06:47 BLUEWATER BAY. Whales Way notified us of a house robbery; the Atlas client pressed their panic button for their neighbour where the attack took place. The suspects jumped the right hand side wall and entered the yard. They broke the sliding door and made their way up to the bedroom; they kicked the main bedroom door open and threatened the owner with a knife. The owner is missing a Samsung tablet. They attempted to steal the computer screen but did not manage to. SAPS stood down.
10:31 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Sharewoods notified us of an attempted hijacking; the suspects attempted to hijack the client and robbed her of her cell-phone, vehicle keys and books. The suspects ran into the bushes. SAPS arrived on site.
10:39 MIRAMAR. A residence in Dugmore Street was burgled; the suspects broke the lounge window. The owner is missing an x-box game at this stage. SAPS stood down.
12:34 WALMER. A residence in Church Road reported a medical emergency; the owner was not feeling well and collapsed. Gardmed arrived on site and did a check up. Response was excused from site.
16:02 NEWTON PARK. A school in Alexander Road reported a positive theft incident; the suspects stole a student’s phone and ran away. Response was excused from site.
21:09 WESTERING. A residence in Baobab Street was burgled; the suspects gained entered by removing the bathroom window, they then made a hole in the main bedroom ceiling to see where the wires were. Suspects ransacked the main bedroom. The owner is uncertain of any loss at this stage. SAPS stood down.
21:39 NORTH END. A business in Bellgrove Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects opened the window to secure their break in at a later stage. No entry gained. No loss. The owner excused response from site.

27 FEBRUARY 2017 MONDAY
03:16 WALMER. A business in Victoria Drive was burgled; the suspects broke two windows and bent the burglar bars. They stole a laptop and cash from the cash register. The response was excused from site.
03:23 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Gomery Avenue reported an attempted burglary; where were two suspects on site who attempted to break the bathroom window but did not gain entry. Response was excused from site.
03:45 SIDWELL. A business in Cadle Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects tried to break in as they broke a window and bent the burglar bars but did not gain access. Response was then excused from site.
04:53 MANGOLD PARK. A residence in Elanie Crescent was burgled; the suspects removed the beading from the aluminium window and gained access. The stole a 32” LCD TV and fled. SAPS stood down.
07:20 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admirality Way reported a medical emergency; response met with the owner of one of the units and she was very weak. Gardmed stood down and transported her to hospital.
07:32 MILL PARK. A residence in Mill Park Road reported a positive theft incident; the owners domestic got off the bus when three males threatened her with a piece of rod and demanded her cell-phone. They then fled in an old white sedan vehicle. Response was then excused from site.
07:32 NORTH END. A business in Sidon Street was burgled; the suspects broke in through the roof. They then entered the premises and broke the window in the bathroom to gain further access for other suspects. The owner confirmed that there were quite a few items missing: laptop, copper pipes, 2x external hard drives, a radio and a kettle. The owner recovered the copper pipes. SAPS stood down.
07:35 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Beyers Road reported an attempted burglary; suspects broke a small window that had no burglar bars but did not gain access as the owner’s dog tried to attack them and the burglar cut his leg on the glass. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage and excused response from site.
07:52 MILL PARK. A residence in Rietz Road reported a positive theft incident; the domestic was outside of the premises when a male threatened her with a knife and demanded her cell-phone. They then fled on foot. SAPS stood down.
08:32 SYDENHAM. A business in Uitenhage Road was burgled; the suspects entered the yard and broke a window. The owner confirmed they can only see copper pipes missing at this stage and SAPS stood down.
08:57 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Sharwood Street reported a positive theft incident; the domestic was robbed of her cell-phone. The domestic did identify the suspects and the owner excused response from site.
09:48 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road reported a positive theft incident; suspects stole roof sheeting that was standing next to the yard beam. Response was excused from site.
14:29 CENTRAL. A business in Strand Street reported an attempted theft incident; a suspect tried to steal a pair of pants by pulling the tag off and in the process, damaged the pants. Response was then excused from site.
14:46 DESPATCH. A business in Main Street was burgled; the suspects broke a window at the back of the premises but the burglar bars are still intact. A small suspect must have entered as the owner identified Opel vehicle keys missing. Response was excused from site.
17:29 WALMER. A residence in Church Road was burgled; the suspects tangled the electric fence and got into one of the units by forcing the lounge door open. The stole a plasma TV and a surround sound system. SAPS stood down.
20:01 NORTH END. A business in Harrower Road reported a positive theft incident; a client threw petrol in their vehicle and went into the shop to purchase goods. Someone was getting a lift from the client and rode off with the vehicle; the client could not pay for the petrol as their wallet was in the vehicle that was stolen. SAPS stood down.
21:12 NEWTON PARK. A business in Sixth Avenue was burgled; the suspects broke a window on the left hand side of the building and kicked the burglar bars in. Access was gained and they stole a Plasma TV and 5 chainsaws. SAPS stood down.
23:32 MISSIONVALE. A business in Bethelsdorp Road was burgled; there was a previous break in and the door was never fixed. The suspects came to the premises on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The owner confirmed that he can see a tablet and cell-phone missing. SAPS stood down.

01:03 GREENBUSHES. A business in Old Cape Road was burgled; the suspects cut the fence and gained entry to the back of the premises. They kicked a steel and wooden door open. The owner is missing cables and one wooden door. Response was excused form site.
07:09 WALMER. A residence in Ninth Avenue reported a medical emergency; response met with Mrs Gray who confirmed that there was someone on the premises who seemed to be unresponsive or dead. Response reported after an hour they got a pulse from the person. Gardmed stood down and transported him to hospital.
11:01 PROVIDENTIA. A residence in Harry Road reported a burglary; the suspects forced the door open in the braai area and entered the premises. The owner is missing a plasma TV and excused response from site.
11:54 DEAL PARTY. A business in Stanbridge Street reported a trespassing incident; four suspects entered the yard and cut the wires of the trucks batteries. No loss suffered, response was excused from site.
12:59 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Maritz Street reported a medical emergency; the owners’ father had a fit and fell from his chair. Gardmed transported client to hospital.
14:32 CLEARY PARK. A business in Stanford Road reported an armed robbery; two males entered the shop and one of them were armed. They stole a few bottles of whiskey and ran away. SAPS stood down.

18:10 GREENBUSHES. A business in Old Cape Road was burgled; there were two caravans broken into. The owner cannot determine any loss at this stage.
23:29 MILL PARK. A residence in College Drive reported a burglary; the owner fell asleep with the front door wide open and the suspects ransacked the flatlet. The owner confirmed a laptop, cell-phone and a wallet missing. The wallet was recovered outside in the yard but the cash was stolen. SAPS stood down

25 FEBRUARY 2017 SATURDAY
01:19 PARI PARK. A residence in Glendore Road reported an armed robbery; response reported that the barman was busy closing the premises when three males pointed a firearm at him. The suspects stole a cell-phone, money as well as the keys to the premises. The suspects then fled the scene after not being able to get into the premises. SAPS stood down.
02:32 WALMER DOWNS. A residence in Alan Drive was burgled; the suspects forced the lounge window open and kicked the burglar bars in. They entered and stole a plasma TV and a hand bag. SAPS stood down.
07:59 SEAVIEW. Atlas received a call regarding an incident that occurred in Seaview Road; a male was fighting with his girlfriend when a friend interfered and hit him with a golf club, he was then stabbed with a screw driver in the heart. The boyfriend was declared deceased on the scene. SAPS stood down
08:47 NEWTON PARK. A business in Worraker Street reported a positive theft incident; a suspect stole a battery from a truck. They managed to get a golf open and stole a set of speakers. A bathroom window had been broken but no entry was gained. The suspects removed the air conditioner as well. SAPS stood down
09:25 WALMER. A residence in Albert Road was burgled; the suspects forced the lounge window open and kicked the burglar bars in. They stole a TV. SAPS stood down
10:03 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admirality Way reported a medical emergency; one of the residents is mentally ill and was transported to hospital by Gardmed.
14:26 GREENBUSHES. A business in Old Cape Road reported a trespassing incident; a suspect was found tampering with the fence. SAPS stood down and removed the suspect. 16:33 DEAL PARTY. A business in Metcalfe Street reported an assault; the security officer was on patrol and when he returned he saw a suspect entering the guardhouse. The security guard was assaulted and stabbed in his back; the owner transported him to hospital.

00:09 NEWTON PARK. A business in Shirley Street was burgled; response reported that there was a break in at the outbuilding. The right hand side window had been broken and the blinds were ripped. No key-holder stood down.
01:30 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road was burgled; the suspects entered through the palisade fencing. They bent the sheet on the right hand side of the warehouse and entered. The owner is missing copper pipes. SAPS stood down.
05:18 KORSTEN. A business in Kempston Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects entered through the bathroom window and crawled on the floor. They went to the back area where all the scrap was. The suspects stole some copper. The owner confirmed that he will do stock take to determine the loss. Response was excused from site.
12:45 WOODLANDS. A residence in Seine Road was burgled; the suspects entered through the main bedroom window and kicked the burglar bars in. The owner cannot see anything missing. The suspects then entered the bedroom window in the flatlet, suspects stole a laptop.
13:29 GLENHURD. A residence in Handsworth Street was burgled; the suspects gained entry through the son’s bedroom window by kicking in the burglar bars. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage and excused response from site.

02:54 CENTRAL. A residence in Ivy Street reported a trespassing incident; the owner was in the bathroom when she saw the hand of a suspect in the bathroom. Suspects opened the window by the front door, the owner shouted and he fled. SAPS stood down and response was excused form site.
08:34 CENTRAL. A business in Strand Street reported a trespassing incident; the suspects trespassed and vandalised the premises. There was no point of entry. No loss. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
09:48 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Sibelius Street was burgled; the suspects forced the burglar bars open and entered the premises. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
18:56 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Harvey Street reported a positive theft incident, there were three males who robbed her of her handbag which contained her cell-phone, Ipad, R350 in cash and other personal items. The suspects ran into the bushes. Response was excused from site.
19:33 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Pheasant Road reported a medical emergency; one of the residents took pills with alcohol and overdosed. Gardmed stood down and stabilised the patient. The patient was not hospitalised and response were excused from site.
21:21 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road was burgled; response confirmed the premise has been ransacked. No key-holder on site. Response secured the window as best possible.

03:18 SIDWELL. A business in Grant Street was burgled; the suspects entered through the front right hand side of the roof. The owner confirmed that at this stage they can see a microwave missing. SAPS stood down and response was excused from site.
05:44 GREENBUSHES. A business in Draaifontein Road reported a burglary; the suspects kicked the front door open and entered the shop. They stole two tills with an undisclosed amount of cash. Suspects also stole toiletries and other small items. Response retrieved a till from the bushes. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
06:30 CHARLO. A residence in John Avenue reported a medical emergency; one of the residents went to the bathroom and passed out. Response felt for a pulse but he was already deceased. Gardmed stood down and declared the patient as deceased.
08:06 WALMER. A business in Heugh Road was burgled; the suspects broke the front door but no entry was gained. No loss, the owner excused response from site.
10:52 PARSONS HILL. A residence in Potgieter Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects forced the security gate open and attempted to kick the front door open but could not manage to. No entry was gained. The owner opened a case with SAPS.
16:40 VIKINGVALE. A residence in Jill Street was burgled; the suspects entered through the roof. The owner is missing three plasma TV’s, jewellery and an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects managed to break the safe open and stole a firearm. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
21:57 NORTH END. A business in Charlotte Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects broke the left hand side window but no access was gained. Response was excused from site.

23:31 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road reported an assault; the security guard was on patrol when three males approached him. They tied him up and stabbed the security officer with a knife above his eye. They beat him up using a sharp weapon against the head and stole two cell phones, pepper spray, a torch and his tag. Gardmed arrived and transported the officer to hospital for a check up. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.

00:43 GOEDEMOEDSFONTEIN. A residence in Seaview Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects tampered with the sliding door but no entry was gained. Response patrolled the area.
00:51 WALMER. A business in Victoria Drive reported an attempted burglary; the suspects got onto the roof and removed two metres of roof sheeting. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. No entry was gained and excused response from site.
00:58 KORSTEN. A business in Cottrel Street reported an attempted burglary; response reported that the suspects broke the front window. No entry was gained and the owner suffered no loss. Response was excused from site.

02:33 GREENBUSHES. We received a call regarding arrests in Mission Road; response reported that they caught four suspects who had knives in their possession and suspected house break in equipment. SAPS and the flying squad arrested the suspects.

03:49 ALGOA PARK. A residence in Boekenhout Street reported a positive theft incident; the suspects stole copper pipes from the premises. The owner excused response from site.
05:00 SIDWELL. A business in Kempston Road was burgled; the suspects broke the window on the front left hand side with a hammer and kicked in the front door. The suspects tried to remove a safe but did not succeed. No loss, the owner then excused response from site.
09:20 DEAL PARTY. A business in Burman Road reported an armed robbery; one of the employees were on their way to the drop safe to place the money in when two male suspects who were both armed with fire arms attacked her and demanded her to hand over the money. The employee then put up a fight and the suspects shot her in the right hand side leg and took the bag of money. The suspects fled in a white polo. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
20:38 WESTERING. A residence in Redwing Drive was burgled; the suspects entered through the main bedroom window broke the burglar bars. They used the same entry point to exit the house. The suspects broke the safe out and the owner can see a laptop missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.

00:10 WALMER. A business in Villiers Road was burgled; the suspects broke the right hand side window with a big rock and gained entry. The owner can see a computer tower missing and an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
00:21 SCHOENMAKERSKOP. A business in Victoria Drive reported an attempted burglary; the suspects cut the burglar bars and kicked the window in. It seemed as though the suspects were disturbed by the alarm. No loss and no entry gained. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
03:23 KABEGA PARK. A residence fence alarm in Deacon Street notified us of a burglary; the response officer met with the owner who confirmed that at the back of his premises where the fence is cut, they forced the shed open. The owner cannot see anything missing. Response found the guys that were inside the complex. SAPS stood down and arrested the suspects for possible house breaking and trespassing. Response was then excused from site.
03:44 MANGOLD PARK. A residence in Madelaine Street was burgled; the suspects threw a rock through the living room window and stole two laptops. The owner opened a case with SAPS.
04:17 DESPATCH. A business in Rabie Road reported a positive theft incident; the security guard on site confirmed that after his patrols hey noticed the door was standing wide open. Suspects stole his cell-phone charger, 2 power banks, id, company id, pepper spray, handcuffs and his wallet. SAPS stood down and response was excused from site.
06:07 RICHMOND HILL. A residence in Landsdowne Place reported a positive theft incident; the suspects broke in through the passenger side window of the owner’s vehicle. The owner confirmed that a battery is missing at this stage and excused response from site.
07:15 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Thrush Road was burgled; the owner called in and confirmed that the neighbour saw four suspects. They sat in front of the garage door. The suspects stole a jewellery box and a few other items and left the box laying in the yard. A case was opened with SAPS.
08:10 CENTRAL. A business in Clyde Street was burgled; the suspects bent the back palisade fencing and kicked a hole into the back door and gained entry. The owner is missing a carpet and excused response from site.
08:44 NEWTON PARK. A business in Worraker Street was burgled; the suspects broke the front left hand side window and bent the burglar bars. They entered the premises and forced the office doors open. The owner confirmed that there is missing jewellery. A case was opened with SAPS.

20:54 SUNRIDGE PARK. A residence in Cassia Drive reported a medical emergency; the owner’s friend fell in the swimming pool after having a seizure. The ambulance service stood down and transported the patient to hospital after stabilising him. Response was then excused from site.
22:54 LORRAINE. A residence in Verdun Road reported a trespassing incident, the owner saw a suspect in the yard, when he saw him the suspect ran towards the pool area of the complex. Response was then excused from site.

01:14 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Gomery Avenue was burgled; the suspects jumped over the wall and forced a room window open. A Student saw the suspect but the suspect still managed to grab a Samsung S6 and a Lenovo laptop. SAPS stood down and the owner will be opening a case.
02:05 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Beethoven Avenue was burgled; the suspects got over the electric fence but they were unaware of the beams in the yard. The beams activated inside the house and alerted the owner; they then heard the glass break in the spare bedroom. No loss and no entry gained. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
02:52 CENTRAL. A business in Pearson Street reported a medical emergency; one of the residents was on his way to the shop when 2 suspects approached him and stabbed him in the stomach. Response was excused from site.
08:53 UITENHAGE. A business in Pasteur Road reported a positive theft incident; as per the owner, there were 2 suspects on site and his CCTV cameras at the back were stolen. The barbed wire was also cut. Response was excused from site.

They then also entered the premises that was still open and tried to steal 2 lights in the men’s toilet. The suspects only managed to damage the ceiling. Response was excused from site.

05:38 CENTRAL. A residence in Gordon Terrace reported a positive theft incident; the suspects broke into the owner’s vehicle. The owner confirmed that she is missing one bag with a pillow and pajamas. Response was excused from site.
05:55 WALMER DOWNS. Atlas received a call regarding a residence Allan Drive  The suspects entered via the sliding door and took the owners money from his wallet and his cellphone. A case was opened.
07:47 UITENHAGE. A business in Caledon Street reported an armed robbery, the owner confirmed that three males who were armed with firearms, entered the shop and took the clients cell-phone. An undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes were also stolen from site. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
08:33 WALMER DUNES INDUSTRIAL. A business in Tassen Road was burgled; the suspects cut the padlock off the gate and entered the premises. The owner confirmed that a stepladder, cement and a few tools were missing. Response was then excused from site.
09:12 SYDENHAM. A business in Pyott Street reported a positive theft incident; the suspects jumped over the wall and entered the yard. They stole 4 truck batteries.SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.

15:55 DESPATCH. A business in Amperbo Street Heuwelkruin reported an attempted burglary; the suspects attempted to force the entry hall entrance door open but only damaged the lock. The owner excused response from site.
18:20 GELVANDALE. A business in Stanford Road reported an attempted armed robbery; the owner confirmed that there was an attempted robbery on site, the suspects entered the shop and took alcohol from the store. They then fled in a city golf. Response was excused from site.
20:50 DESPATCH. A business in Amperbo Street was burgled; the suspects broke the left hand side window and kicked the burglar bars off. They then broke the lock leading to the bar area. SAPS stood down and arrested the suspect, a case was opened.
22:13 FRAMESBY GARDENS. A residence in Flormay Crescent was burgled; the suspects entered from the back valley; they removed two bricks and bent the spikes to get into the yard. They climbed through the bathroom window; ripped the alarm system out and the main bedroom was ransacked. A TV from the lounge area and the bedroom area are missing. The owner reported the two TV’s missing as well as a large amount of items from the premises. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.

00:22 SIDWELL. A business in Davies Street reported an attempted burglary; response reported that the window had been removed but the burglar bars were still intact. Response could see force marks, the owner was notified.
01:46 CHARLO. A residence in Adam Road was burgled; the suspects entered the spare bedroom window and bent the burglar bars. The owner is missing two cell-phones, jewellery and an undisclosed amount of cash. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
03:32 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Beethoven Drive reported a trespassing incident; the client heard the beams activate and saw two young males in the yard. Suspects jumped over the yard wall. Response confirmed that there was damage to the electric fence. Response was excused from site.
