of her vehicle and the suspects got in. Suspects drove off and in the process drove over her foot. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case. 16:46 MIRAMAR. A residence in Franschoek Close was burgled; the suspects forced the drive way gate open. The suspects forced the spare bedroom window open and kicked in the burglar bars. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.

04:18 WALMER. A residence in Villiers Road reported a burglary; the suspects climbed from the back onto the roof and removed two roof sheeting’s. The owner can see one plasma TV and dojo clothes missing from the office. The owner can also see two large speakers and two samurai swords missing from the training room. Response recovered the plasma TV, a computer tower and one large speaker. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
08:12 HUMEWOOD EXTENSION. A residence in Woodhead drive reported a medical emergency; one of the residents climbed off her bed and slipped and fell on her shoulder. Gardmed stood down and transported the lady to hospital.
14:13 KORSTEN. A business in Stanford Road reported an armed robbery; two suspects entered the shop. One of the suspects was armed with a firearm. The suspects’ demanded that the cashiers hand over the cash in the cash registers. Suspects stole a undisclosed amount of money. SAPS stood down and took over the scene.
15:47 SIDWELL. A business in Kempston Road reported an attempted theft incident; the suspects tried to steal wheel caps from his vehicle.
16:29 SUMMERSTRAND. A robbery from a member of the public was noted in Galpin Road; a male suspect robbed a lady in the street and took her cell-phone and her handbag. SAPS stood down and she opened a case.
