Response reported that the home owner was sleeping and fell off the bed, he could not get up as he hurt his elbows and began to bleed. Gardmed stood down, cleaned his bruises and put band aids on. There was no need for hospitalisation. Response was excused from site.
03:39 NORTH END. A business in Paterson Road was burgled. Response reported that the suspects entered through the window of the warehouse. Business owner confirmed that the suspects stole a hobb. They also attempted to remove the microwave. Suspects got away and SAP recovered the goods. Client will follow up with SAP.
03:53 CENTRAL. A business in Albany Road was burgled. Response reported that the suspects broke the lock on the security gate and smashed the window with a brick. Entry was gained into the upstairs office. Business owner is missing a printer at this stage. A case will be opened with SAP.
05:29 NORTH END. A business in Hancock Street was burgled. Response reported. That the suspects removed the left hand side kitchen window, they tried to open the safe. Business owner is missing an insulin pump, two computers, and an undisclosed amount of money from the petty cash box, one monitor, a printer, a copier and a internet modem. 07:57 HUMEWOOD EXTENSION. A residence in Woodhead Drive reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported with the home owner who is 86 years of age. She has a weak bone structure and broke her wrist. Gardmed stood down and transported the patient to Hospital.
11:32 MILL PARK. A residence in Prentice Avenue was burgled. Response reported that the suspects forced the bathroom window open and gained entry. The home owner found jewellery on the floor but cannot see anything missing at this stage. SAP stood down and client opened a case.

Response reported that there were two males in the shop that looked as if they wanted to buy something, they walked around and stole a cell-phone out of the office. Response reported that the business owner’s daughter went to her vehicle when three males approached her and shoved a firearm against her side. They fled with the vehicle but nobody was injured. 00:03 CENTRAL. A Medical Incident was reported in Irvine Road. Response reported that a male, 35 years of age had a fit and bumped his eye. His eye was swollen and nose bled .Metro ambulance transported the patient to Hospital.
04:15 COTSWOLD. A business in Highfield Road had an attempted burglary. Response reported that three suspects entered the yard and broke the reception window. Suspects ran away. One suspect was arrested. Business owner will follow up with SAP.
06:08 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road reported a trespassing incident. Response reported that they met with the security guard on site. There were two suspects on site but they had left site. No loss was incurred. No SAP was required. Response was excused from site.
10:45 HUMEWOOD EXTENSION. A residence in Woodhead Drive reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that the home owner, who is 83 years of age, fell off a chair. Gardmed stood down and transported her to Hospital.

They stole water pipes. SAP stood down and client opened a case. 18:45 UITENHAGE. A business in Cuyler Street reported a trespassing incident. Response reported that on arrival they caught one suspect as he was planning to break into the premises. No entry was gained. The premises were still locked and secured. Client opened a case with SAP.

00:58 WALMER. A residence in Caithness Road reported a trespassing incident. Response reported that the home owner saw someone in the yard; Response checked the premises and couldn’t find anyone. No SAP needed.
01:15 WALMER. A sports centre in Fordyce Road was burgled. Response reported that the suspects smashed two sliding doors open as well as gained entry through the roof. The business owner confirmed that he can see alcohol missing at this stage. The suspects also ripped the alarm keypad and two passives. Response caught three suspects who were handed over to Sap and they were taken to the Walmer police station.
03:37 NORTH END. A business in Bellgrove Street was burgled. Response reported that the suspects gained entry by kicking the small door open. The business owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. SAP stood down but no case was opened.

28 August 2016 Sunday
00:44 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road reported a case of vandalism. There was a male and female on site who threw a glass against the order window in the drive through and it broke. SAP stood down but no case was opened at the time, Response was excused from site.
00:49 KORSTEN. A business in Stanford Road reported a case of assault. Response reported that there was a vagrant on site begging for money at the drive through. The Security Officer asked him to leave and he stabbed the Security officer on the head. The Vagrant left site as the Response officers stood down. The Guard did not want any medical assistance, Response was excused from site.
04:11 CENTRAL. A business in Rink Street was burgled. Response reported that the suspect gained entry by smashing the right hand side window, the business owner confirmed that he was missing a lap top from site. SAP stood down and client opened a case.

Response confirmed that they met with the security guard on site who confirmed that the same suspects that kicked the door in next door did the same here. The front door of the business was forced open. The client did not arrive on site, SAP stood down but no case was opened.
08:26 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Seventh Avenue reported a Medical Emergency. Response met with the care taker on site who confirmed the home owner had passed away. Gardmed stood down and declared the home owner deceased from natural causes. First Avenue Funeral Homes stood down and transported the body.
08:05 WALMER. A business in Albert Road reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that the suspects smashed 4 vehicles windows out and stole a battery from one of the hired vehicles. SAP stood down and opened a case.
13:26 WALMER. A residence in Water Road was burgled. Response reported that they met with the home owners wife on site who confirmed that the suspects forced the back security gate open and she can reported jewellery worth an undisclosed amount missing. SAP stood down and a case was opened.
18:37 NORTH END. A business in Uitenhage Road reported a case of vandalism. Response reported met up with the manager on site. A male in his 50’s was intoxicated and lost his room key and demanded a spare key. The male damaged the manager’s office and grabbed the cashier behind his neck. SAP stood down and client opened a case. The male agreed to pay the damage.
19:50 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road was burgled. Response reported that they met up with the Security Guard on site. The suspects entered the yard and damaged the electric fence, they kicked the front door open, they attempted to steal a monitor, microwave and UPS. All goods were retrieved as the suspects were arrested. SAP stood down and took them to Mount Road Police Station.
19:59 NEWTON PARK. A residence in Fifth Avenue had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the suspect attempted to force open the sliding door. The suspect was chased away and confirmed the home owner is aware of the incident. No SAP was requested.
21:00 SOUTH END. A business in Webber Street reported an arrest made by SAP. Response reported that a male was under the influence and was getting aggressive towards them. The Male threatened the response and the lady that was on site. SAP stood down and arrested the male.

27 August 2016 Saturday
02:25 OVERBAAKENS. A residence in Guy Butler Crescent had an attempted burglary Response reported that they met with the home owner, the suspects attempted to open the back window but did not succeed they then went to the front door of the house and tampered with the security gate but no entry was gained. Suspects opened the right hand door of the client’s vehicle but no loss. There was access gained into the shed. Client cannot see anything missing at this stage. SAP stood down and client opened a case.
03:36 LORRAINE. A residence in Centenary Road had an attempted burglary. Response reported that they met with the home owner on site. The Suspects forced the garage window open but no entry was gained. Response was excused from site by the home owner.
04:11 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Sibelius Street was burgled. Response reported that they met the home owner on site. The suspects removed the bottom study window and gained access into the premises. The home owner confirmed that there is missing jewellery and a computer at this stage. SAP stood down and a case will be opened.
05:27 DEAL PARTY. A business in Burman Road had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the security guard was trying to get hold of one of the keyholders as the suspects broke the slab on the right hand side and broke the window. They cannot see anything missing at this stage. Response was excused from site.
08:57 WESTERING. A residence in Bouganvilla Drive reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that they met with the home owner and she was struggling to breathe. The home owner had a stroke; Gardmed stood down and transported the patient to Hospital for further observation. Response was excused from site.

21:42 WEYBRIDGE PARK. A residence in Nerifolia Street was burgled. Response reported that they met with the home owners who confirmed that they heard the neighbour screaming and went to check. They arrived and saw a suspect jumping over the wall and they attacked each other. Response detained the suspect and also attended to his wounds as he had a laceration to his head. SAP and Metro stood down and a case was opened.

26 August Friday
04:10 NEWTON PARK. A business in Cape Road was burgled. Response reported met with business owner, they cannot see anything missing at this stage. No case opened.
08:15 SIDWELL. A business in Fowler Street reported an attempted burglary. Response confirmed that when meeting with the business owner they noticed that the suspects tried to break into a small building where the compressor is kept. They also tried to gain entry through the roof but no entry was gained. No loss was reported and no case was opened.
09:17 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Pheasant Road reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that they met with the home owner and she confirmed that she was on her way out with her son when she slipped and broke her arm. She had open wounds but Gardmed stood down and transported her to Hospital. Response was then excused from site.
09:24 CENTRAL. A residence in Park Drive reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that the home owner had chest pains; Gardmed stood down and transported him to Hospital for further observation. Response was excused from site.
10:19 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Dana Road was burgled. Response reported that entry was gained as the suspects smashed a side window and bent the burglar bars however nothing was reported missing at the time. Home owner confirmed they would open a case with SAP.

Response reported that th suspects forced the front gate open and gained entry into the yard, the kitchen door was standing open and they gained entry into the premises. A 54” plasma was reported missing. No case was opened.
18:28 STRUANDALE. A business in Struanway reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that the same suspect has stolen an undisclosed amount of money from site, SAP arrested him and a case was opened.
20:24 SYDENHAM. A school in Uitenhage Road had an attempted burglary. Response reported that they met with the security guard on site who confirmed that on his patrol he saw two suspects trying to force the door of the Hall open. He gave chase but lost the two suspects. No entry gained so no loss was confirmed. No case was opened with SAP.
21:23 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Petrel Way reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that the home owner was not feeling well, he was shaking and had a fever. Garmed stood down and transported him to Hospital for further observation.
21:52 SUNRIDGE PARK. A residence in Gazania Avenue reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that they met with the home owners sister who confirmed she was not feeling well however she felt a lot better when they arrived and there was no need for Gardmed. Response was excused from site.

23:57 CENTRAL. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue reported an incident of assault. Response reported that the truck driver drove into a signboard and the petrol attendant witnessed it. When the attendant wrote down the registration number, the truck driver pointed a firearm at him and drove off. SAP stood down and searched for the truck and he was found at the service station at Five ways. SAP took over and response was excused from site.

07:23 RICHMOND HILL. A residence in Burgess Street reported an attempted theft incident. Response reported that they met with the home owner’s caregiver. She confirmed someone attempted to break into her car. The gate was open. A2 was notified.
08:05 MILL PARK. A residence in Mill Park Road reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that the suspects entered the garage and stole a grinder. The home owner will not open a case with SAP and gave response permission to withdraw.
21:53 GREENBUSHES. A residence in Pennelsdrift Road had an attempted burglary. Response reported that there were suspects stealing her sheep. Response chased them and they got away. Suspects did not manage to get away with anything. No SAP.

00:59 PERRIDGEVALE. A residence in Egmont Road reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that they met with the guest, the cottage door was unlocked. Suspects opened the door and gained entry, they stole a bag of clothes, cell-phone ,and a laptop. SAP stood down and Home owner will open a case.
02:55 UITENHAGE. A business in Bell Street had an attempted burglary. Response reported that there were two broken windows and there was a passive ripped from the wall. No entry gained. Business owner will not open a case with SAP.

19:31 GREENBUSHES. A residence in Pennelsdrift Road reported a trespassing incident. Response reported that they met with the home owner, she saw a suspect attempting to steal a pig from the premises. Client shone a flashlight at him and he ran off into the bushes .Home owner did not request SAP.

22 August 2016 Monday
04:18 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road had a burglary. Response reported that the suspects cut a hole in the roof above the office and gained entry. Suspects found the keys to the small safe and removed an undisclosed amount of cash. They then found the big safe and attempted to cut it open but did not succeed. Suspects damaged the alarm wires. Client will follow up with SAP.
04:28 SUMMERSTRAND.A residence in Jenvey Road was burgled. Response reported that they met with the homeowners. Two suspects smashed the sliding door with a brick at the students’ room and threatened them. Suspects took a play-station, watch and cell-phone. SAP stood down and client will open a case.
07:21 NORTH END. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue was burgled. Response reported that they met with the business owner on site, the suspects forced a window and kicked the back door open. They switched the power off and used a grinder to open the safe. They ransacked the premises, the business owner is missing 700 cell-phones , 60-80 laptops ,R48 000 in cash ,gold jewellery and computers. SAP stood down and client will open a case.
07:44 SUMMERSTRAND. A business in Tiran Road reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that the suspects cut a hole in the canvas roof of a vehicle at the premises. Suspects gained entry from the neighbours and climbed over the wall. There has been two suspects seen on the cctv footage. SAP stood down and client will open a case.

Response reported that there was a lady and her daughter parked in front of the post office when two suspects opened the door and grabbed the daughter’s cell-phone and the suspect got away. 01:28 SIDWELL. A business in Hart Street was burgled. Response reported THAT THE Suspects entered through the roof to gain access to the admin office. Client is missing money from the petty cash box. SAP stood down but client did not want to open a case.
16:42 NEAVE TOWNSHIP. A business in Fearick Street was burgled. Response reported that the suspects forced the garage door open and entered the premises. Suspects ripped the passive and pulled the wires leading to the main building. No loss reported at the time. SAP did not arrive. Response was excused from site.
20:32 UITENHAGE. A business in Stow Street was burgled. Response reported met with the business owner , the suspects broke a window at the back of the premises and entered. Client is missing a 19inch computer screen, a mouse, keyboard and a tower. SAP stood down but client did not open a case as yet.
21:02 STRUANDALE. A business in Libertas Road was burgled. Response reported that the business owner confirmed that five suspects entered the yard area by making a hole in the fence, the suspects then smashed the boardroom window open and entered into the premises. 00:43 NORTH END. A business in York Road was burgled. Response reported that they met with the business owner who confirmed that the suspects removed one roof sheet and gained entry to the office. Suspects also forced the office window open to exit. Client cannot see anything missing at this stage. SAP stood down and client opened a case.

00:21 DESPATCH. A business in Eland Street had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the suspects attempted to break in. Point of entry was the kitchen roof, suspects made a hole in the roof. No entry was gained and no loss. Client did not want to open a case with SAP.
04:17 CENTRAL. A business in Central reported a theft incident. Response reported that the suspects gained entry at the palisade gate and forced the garage roller door open. 19:02 FERNGLEN. A residence in Glenelg Road had an attempted burglary. Response reported that there had been an attempted break in on site as there was forced entry on site. Home owner did not want SAP.
23:57 WALMER. A business in Moore Road was burgled. Response reported that the suspects forced the right hand side gate open and gained entry to the yard. They forced the shed open and took tools worth an undisclosed amount. Suspects jumped into the yard of the next door business and response caught them and arrested him. SAP stood down.

05:07 FERNWOOD PARK. A residence in November street was burgled. Response reported that the suspects forced the back door open. Client saw the suspect and they ran off. Client is missing a 32inch plasma TV, laptop and A tablet. Response confirmed that SAP recovered the clients printer and a cell-phone in the back yard. Client opened a case WITH SAP.
05:40 WALMER. An incident occurred outside an organisation in Fordyce road. Response reported that there was a guy who was under the influence and continued to undress himself after being asked to leave multiple times. The guy then wanted to assault the client, response then transported the male to the police station.
10:45 GREENBUSHES. A business in Blomme Avenue had an attempted burgulary. Response reported that the electric fence had been cut on the right hand side. However response confirmed they could not get hold of the client but would stay visible.

04:03 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Brighton Drive was burgled. Suspects smashed the window next to the sliding door and gained emtry. The Suspects threatened the client with a screwdriver and took Three Iphones and an Ipad. SAP stood down and client opened a case
04:47 DEAL PARTY. A business in Burman road was burgled. Two suspects removed the aircon on the outside of the premises and removed the ceiling boards. Access was gained, suspects stole R20 000 from the petty cash box, cigarettes and airtime worth R5000. SAP stood down and a case of Theft was opened.
05:53 PARSONS VLEI. A residence in Appaloosa street was burgled. Response reported that the suspects forced the window open. Client reported that five cell-phones were missing from site. Client did not request SAP.
17:37 MILL PARK. A residence in College Drive had an attempted break in. Response confirmed that suspects might have jumped over the electric fence. They cut the power box in the drive way and smashed the kitchen window, however no entry was gained. Client is missing a laptop and will open a case with SAP.
20:03 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Correli street was burgled. Response reported that the suspects kicked the front door open which had no security gate. Suspects gained entry and stole the clients plasma TV. SAP stood down and a case will be opened.

03:37 CENTRAL. A residence in Cuyler Crescent was burgled. The suspects forced open the door, grabbed their loot and fled.
06:55 CENTRAL. A residence in Russel road was burgled. Suspects entered through the bathroom window, they ripped the alarm panel and broke two safe’s using an angle grinder. All valuables in the safe were reported missing. A case was opened with SAP.
08:52 WALMER. A residence in Fordyce road was burgled. Suspects forced the front trelli-gate open, kicked the front door inwards and gained entry. A theft case has been opened as the client was missing a 40 inch LED Plasma.
10:26 FERNGLEN. A residence in Mayway Street was burgled. Suspects forced the front door open and kicked down the security gate, access was gained and client reported a Plasma TV missing. A theft case was opened with SAP.
10:28 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A medical emergency took place in Ibis Road. The owner was not feeling well and was transported by Gardmed.
14:02 LINKSIDE. An incident occurred in Wychwood Avenue were two school girls were robbed by two men. This was reported to the Principal and CCTV footage was checked.

23:14 LINTON GRANGE. An incident occurred at a business in Salvia Crescent. Response reported that a fight broke out with a group of guys where someone was stabbed. SAP detained the guy who stabbed the other gentleman. He was arrested and a case has been opened.

02:46 KORSTEN. A business in Durban Road was burgled. The suspects forced open the office window and gained entry. They also smashed the bottom glass door and entered the first office. Cash, a computer and other valuables were stolen.

12:33 PERRIDGEVALE. A male was trespassing in the yard of a Nile Road residence. The premises was vacant and it seemed like there was a male sleeping there. He fled when the Response Officer arrived.
