17:20 SOUTHDENE. A business in Willow Drive reported an attempted theft incident; the owner confirmed that there were 2 suspects on site collecting scrap. Suspects left their marijuana and response recovered the scrap.

02:26 SIDWELL. A business in Cadle Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects kicked the front door open. The security gate was still intact. No loss reported to the premises.
02:30 CENTRAL. A residence in Cuyler Crescent reported a positive theft incident; the suspects smashed the small window at the back of the vehicle. The owner can’t see anything missing at this stage.

The owner confirmed that the suspect was armed with a panga and he swung it towards the client. The owner managed to run to her bedroom and locked herself inside. Suspects got away with the owners’ handbag with an undisclosed amount of cash. 07:27 KORSTEN. A business in Juta Road was burgled; the suspects lifted the roller door on the side of the premises. Suspects got away with parcels.
18:35 KAMMA HEIGHTS. A residence in Dalpour Road reported a medical; one of the residents, who are 57 years old, went to the garage and fell. She hit her head against the wall – the paramedics stood down and transported her to hospital.
18:22 WESTERING. A business in Townsend Avenue reported an armed robbery; three armed suspects entered the store. They robbed the store and stole cigarettes as well as money.
21:41 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Brighton Drive was burgled; the suspects entered using the front door as it was not locked. The suspect saw the owner and he ran away. The owner can see an I-pad and a bag full of other items missing.

04:07 LOVEMORE HEIGHTS. A burglary was reported in Louis Michael Drive; the suspects forced the aluminium latch on the window open. The suspects dropped the owners’ keys and handbag outside.
06:32 KORSTEN. A business in Stanford Road was burgled; the suspects forced the roller door open. The owner can see two welding machines, a small grinder, a pencil cutter, a laser level and a complete computer missing at this stage.
07:54 NEWTON PARK. A business in Mangold Street was burgled; the suspects smashed the window by the front door and bent the burglar bars. The owner can see 2 laptops missing at this stage.
08:32 LOVEMORE HEIGHTS. A residence in Louis Michael Drive reported an attempted burglary; the suspects forced a window open and broke the handle. No entry gained into the premises.

20:00 WALMER. A residence in Albert Road reported a house robbery; the owner heard someone trying to get into the premises using the gate. The owner went to investigate and two armed suspects approached him. The suspects gun pointed the owner and pepper sprayed him. Suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash as well as 3 cellphones.
20:15 BLUEWATER BAY. A residence in Sharon Road was burgled; the suspects entered using the upstairs sliding door. The owner can see a plasma TV and an amplifier missing.
21:07 WALMER. A residence in Water Road reported a medical; one of the residents reported that an 80 year old male was sitting in his chair when he fainted. The paramedics stood down and transported him to hospital.
21:53 KRAGGA KAMMA. An assault was reported in Kragga Kamma; a male and female were under the influence and had an argument. The male stabbed the lady and got very violent. The male was arrested and the female was rushed to hospital.

2 AUGUST 2018 THURSDAY
06:13 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Sharwood Street reported an attempted burglary; the security guard saw three suspects wearing balaclavas removing the sliding door. The suspects then cuffed the security guard and took his wallet, cellphone and everything he had on him. The owner cannot see anything missing.
08:30 SEAVIEW. A burglary was reported in Riebeeck Street; the suspect forced the kitchen sliding door open. They stole two laptops and the owners’ phone.
09:49 LORRAINE. A business in Lorient Place was burgled; met up with the owner who confirmed the break in happened the day before. SAPS were on site.
10:38 CENTRAL. A residence in Gordon Terrace reported an armed robbery; the suspect was a male. The suspects jumped out of a red golf (DKK 467 EC) and robbed the neighbour of number 6. Suspect took his cellphone and keys. The suspect that robbed the person had a firearm.
12:05 DESPATCH. A residence in Maritz Street was burgled; response saw that the gate of the premises was lifted off the railing and a suspect came out of the garage. Suspect was arrested by the SAPS and they took his fingerprints.

01:04 UITENHAGE. A business in Bell Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects stepped against the front door and the alarm activated. Suspects ran away. No Loss.
03:02 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road was burgled; the suspects smashed the back office window. No Loss.
03:09 UITENHAGE. A business in Schonland Street reported a vandalism incident; the suspects cut the fence at the back and smashed the yard beams. No Loss.
03:17 KINI BAY. A burglary was reported in Brandersig; the suspects forced the second floor window open. The owner can see a plasma TV and a laptop missing.

08:56 SEAVIEW. A burglary was reported in Main Road; the suspects smashed the back window and kicked the burglar bars in. The owner can see computers missing at this stage.
11:05 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Lark Road was burgled; the suspects forced the back door open with an axe. The owner can see a few items missing at this stage.
