09:27 BAAKENS VALLEY. A business in Horton Street reported a possible burglary. No force marks or entry was gained. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
11:23 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Crane Avenue was burgled; the suspects kicked the front door open. The owner can see 2 plasma TV’s missing. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
12:31 SIDWELL. A school in Sutton Road reported an assault incident; a suspect walked into the school grounds and stabbed a pupil. The patient was transported to hospital.
19:48 DESPATCH. A non Atlas subscriber called in to report a medical emergency; the patient had come out of hospital but was not feeling well. The ambulance service transported him to hospital. 22:35 CENTRAL. A business in Pearsons Street reported a medical emergency; the owner confirmed that one of her clients were busy having a stroke. Gardmed stood down and transported the patient to hospital.

30 JULY 2017 SUNDAY
02:09 MOUNT PLEASANT. A residence in Mazantsi Street Salisbury Park reported a medical emergency; the domestic worker was suffering from severe pain. The owner confirmed that she will take her to hospital with her own transport as the ambulance did not arrive as yet
04:08 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Sparrow Avenue reported a burglary; the owner said he heard someone in the house and pressed the panic. The suspects had forced the back door open. The owner can a 52″ plasma TV missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
08:56 LINKSIDE. A residence in Carnoustie Crescent was burgled; the suspects gained entry by the gate at the back of the premises then proceeded to the wendy house. The owner can see a lawn mower, weed eater and his computer missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case. PG glass stood down to replace the window.
10:07 GREENACRES. A business in The Bridge Ring Street reported an armed robbery; two male suspects entered the premises one had a firearm. Suspects’ gun pointed the staff member and forced them to open the safe. Suspects took all the cell-phones from the safe. SAPS stood down and took over the scene.
13:48 LOVEMORE HEIGHTS. A residence in St Claires Way was burgled; the suspects entered via the roof at the main bedroom and ripped out the panel. They ransacked the house. The owner can see the safe missing. There were two firearms and jewellery in the safe. The owner can also see 2 LG plasma TV’s, 2 cell-phones, kettles and a microwave missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
14:06 STRUANDALE. A business in Struanway reported a new armed robbery; there were six male suspects. One of the suspects stood at the gate and told the security he was waiting for his transport, the security opened the gate for him and the other suspects then also entered the premises. The suspects’ gun pointed the security guard. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and a lot of wine. Suspects fled the scene in the company’s bakkie. No injuries on site. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
23:47 UITENHAGE. A business in Magennis reported a trespassing incident; there were 3 to 4 suspects that made a hole in the fence and went to the bins where the scrap metal was. The security on site cannot confirm if anything is missing at this stage.

29 JULY 2017 SATURDAY
04:14 BETHELSDORP. A business in Barberry Street was burgled; the suspects broke the side window with the burglar bars. The receptionist does not have keys so cannot determine if anything is missing at this stage.
09:56 NEWTON PARK. A residence in Second Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the suspects forced the garage door open. No protection in the garage. The bottom of the garage door is bent. The owner cannot see anything missing from site at this stage.
09:22 SWARTKOPS. A residence in Strand Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects broke the window and removed the burglar bars by the bathrooms. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. No loss
12:52 CENTRAL. A business in Westbourne Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects attempted to break in at 3 places. They tried on the left hand side and right hand side window. The suspects also tried at the back door. No entry was gained.
19:09 MILL PARK. A residence Fairford Avenue was burgled; the suspects gained entry by removing the window in the main bedroom walk in closet. Suspects were only in the main bedroom area. The owner can only see jewellery missing at this stage. PG glass stood down and replaced the window.
21:32 KABEGA PARK. A business in Woltemade Street was burgled; the suspects gained entry through the back kitchen window. Suspects forced open the window and removed the burglar bars. Suspects also forced open the back security gate. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.
21:50 WESTERING. A residence in Bouganvilla Drive reported a burglary; the suspects got over the spikes and into the owners’ yard. The window by the garage door was open – the suspects just kicked in the burglar bars and entered. The owner can see 2 bicycles, mini hi-fi, DVD player and frozen food missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
21:51 CENTRAL. A business in Western Road reported a positive theft incident; the owner advised that someone stole chicken livers but ran off.
22:50 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Beethoven Avenue was burgled; the suspects broke the living room sliding door window and gained entry. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage as the house is for sale. PG glass stood down and replaced the window. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.

28 JULY 2017 FRIDAY
08:43 KORSTEN. A business in Durban Road was burgled; the suspects entered through the ceiling at the back. The roller door was forced open. The owner can see the safe missing at this stage.
10:39 ROWALLAN PARK. A residence in La Trobe Street was burgled; the suspects kicked in the front door and broke the lock of the security gate. The owner can see 2 plasma TV’s and a laptop with an external hard drive missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
19:43 MOUNT PLEASANT. A residence in Rhodes Street was burgled; the suspects forced open the back stable door and safety gate. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.
21:56 PARSONS HILL. A residence in Joubert Street reported a positive theft incident; response and the owner checked the premises. The owner noticed that his motor gate was stolen when he got home.
03:39 UITENHAGE. A business in Magennis street reported a trespassing incident; the security guard on site said that three suspects jumped the fence when they saw the security guard they jumped back over the fence and left the premises.

27 JULY 2017 THURSDAY
02:30 WALMER. A non Atlas subscriber reported a burglary in Villiers Road. Three suspects entered the back of the premises and went to the bar. They stole bottles of liquor. One of the suspects ran into 6th avenue and the other suspect jumped on the back of a bakkie and the bakkie drove off. Response arrested one of the suspects on the corner of 5th avenue and Albert road. SAPS stood down and took the suspect away. The back door was not secured yet but the security guard will patrol.
07:26 NORTH END. A business in Sidon Street was burgled; the suspects broke the kitchen window by the main warehouse roller door and kicked in the burglar bars. The owner can see a full set of golf clubs missing and opened a case with SAPS.
09:12 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admirality Way reported a medical emergency; one of the residents fell off the bed. Gardmed stood down and examined the owner. No injuries.
10:20 WALMER. A residence in Albert Road reported a house robbery; three male suspects entered the premises armed with one firearm and a knife. Suspect tied the 4 gentleman up with cable cords. The owner had a laceration wound at the back of his head. The suspects ransacked the house and the safe was stolen. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
10:49 WALMER. A business in Allister Miller Road reported an armed robbery; the fidelity vehicle was busy on site when the suspects approached the vehicle. Suspects got away with the fidelity firearm and the canister with money in. Suspects then went inside the business and robbed the tills of all the cash inside. The owner opened a case with SAPS.
11:20 GELVANDALE. A residence in Martin Street reported a medical emergency; Gardmed stood and treated the owner as she was complaining about the high blood pressure.
11:47 FAIRVIEW. A residence in Restitution Avenue was burgled; the suspects removed the sliding door by the living room and gained entry. The owner can see a flat screen missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
12:15 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Frykenhuis Street reported a medical emergency; the domestic fainted and seemed to have had a stroke. The owner reported that the domestic is +-56 years of age. The ambulance service stood down and transported the domestic to hospital.
19:57 SUNRIDGE PARK. A residence in Clematis Street reported an assault incident; response reported that the owners’ son assaulted his mother and father with a baton and then tried to stab his father with a knife. Response had to intervene. The son spat in the response face. The girlfriend got the son in her car and drove away from the scene. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case. SAPS went and arrested the son at the girlfriends’ house.

26 JULY 2017 WEDNESDAY
01:25 MOUNT CROIX. A residence in Mount Road reported an attempted theft incident; the owner confirmed that he saw three suspects climbing over his wall with a ladder. He shouted and 2 of the suspects run off. There is a gas bottle missing at this stage. Response arrested the 3rd suspect with the ladder and handed him over to SAPS.
02:18 NORTH END. A business in Albany Road reported a burglary; the suspects entered through the fence on the left hand side and broke a small window. They tried cutting the burglar bars but did not succeed. Suspects then kicked in the back door and entry was gained. Suspects grabbed 10 grinders, 2 industrial drills and a big welding machine. Response arrived on site and waited for the dog unit to arrive. Suspects were arrested. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
04:02 WALMER. A residence in Main Road was burgled; the suspects made a small hole in the glass door on the right hand side and opened the door. The owner can see a wallet with bank cards and an undisclosed amount of cash as well as a mountain bike and a tablet missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
04:12 CENTRAL. A business in Pearsons Street reported an attempted theft incident; a female suspect was stealing a cell-phone. She tried to run and threw the cell-phone over the electric fence. Response reported that he had to use his hand cuffs on the female as she was getting violet.
04:26 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admiralty Way reported a medical emergency; one of the residents was vomiting and had very high blood pressure. Gardmed stood down and transported her to hospital.
05:46 KAMMA PARK. A residence in Gayle Street reported a positive theft incident; the owner phoned in to report that his gate motor got stolen during the course of the evening. The owner would just like armed response to patrol the area as he cannot meet with them.
07:59 NORTH END. A residence in Kelly Street reported an attempted theft incident; the suspects removed the gate and burglar bars from site but did not manage to get it back.
08:56 NORTH END. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue reported an armed robbery; three armed suspects entered the premises. The suspects tied the cashier up with tie straps and took her to the back bathroom and left her there. The owner opened a case.
10:19 SOUTH END. A residence in Pier Street was burgled; the suspects entered the complex by climbing over the wall and kicked down the owners’ front door. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
18:23 WALMER. A residence in Fordyce Road was burgled; the suspects entered by the front left hand side main bedroom window. Suspects forced the window open and climbed through the burglar bars. Suspects went through the main bedroom into the passage and into the lounge. The owner can see a laptop missing at this stage.

25 JULY 2017 TUESDAY
03:22 CENTRAL. A business in Bird Street was burgled; the suspects entered through a window on the second floor. The owner can see a computer tower missing at this stage.
05:26 BROADWOOD. A residence in Justin Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects forced the spare bedroom window open but did not break it. The owner confirmed that he cannot see anything missing at this stage.
07:28 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Carne Road reported a medical emergency; one of the residents had a heart attack while sitting on the loo. Gardmed stood down and confirmed the patient deceased.
11:14 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admirality Way reported a medical emergency; one of the residents confirmed that before response arrived the lady was unconscious and not responding. The patient had a stomach bug. Gardmed stood down and checked her vitals.
14:52 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road reported an armed robbery; response reported that the only information he could get was that 5 suspects all armed entered. The owner confirmed that he can see some cash missing at this stage.

24 JULY 2017 MONDAY
01:46 KORSTEN. A business in Kempston Road was burgled; the suspects broke the left hand side window and bent the burglar bars. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. SAPS was on site and took over the scene.

23 JULY 2017 SUNDAY
01:13 MILL PARK. A residence in Burton Road was burgled; the suspects gained entry through the main bedroom window. Suspects took 2 plasma TV’s, response recovered the 2 plasmas in the back yard. The keyholder cannot see anything else missing from the premises at this stage. SAPS stood down and a case was opened.
05:26 COTSWOLD. A school in Loerie Street was burgled; the suspects broke the kitchen window with a hammer. Response reported that the keyholder cannot see what all is missing at this stage, she will wait for the staff so they can do a proper check. SAPS stood down and she opened a case.
06:25 DESPATCH. A residence in Harvey Street was burgled; the suspects forced the back bedroom window open and removed the burglar bars. The suspects went to the main bedroom and took 2 firearms from the safe. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
04:31 CENTRAL. A business in Edward Street was burgled; the suspects kicked in the power room door with no security gate and entered. The room was ransacked and the electricity box as well as cables were stolen. Response reported that there is no power at the premises.
10:16 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road was burgled; the suspects broke the back window with no burglar bars on the outbuilding. Suspects tried to take an old broken computer box, paint and paint brushes.
12:28 SOUTH END. A business in Webber Street reported a robbery from a staff member. Two suspects walked into the business and one of them kept the cashier busy. The other suspects grabbed her bag and ran. They fell when they got to the valley, response caught the suspects and SAPS took them away. A case was opened.
13:30 MANGOLD PARK. A residence in Neville Street was burgled; the suspects removed the bathroom window and threw the window into the swimming pool. Suspects removed the safe from the daughter’s room. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
14:55 SIDWELL. A business in Kempston Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects kicked the wooden door open but the security gate kept them from entering. No entry gained.
15:57 MILL PARK. A residence in Westview Drive was burgled; the suspects forced the bathroom window and burglar bars open. Suspects went through the bathroom ceiling to the main bedroom and made a hole in the ceiling. The owner can see jewellery and cameras missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case. The alarm was no armed.
22:14 MILL PARK. A business in Westview Drive was burgled; the suspects forced open the garage door. Owner phoned in and confirmed that they are aware of the break in at the garage and will sort it out the next day as they not going back down to premises.

22 JULY 2017 SATURDAY
05:59 GREENBUSHES. A business in Ericadene Road was burgled; the suspects kicked the back door open and gained entry. The owner confirmed a TV, radio, 2 tog bags, cups and plates missing at this stage. Suspects kicked in the back door to exit. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
06:57 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Louis Botha Cresent reported a positive theft incident; the owner confirmed that one of the domestics from another home was robbed of her belongings. The suspects was caught a few houses down. The domestics’ handbag was given back to her – suspect was taken to the police station.
11:11 MIRAMAR. A residence in Willmore Crescent was burgled; the suspects entered through a window that they kicked out. Response met up with the keholder on site who could not confirm what was missing at that stage. Response replaced the window.
13:47 PARI PARK. A residence in Glendore Road reported an assault incident; the response met up with the owner who was stabbed in his ribs and his worker was stabbed as well. SAPS arrived on scene as well as Gardmed. The dog unit was busy with a search for the suspects.
14:03 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road was burgled; response met up with the owner. The suspects entered through a window that was left open by the owner. A grinder was reported missing.
15:46 HUMEWOOD EXTENSION. A residence in Woodhead drive reported a suspect throwing stones at their window. Response was speaking to the owner when he saw someone jumping the fence into the complex. The suspect was caught and SAPS took him away. PG glass repaired the window.
18:30 MILL PARK. A residence in Dene Road was burgled; the owners’ son met response on site. The suspects managed to gain entry through the bathroom window. They cannot determine if anything is missing at this stage.
20:06 LOVEMORE HEIGHTS . A residence in St Claires Way was burgled; response met up with the owners. The suspects broke into the premises by cutting out the bottom window in the lounge and threw it into the pool. They managed to gain entry and stole the safe which contained jewellery and a firearm. SAPS stood down and PG Glass. The window was repaired and a case was opened.

21 JULY 2017 FRIDAY
01:03 SIDWELL. A residence in Sutton Road was burgled; response reported that the met up with the neighbour. The entry point was the bathroom window, suspects kicked the window broken and kicked in the burglar bars. According to the neighbour the suspects are still inside. SAPS stood down and took over the scene and where awaiting the dog unit.
06:20 DESPATCH. A residence in President Brand Street reported a medical emergency; the owner confirmed that he was not feeling well and suffers from high blood pressure. Gardmed stood down and confirmed the blood pressure fine and checked his vitals. The owner was not transported to hospital.
07:20 SHERWOOD. A residence in Henlo Crescent reported a positive theft incident; the owner confirmed that he forgot to lock his car. When he returned to the vehicle in the morning, the car doors were standing open. The owner confirmed that a laptop and paperwork was missing. SAPS stood down and a case was opened.
11:28 SEAVIEW. A residence in Old Seaview Road reported an attempted burglary; one of the sales consultants met up with the owner. Suspects got into the courtyard and tried to open the sliding door with a sharp object. Entry was not gained.
13:48 UITENHAGE. A business in Caledon Street reported an attempted theft incident; response confirmed that two suspects tried to steal a DVD player and a remote. They ran off and were chased. The DVD player and remote were recovered. SAPS stood down.
16:11 MILL PARK. A residence in Walton Road was burgled; response confirmed that they met with the keyholder on site as the owner was away. The suspects entered the premises through the main bedroom window. The passive was ripped and the safe was ripped from the cupboard. The owner confirmed that jewellery and personal documents were in the safe. SAPS took over the scene.
16:24 SIDWELL. A business in Sidwell Avenue reported a positive theft incident; response confirmed that they met with the owner on site. There were 3 male suspects who stole scrap from site.
17:24 THEESECOMBE. A residence in Sonop Street reported a positive theft incident; the owner confirmed that she has builders on site. When she walked back into the main bedroom where they were hanging a new door, she saw that two of her rings were missing that were valued at a very high price. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
18:58 GLENDININGVALE. A residence in Dan Pienaar Street was burgled; the suspects broke the toilet window and kicked in the burglar bars and entered the premises. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. SAPS stood down.
19:28 MIRAMAR. A residence in Thakwray Avenue was burgled; the suspects forced the owners’ main bedroom window which had no burglar bars open and entered the premises. The owner cannot see what is missing at this stage.
20:03 WOODLANDS. A residence in Montagne Road was burgled; the suspects entered at the sons bedroom. They bent the outside burglar bars and forced the window open and kicked in the inside burglar bars. Suspects went through the cupboards. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. Owner opened a case with SAPS.

20 JULY 2017 THURSDAY
08:05 DEAL PARTY. A business in Old Grahamstown Road was burgled; the suspects entered through the top section window, they removed the window which had no burglar bars. The owner can see a plasma TV missing at this stage. Suspects also tried to steal a whole computer set but left the screen behind. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
11:29 CHARLO. A residence in Carrington Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects entered the premises by breaking the main bedroom window and removed the burglar bars. Suspects ransacked the whole house. Suspects also cut the alarm wires. The owner can see a plasma TV, laptop and lots of jewellery missing at this stage. The laptop and plasma TV was recovered but was damaged. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
12:55 DESPATCH. A residence in Martin Road was burgled; the suspects forced the security gate open and kicked in the front door. The owner can see a 40″ plasma TV, 1tb hard drive and a wedding ring missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
16:52 DESPATCH. A business in Main Road reported an armed robbery; the manager reported that she was on tea when she walked into the robbery. 4 to 5 male suspects with firearms robbed the liquor store. 1 of the suspects forced the firearm onto her hip and demanded money and alcohol. The suspects ripped the wiring of the CCTV. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case. Response reported one of the ladies was treated for shock as the ambulance arrived and transported her to the hospital.
19:43 WALMER. A residence in Fordyce Road reported a trespassing incident; the owner confirmed that he went to the shop and when he returned he heard a bang at the door and when he went to go check there was a male suspect. The suspect was trying to force his way into the premises. The owner caught the suspect. SAPS arrived on site and took the suspect away.
19:51 CENTRAL. A business in Westbourne Road was burgled; the owner confirmed that it seems like the suspects forced open the back door. He cannot see anything missing at this stage.
22:43 SEAVIEW. A residence in Upper Seaview Road reported a house robbery; response reported that on arrival he had to kick in the front door as the owner’s were tied up. Response reported that the suspects gained entry using the living room bottom window. Suspects removed the whole window with the frame, there are no burglar bars. The owner can see a wallet, jewellery and laptop missing at this stage. Gardmed stood down and transported them to hospital. SAPS stood down and took over the scene.
23:22 SIDWELL. A member of the public called in and reported a positive theft incident in Kade Street. Response reported that the owner of the vehicle that was broken into just got into bed when he heard noises. He went a looked and saw that his car was broken into and they stole his sound. SAPS stood down and he opened a case.

19 JULY 2017 WEDNESDAY
04:11 MARKMAN INDUSTRIAL. A business in Aston Martin Road was burgled; the suspect forced the front door of one of the petrol huts open. The owner can see a printer, computer screen and a computer tower missing at this stage. Response also found a card machine and chargers outside.
05:12 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Beethoven Street was burgled; the suspect forced the main bedroom sliding door open and pulled it closed again. Suspects went through the house. The owner can see a 42″ Plasma TV, handbag and a jewellery box missing at this stage. Response found the plasma in the bush and arrested one of the suspects in the bush. Response also found a handbag in the bush but it does not belong to the owner. SAPS were on site and owner opened a case.
07:47 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road was burgled; the suspects entered at the front office on the left hand side. Suspects removed the window and bent the burglar bars. The owner can see a Dell computer screen missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
08:04 SIDWELL. A business in Kempston Road was burgled; the suspects entered through the roof by the kitchen. The owner can see a computer box missing at this stage. SAPS was on site and he opened a case.
19:13 KABEGA PARK. A residence in Rotterdam Street reported a medical emergency; response reported that the owners’ father was busy having a heart attack when they arrived at the business they were at the time. The p[patient was laying on the back seat. Gardmed stood down and stabilised the patient. Gardmed transported him to hospital.

18 JULY 2017 TUESDAY
02:19 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Beethoven Street was burgled; the suspects entered through the lounge window by removing the burglar bars. The owner can see a 22″ Telefunken flat screen TV missing at this stage. Suspects opened the sliding door from the inside and jumped over the wall. SAPS stood down and the dog unit where still busy searching for the suspects. The owner opened a case with SAPS.
09:10 NEWTON PARK. A business in Third Avenue was burgled; the suspects entered from the back double window. The suspect broke the left hand side window and tried to enter through the empty room but the door to the room was locked. Nothing is missing on site. Suspects also ripped the power off from the electricity box outside of the premises. SAPS stood down and manager opened a case.
19:11 GREENBUSHES. A business in Blomme Avenue the owner confirmed that the electric fence was held up with 2 sticks. Response proceeded to check the back of the premises and went to the front and saw one of the suspects underneath the truck. Response reported that he had to use force to arrest the suspect. They found a 25 litre barrel with 3/4 of diesel in and a draining pipe on the suspect. Two of the tractors and a truck were tampered with. The owner confirmed that the will check in the morning to determine complete loss. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case. The suspect was taken away and the goods that were found on the suspect was booked in for evidence. No entry was gained into the building itself.
22:41 UITENHAGE. A business in Bell Street was burgled; the suspect kicked the front door in. SAPS entered with the dog unit. Response managed to secure the door best possible as the owner was away.

17 JULY 2017 MONDAY
04:23 CENTRAL. A business in Western Road reported a trespassing incident; the suspects in a white Opel Corsa were at the fence with a firearm. The owner approached them and they drove off. Armed response checked the area for the vehicle.
06:44 SIDWELL. A business in Relton Road was burgled; the suspects jumped over the fence and went to the workshop at the back. Suspects broke the window and forced open the burglar bars. The owner can see a welding machine and a grinder missing at this stage.
06:59 SIDWELL. A business in Sidwell Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the suspects pulled a telephone system through the office window that was forced open.
07:16 NORTH END. A business in Edgar Lane was burgled; the suspects gained entry using the back premises. The suspects broke into both premises back warehouses. The owner can see power tools missing at this stage.
07:41 MILL PARK. A residence in Walton Road reported a house robbery; the owner was busy making lunch when a male suspect approached the kitchen window. She told the suspect that she needs her keys back and that is when she pressed the panic button. Suspect tried to stab her in the neck but the owner ducked and suspect cut her hand. 07:51 DEAL PARTY. A business in Sturrock Street was burgled; the suspects entered through the roof. Suspects made a hole in the upstairs office passage way wall and entered into the first office on the right hand side of the staircase. The owner can see a desktop PC and a screen missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
09:01 SYDENHAM. A business in Pyott Street was burgled; the suspects came over the roof and entered the courtyard into the middle of the workshop. Suspects unscrewed the metal sheeting on the door that leads into the workshop and bent it to enter the workshop. Suspects cut the wires of the alarm. The owner can see 2 grinders and another machine missing at this stage. Suspects took the batteries out and tied it to a hose pipe trying to pull them up to the roof. Suspects left them behind.
12:03 NEWTON PARK. A business in Fourth Avenue reported an armed robbery; response reported that it was 4 male suspects that were involved in the armed robbery. One of the suspects was armed with a 9mm firearm. Suspects came into the cash office and forced the lady to open the safe and they removed an undisclosed amount of money from the safe. There were 2 ladies and 1 gentleman in the office, suspects told them to lie down. The suspects took 1 of the workers cell-phones and no injuries on site. Suspects locked the stuff up in the cash office and the door has to be kicked down to get the staff out. SAPS stood down and took over the scene. Gardmed stood down and treated the necessary people for shock.

16 JULY 2017 SUNDAY
00:49 UITENHAGE. A residence in Hexrivier Road was burgled; the suspects forced the main bedroom window open with a crowbar and entered. Suspects ransacked the bedroom. Response reported that they found a safe outside the premises but there was an unknown amount of money inside the safe that was no longer there. The safe was not locked or mounted to anything.
01:25 SIDWELL. A burglary took place in Commercial Road; this was an ADT client. Response reported that the suspect went through the roof and is hiding inside. There is no alarm at the premises. SAPS stood down.
01:54 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Beethoven Street was burgled; the suspects hit the spikes on the complex perimeter wall across from the clients unit flat and entered the complex. Suspects forced open the back kitchen door with a crowbar and entered the premises. The owner can see a 55″ Samsung smart TV missing. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
05:09 SUMMERSTRAND. A business in Brighton Drive was burgled; the suspects entered using the outside cottage and forced open the door. The cottage only has one door and has no protection. The owner can see a safe missing with an undisclosed amount of money in. The owner also reported a laptop missing. SAPS opened a case with the owner.
09:27 CHARLO. A residence in Mark Avenue was burgled; the suspects forced the lounge window open on site and removed burglar bars without breaking the window. Suspects ransacked the main bedroom, lounge and the 2 spare bedrooms. The owner is not sure what is missing at this stage as they are waiting for the owners’ wife to arrive.
12:03 WESTERING. A residence in Narcissus Street reported a medical emergency; one of the residents was not feeling well and was transported to hospital.
15:38 LINKSIDE. A residence in Windrush Avenue was burgled; on the far right hand side of the premises the suspects removed the spikes and climbed the wall. Suspects forced a small window open by the bedroom sliding door. Suspects opened the cupboard and opened the safe. The owner had his firearm with him. Suspects went down the passage and managed to get to the panel and disarm the alarm system. The owner can see a Plasma, play station and a hi-fi system missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
16:28 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admiralty Way reported a medical emergency; one of the residents had a heart attack – his family member transported him to hospital.
23:00 SOUTH END. A business in Walmer Boulevard was burgled; the suspects stole 2 plasma TV’s from the front reception area. Suspects also kicked in 2 office doors, not sure if anything is missing from the offices. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
23:16 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Villiers Road reported a medical emergency; one of the residents collapsed. Response assisted one of the helpers to get her to the bedroom. Gardmed transported her to hospital.

00:04 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Pheasant Road reported a house robbery; the suspects cut the fence between two cottages. The owners’ son was watching TV in the lounge when the suspects broke the big lounge window with no burglar bars. Suspects attacked the owners’ son. Suspects took the plasma TV and ran away. Suspects returned and attack the resident again and took his cell-phone and ran. The owners were sleeping in the main bedroom at the time. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case. PG glass stood down and replaced the window.
02:59 SOUTH END. A residence in Karmin Drive was burgled; the suspects entered at the back window by the lounge area. The suspects tried to take the TV but the alarm scared them off. No loss on site.
05:41 SIDWELL. A business in Sutton Road was burgled; suspects entered through the roof and removed one of the roof sheeting. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.
06:03 NEW BRIGHTON. A business in Sheya Kulati Street reported a positive theft incident; response met up with the security officer and the owner. The owner confirmed that there is one copper pipe missing.
06:55 CHARLO. A residence in Justin Road reported a positive theft incident; phoned in to confirm that they are away. Suspects broke into the house sitters vehicle.
07:26 NEWTON PARK. A business in Worraker Street reported an attempted theft incident; the suspects forced the front door small window open, the burglar bars are still intact. No entry was gained. Client cannot see anything missing at this stage.
08:50 HUMEWOOD EXTENSION. A residence in Woodhead drive reported a medical emergency; one of the residents was not feeling well. She complained of stomach cramps and was vomiting. She was transported to hospital for further observation.
08:54 UITENHAGE. A business in Caledon Street reported a positive theft incident; suspect is a male vagrant. Suspect entered the shop and stole 1 loaf of white bread, big Doritos and a nougat chocolate. Suspect left on foot and ran away.
09:13 NEAVE TOWNSHIP. A business in Kendle Street reported a trespassing incident; the security guard was patrolling when they saw pipes by the fence. The suspects then jumped over the fence again and ran away. The owner was notified and said he will send someone down to site but there is no need for response to stand by.
09:15 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Buffelsfontein Road was burgled; the owner confirmed that her roommate was sleeping during the whole break in. Response reported that the premises are upstairs and downstairs. Suspects went upstairs and opened the window and went through the burglar bars in the bedroom. The owner can see 3 cell-phones, jewellery and a wallet. There were also two back packs with medical equipment inside as well as a stethoscope missing at this stage. Suspect then left through the sliding door. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
09:17 SIDWELL. A business in Eveready Road reported a trespassing incident; there was a suspect in the yard stealing copper pipes. Response reported he met up with the security guard on site. The suspects jumped over the wall and ran off.
11:15 SIDWELL. A business in Hart Street reported a positive theft incident; the suspects broke into a white Yaris vehicle. Suspects broke the left hand side rear window. The owner can see 2 bags missing that contained clothing and passports. SAPS stood down and owner opened case.
12:43 STRUANDALE. A business in Struanway reported an armed robbery; 4 suspects entered the shop pretending to be customers. The suspects went to the bulk section. The 2 suspects at the bulk section had firearms and went to the tills. The suspects told everyone to lie down on the ground. They emptied all the tills out into a bin. The suspects also robbed a lady that was standing in the queue to pay for her stock. The suspects left the shop and robbed a lady at the gate. The amount of money that they stole from the business is undisclosed. As the suspects attempted to run out the gate was closed, the suspects then threw the bin over the gate and the money flew out. Suspects then attempted to pick up the money and suspects then ran away. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case. No injuries on site.
12:46 SIDWELL. A business in Sutton Road was burgled; response reported that there was a positive roof break in on site. The suspects went into the office area. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.
13:00 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Buffelsfontein Road was burgled; the suspects forced open the main bedroom window and broke the burglar bars and entered through to the lounge, both areas have a PIR. The owner can see a 40” Plasma TV missing at this stage.
19:14 WALMER. A residence in Church Road was burgled; the suspects broke the main bedroom window on the right hand side and kicked the burglar bars in. Suspects unplugged the transformer in the bedroom then went to the cupboard and ripped the alarm panel out. The main bedroom was ransacked. The owner can see jewellery missing at this stage.
19:17 WALMER. A residence in Dormy Place was burgled; the suspects removed the main bedroom window on the right hand side with no burglar bars. The keyholder confirmed that the safe is still intact and he thinks only a laptop is missing. The keyholder got permission from the owners to take 2 black bags with him when he left. PG glass stood down and repaired the window.
19:35 MILL PARK. A residence in Cape Road reported a trespassing incident; the owner confirmed that someone just jumped over there wall into their yard. There was a positive break in next door. Response retrieved a microwave from the bushes. The owner gave a description of one of the suspects.
19:36 MIRAMAR. A residence in Dugmore Street was burgled; the suspects forced the left hand side pedestrian gate open and entered the yard. The suspects then forced open the main bedroom window and kicked in the burglar bars. The suspects forced the safe open and took jewellery.
19:53 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road was burgled; response reported that they are unable to see the entry point as there are a lot of old broken windows. The owner is not sure what is missing at this stage. Response retrieved a microwave outside the premises.
20:19 GLENHURD. A residence in First Avenue reported a vandalism incident; the owners were busy watching TV when someone threw a stone through the left hand side lounge window next to the front door. SAPS stood down.

04:56 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admiralty Way reported a medical emergency; the owner fell and hurt her hip. Gardmed stood down and took her to Hospital.
06:47 DEAL PARTY. A business in Burman Road was burgled; the suspects entered the back warehouse and forced the roller door open. The owner is not sure what all is missing at this stage. A case was opened with SAPS.
11:25 LINKSIDE. A residence in Heythrop Drive was burgled; the suspects broke the back bathroom window which had no burglar bars and gained entry. Suspects went through to the main bedroom and trashed the whole room. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. The owner opened a case with SAPS.
09:10 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admiralty Way reported a medical emergency; one of the residents had a stroke. She was transported to hospital.
09:11 CENTRAL. A residence in Dickens Street pressed their panic as they saw suspects. Response arrived at the premises and got the description of the suspects from the owner at the hairdresser. Response went and checked the premises and the response found the suspect. Response walked back with the suspect to the other subscriber who was burgled which positively identified the suspect with the stolen goods. Response recovered PS4 games and a medical kit. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
10:28 YOUNG PARK. A residence in Ditchling Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects tried to gain entry through the back door. The owner confirmed that the children heard the suspects and slammed the security gate and then pressed the panic button.
11:28 SUMMERSTRAND. Atlas received a call from someone in Marine Drive who confirmed that a gentleman was having a heart attack. The shift supervisor transported him to hospital.
12:04 CENTRAL. A residence in Brickmakers Kloof was burgled; response reported that there is a break in on site, the left window near the gate is broken. SAPS were phoned.
12:37 GREENBUSHES. A business in Old Seaview Road was burgled; the suspects entered at the back of the nursery and cut a hole in the roof sheeting. The owner can see some plants and 2 cameras missing at this stage.
12:38 GREENBUSHES. A business in Old Cape Road reported a medical emergency; one of the employees was on his way to the bathroom when he passed out. He has had flu and is also diabetic. Gardmed stood down and stabilized the patient. Gardmed confirmed that it might be a heart attack or high blood pressure. Gardmed transported the patient to hospital for further treatment.
13:24 DESPATCH. A residence in Kloof Street reported a positive theft incident; the owner confirmed that the suspect use to do work for her. She went to take the suspect some food to eat when he stole R300 from her. SAPS stood down.
17:43 KAMMA PARK. A business in Kragga Kamma Road reported an attempted theft incident; three male suspects tried to steal some items from the shop. Suspects were caught by the staff.
18:03 MANGOLD PARK. A residence in Norman Road was burgled; the suspects broke the window on the right hand side of the front door and entry was gained. The owner can see 2 Plasma TV’s and the home entertainment system missing at this stage. The suspects broke the security gate by the passage and went to the bedrooms. They confirmed clothes missing and the suspects took personal items from the safe. All the rooms where ransacked.
20:17 ALGOA PARK. A residence in Jacaranda Crescent was burgled; the owner returned home and saw that her garage door was open. Suspects entered and took building equipment.
21:06 LOVEMORE PARK. A residence in Hilltop Drive reported a medical emergency; the owners’ wife was vomiting and she was sitting on the toilet when she fell into the bath. The owners’ wife is breathing but she is not responding. The owner is very old and could not get much information from him. Gardmed stood down and transported her to Hospital.
21:45 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Fourth Avenue was burgled; the suspects jumped over the wall and entered into the yard. Suspects went to the back alley way and made a small hole in the sliding door and unlocked the door with the keys in it. The suspects ransacked the whole house. The owner can see a Plasma TV, electronic appliances, money from the small safe that was forced open and the big safe missing which had a 9mm firearm, shotgun and a rifle in. Response reported that they recovered the plasma TV in the alley way and a microwave in the drive way. Suspects then went to the back flat and broke the window and gained entry into the flat. Electronic items were taken from the flat. Owners’ son saw the suspects jump the wall. SAPS stood down and the owner opened case.

13 JULY 2017 THURSDAY
06:21 NEW BRIGHTON. A business in Sheya Kulati Street reported a fire on site; response reported that he met up with the owner. The oven in the bakery caught on fire. The fire brigade stood down and put the fire out. Only the oven got damaged.
09:01 SUMMERSTRAND. A non Atlas resident in Admirality Way was burgled; the suspects entered through the bathroom and cut the alarm wires. The premises were ransacked and the suspects took a lot of goods. The suspects got away with the safe, all the TV’s and the DVD.
11:45 BEVERLEY GROVE. A residence in Courtney Close was burgled; the suspects kicked in the front door and entered into the premises. The owner can see a 40″inch plasma TV, 32″inch plasma TV, Dell laptop and a 500 GIG hard drive missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and client opened a case.
11:53 WALMER. A business in Heugh Road reported a medical emergency; an elderly customer was shopping and when she exited the shop she fell and hit her head. Gardmed stood down and transported the lady to hospital.
12:16 HUMEWOOD. A business in Beach Road reported that there was a vagrant on site begging for money. Response reported when the security officer tried to inform the vagrant to leave the premises as he is not allowed on the premises, the vagrant threw the security guard with a stone against the leg. The injury was severe and the security guard had to be taken to hospital. The vagrant fled towards the harbour side.
13:17 SUNRIDGE PARK. A residence in Gazania Avenue reported a medical emergency; response reported that the owner collapsed. The ambulance service stood down and transported him to hospital.
22:54 NEWTON PARK. A business in Fifth Avenue was burgled; response reported that he met with the owner on site. Suspects broke the right hand side window and cut the burglar bars. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.

12 JULY 2017 WEDNESDAY
02:16 SYDENHAM. A business in Pyott Street was burgled; the suspects gained entry by the front door. The locks on the security gate and the door were broken. At the main gate by the truck there is a window broken and entry was gained into the store room. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. The container in the yard has force marks on. No alarm system is in there.
03:27 KORSTEN. A business in Kempston Road was burgled; the suspects broke the glass by the entrance door and bent the burglar bars. Response apprehended one of the suspects and handed him over to SAPS without any injuries. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
09:06 NEWTON PARK. A business in Cape Road was burgled; the suspects cut the locks by the roller doors in Cape Road and entered into the alley way. Suspects then removed the window and the burglar bars and entered the premises. They took a computer screen and a tower out of the cupboard which had no protection. Suspects crawled to the display cupboard and took watches, tablets, camera lenses, PS games, tools, electronic appliances, play station 1,2,3,4 and 4 gaming consoles. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
04:06 SIDWELL. A business in Strang Street was burgled; the suspect managed to get into one of the workshops. Scrap was taken from the workshop. Response reported he will have wait for client to open in the morning as he is not on site now. SAPS stood down. SAPS and response secured the place best possible and then both withdrew.
09:06 SYDENHAM. A business in Uitenhage Road was burgled; the suspects kicked in the back door and entry was gained. There is no protection on the back door. The owner can see 2 plasma computer screens, 2 laptops and diagnostic equipment missing at this stage.
11:23 KORSTEN. A business in Kempston Road was burgled; the suspects entered through one window and broke another. The owner can see blankets missing at this stage.
12:09 DESPATCH. A school in Amberbo Street Heuwelkruin was burgled; the suspects forced open the back window and entry was gained. At this stage the owner cannot see anything missing. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
18:26 GREENBUSHES. A business in Bagli Lane reported an assault incident; a group of male suspects entered the store and attacked the manager with a hockey stick. The suspects tried to rob the store but did not succeed.

03:46 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road was burgled; the suspects broke the left hand side display window and entered. Suspects went to the back where the TV was ripped off the wall. Suspects also went through all the tills and through all cupboards under the tills. The owner can only see the TV missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
04:33 ST ALBANS. A business in Rietkuil Road reported that a Nitrous guard made a positive arrest near the Kwanobuhle side fence. Suspects entered the premises as they set traps for poaching.
06:59 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Bognor Street reported a medical emergency; one of the residents was struggling to breathe. Gardmed stood down and transported her to hospital.
07:47 HUMEWOOD EXTENSION. A residence in Woodhead Drive reported a medical emergency; one of the residents went to the dentist the day before and when she woke up she was feeling ill. Gardmed stood down and transported the patient to hospital for observation.
08:04 MOUNT PLEASANT. A residence in Reginald Street reported an attempted burglary; the owner confirmed that he was in the bathroom when he heard a bang by at the security gate. Suspects attempted to kick in the front door. The owner confirmed that he opened for the dogs and the suspect ran away and drove away in an unknown vehicle. The owner did not manage to get any details of the vehicle or the registration number. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
10:28 CHARLO. A residence in Jeremy Road was burgled; the suspects entered by the left hand side bathroom window. The window was left open and the suspects kicked in the burglar bars. Suspects also covered the one PIR with a towel. The owner confirmed that he cannot see anything missing at this stage. Response reported that they recovered a lot of clothing items outside. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
13:34 WALMER. A residence in Fordyce Road was burgled; the suspects forced the bedroom window open and broke the latch. The burglar bars were still intact, the suspects climbed through the burglar bars. The owner confirmed an unknown amount of money and 2 bicycles missing at this stage.
14:00 MILL PARK. A residence in Salisbury Avenue was burgled; the suspects gained entry into the yard by jumping over the back wall in Snowden Avenue. Suspects broke the window by the lounge area. The owner can see 2 laptops missing at this stage. Response reported that he checked the CCTV footage with the owner and got a description of the suspects. The suspect who was arrested fits the description of the suspect on the CCTV footage.
14:49 MILL PARK. A school in College Drive reported a trespassing incident; response reported that the suspect was in the school with 2 laptops. The suspect was wearing jeans and a brown jacket. SAPS stood down and took the suspect away as the security guard caught him.
15:16 HILLSIDE. A business in Third Avenue reported an armed robbery; response reported that three male suspects wearing black jackets entered the shop armed with firearms. The owner confirmed that the suspects stole an unknown about of chocolates and ran off. No injuries on site.
16:15 WOODLANDS. A residence in Montagne Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects cut one of the windows burglar bars but no entry was gained.
22:40 SIDWELL. A business in Eveready Road reported a positive theft incident; response reported that he checked the CCTV footage with the security guard. They saw the suspects stealing copper pipes at the back section.

00:39 NEWTON PARK. A business in Shirley Street reported a trespassing incident; they saw suspects across the road trying to steal a ladder and called in.
00:40 NEWTON PARK. A business in Worraker Street reported an attempted theft incident; the suspects unclipped the fence and took the ladder from the yard.
01:33 WESTERING. A residence in Bouganvillea Street was burgled; the suspects entered through the small living room window. The owner locked herself in the main bedroom but the suspects kicked the door down. There were three suspects; one was armed with a screwdriver. Suspects demanded her cell-phone and money. They also got away with the TV, laptop, 2 cell-phones and the owners wallet. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
02:28 LORRAINE. A residence in Chaumont Road reported an attempted burglary; the owner saw 2 suspects by his vehicle. When he put the lights on, the suspects ran off and got into a vehicle.
07:35 SOUTH END. A business in Duncan Avenue reported a positive theft incident; suspects entered using the back fence. They made a hole in the fence next to the gas bottles and stole 2 gas bottles. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
08:50 PERRIDGEVALE. A residence in Andover Road was burgled; the suspects entered and went to the cottage. They managed to get through the window which has no burglar bars. The owner can see a laptop, iPhone, 4 external hard drives, jewellery, shoes and other items missing at this stage.
11:23 BAAKENS VALLEY. A residence in Brickmakers Kloof was burgled; the suspects broke the window at the back kitchen door with no burglar bars and gained entry to the premises. The owner can see a blackberry Smartphone missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case. PG glass stood down and fixed the window.
14:23 INDUSTRIAL PARK. A business in Tassan Road Dunes reported a positive theft incident; the suspects entered the premises by making a hole in the front left hand side vibracrete wall. The owner can see cabling missing from the premises.
17:08 MILL PARK. A residence in Cape Road reported a positive theft incident; the owner confirmed that he can see scrap metals missing.
17:59 SUNRIDGE PARK. A residence in Cassia Drive reported a medical emergency; \one of the residents was complaining of bad stomach cramps. Gardmed stood down and checked her vitals – she refused to be transported and waited for her daughter to come home.
19:55 UITENHAGE. A business in Constitution Road De Mist was burgled; the window at the back had been broken and two of the beam wires had been cut. No key holders available to check the premises with the response officer. Response secured the window best possible.

01:21 NORTH END. A business in Harrower Road reported a trespassing incident; one of the key holders and response checked the premises and there was suspects in the yard.
03:15 SIDWELL. A business in Strang Street reported a burglary; the suspects broke the back window and bent the burglar bars to gain entry. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. 11:03 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Sharwood Road reported an attempted burglary; response reported that there was no break in that only the keypad was ripped off. The owners’ premises are under construction and he bypassed the zones that the suspects moved around in.
21:38 COTSWOLD. A business in Highfield Road reported an armed robbery; two suspects approached the security guard on site. They threatened him with a knife and a cricket bat. They managed to get away with his cell-phone.

8 JULY 2017 SATURDAY
04:22 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Ruben Crescent was burgled; the suspects went to the back of the premises and removed the burglar bars from the bathroom window and gained entry. The owner can see a laptop and cell-phone missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
08:56 DESPATCH. A school in Amberbo Street Heuwelkruin was burgled; the suspects entered through the reception window. The window was not broken at all. The suspects kicked the staff room door open but the owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.
09:31 GREENBUSHES. A business in Ericadene Road was burgled; the suspects broke a large window that was not secured with burglar bars and gained access into the premises. The owner can see a small plasma TV and a computer tower missing at this stage. The owner opened a case with SAPS.
10:32 NEAVE TOWNSHIP. A business in Henry Ford Road reported an armed robbery; three suspects entered the premises and started shooting. Suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a black polo with registration number DLV823EC. No one was injured on site. SAPS traced the number plate to residence in New Brighton. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
12:27 RICHMOND HILL. A residence in Irvine Street was burgled; the suspects broke a window and kicked in the burglar bars. They managed to gain access but ran out the back door again. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.
16:22 NEWTON PARK. A business in Fifth Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the suspects went straight for the outbuilding and broke a window. The burglar bars were extremely strong and the suspects did not manage to gain entry into the premises.
20:57 WALMER. A business in Heugh Road reported an attempted theft incident; the security guard witnessed three suspects trying to break into a vehicle that was parked outside a business. The guard identified the vehicle where the suspects came from as a red Mazda with registration HNB816EC. Three suspects approached the white Opel and damaged the left hand side handle. When the response arrived on site, the suspects jumped into the Mazda and fled the scene. Response followed the vehicle and notified the SAPS of the whereabouts of the vehicle.
21:43 SIDWELL. A business in Candle Street reported an armed robbery; three suspects entered the shop and demanded cash, the suspects took an undisclosed amount out of the till. No description of the vehicle given. SAPS stood down.
22:24 NORTH END. A business in Reed Street was burgled; the entry point was the front door. The suspects removed the locks off the security gate and broke the bottom glass part of the door. The owner cannot see what is missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case. PG glass stood down and repaired the window.

7 JULY 2017 FRIDAY
01:54 MARKMAN INDUSTRIAL. A business in Buick Street was burgled; the suspects forced the metal sheeting open at the delivery area and entry was gained. One truck battery was removed and the tried to remove all four wheels from a bakkie. One suspect was arrested by the security officer.
03:23 CHELSEA. A house Robbery was reported. The suspects crawled underneath the electric fence on the left hand side of the drive way and entered the yard. Suspects removed the left hand side lounge window. The owner heard the noise in his lounge and fired 2 shots from his bedroom. Suspect forced the security gate open in the passage and over powered the owner and stabbed him in the head. Response recovered a laptop, clothing, alcohol, cell-phone and a necklace. The suspects were armed with knives and screwdrivers. Response used his medical bag to bandage the owners wound. Gardmed arrived, SAPS stood down and the dog unit.04:06 CENTRAL. A business in Dickens Street was burgled; the suspects broke the window on the left hand side of the front door. The window had no burglar bars. The owner can see 2 laptops and an iPod missing at this stage. SAPS was on site and owner opened a case.09:45 MILL PARK. A residence in Cape Road was burgled; the suspect jumped over the wall at the back. They forced the sliding door and back security gate open and entered. As per the owner there was no loss on site. 14:10 SUNRIDGE PARK. A residence in Verbene Avenue reported a positive theft incident; the owner is currently renovating the premises. A suspect came to the domestic advising her that he is a tiler – she took him to the back of the house while 2 other suspects entered and stole 2 plasma TV’s, 2 laptops, X-box and a few other items. The domestic saw the suspects get into a green Toyota Tazz with the goods and then only saw the gun. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.19:20 WALMER DOWNS. A residence in Alan Drive reported a medical emergency; the owner said she had already called the ambulance and they were taking the patient away upon arrival. 01:29 NEWTON PARK. A residence in Second Avenue reported an attempted burglary; suspects tried to force the garage door open and damaged the lock. They were not successful. Response did check the garage with the owner, the car inside was still locked. 12:44 DEAL PARTY. A business in Burman Road was burgled; the suspects entered via the roof. The owner can see airtime and a few other goods missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.

6 JULY 2017 THURSDAY
01:45 SIDWELL. A business in Hart Street was burgled; the suspects entered via the roof. The owner cannot see what is missing at this stage.
02:22 LOVEMORE PARK. A residence in Seaview Road was burgled; the suspects forced the window facing the fountain open and entered. The exit point was the sliding door in the same room. Keyholder cannot see what is missing at this stage.
02:45 MALABAR. A residence in Nathan Close reported a trespassing incident; the owner confirmed that there were two suspects in the yard. When the suspects heard the alarm activating they ran off. No entry into premises itself.
05:18 WESTERING. A residence in Papenkuil Place was burgled; the suspects removed a big lounge window and gained entry. The owner can see his TV, laptop and wallet missing at this stage.
08:58 DESPATCH. A residence in Pienaar Street was burgled; the suspects forced the safety gate and the front door open with a crow bar and entered the premises. The owner can see 2 TV’s, an internet box and a Nico camera missing at this stage. SAPS opened a case with the owner.
19:14 WALMER. A residence in Water Road reported a fire; response reported that he met up with the owner who confirmed that she tried to change the gas bottle. There was a heater that was on and caused a spark while changing the bottle. Fire Brigade was on site and they managed to extinguish the fire. Only damage was the front door.
21:19 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Starling Crescent reported a medical emergency; one of the residents had a black out while he was on the toilet and fell. Gardmed stood down and transported him to hospital.
23:09 GREENBUSHES. A business in Old Cape Road was burgled; the suspects forced the back roller door open and gained entry. Suspects then kicked in the first office door. Three money boxes are missing.

02:24 KORSTEN. A business in Lindsay Road was burgled; the suspects removed the roof sheets and entered the owner can see cables missing at this stage.

00:27 CHELSEA. A residence in Upper Seaview Road was burgled; the suspects opened the cottage sliding door and entered. The owner can see a handbag and laptop missing at this stage. Owner opened a case with SAPS.
08:36 MOUNT PLEASANT. A residence in Buffelsfontein Road reported a medical emergency; the owner confirmed that one of the ladies had a fit. Gardmed arrived and transported her to hospital.
09:07 NEAVE TOWNSHIP. A business in Kendle Street reported an attempted burglary; the owner cannot identify if access was gained but reported that he will check. 17:07 WALMER. A residence in Water Road reported a medical emergency; one of the residents was complaining of chest and abdominal pains. Gardmed arrived and transported her to hospital. 20:46 NORTH END. A business in North Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects tried forcing the gate in the alley way open. The owner is not sure if entry was gained. 21:25 GREENBUSHES. A business in Old Cape Road was burgled; the suspects forced the back roller door open. The owner can’t see anything missing at this stage. 23:19 UITENHAGE. An incident occurred in Church Street; response reported that he caught 2 suspects in the street with a gearbox in their possession. Response opened a case with SAPS.

3 JULY 2017 MONDAY
02:05 GREENBUSHES. A residence in Pennelsdrift Avenue reported a positive theft incident; the suspects stole copper pipes. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
03:23 NEWTON PARK. A business in 3rd Avenue was burgled; the suspects removed 3 small windows and entered the premises. Suspect went upstairs and scratched in all the cupboards and drawers. They tried taking a computer tower but did not manage to. No loss on site.
04:41 NEWTON PARK. A business in Third Avenue was burgled; the suspects switched the electricity off and smashed the reception window. The owner can’t see anything missing.
05:07 HUMEWOOD. A residence in Killarney Road reported a positive theft incident; the suspects smashed the passenger side window. Owner can see his binoculars missing.
07:24 NEWTON PARK. A business in King Edward Street was burgled; the suspects forced the right hand side window open. The owner can see cell-phones missing at this stage.
07:54 SIDWELL. A business in Sutton Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects lifted the roof sheets at the back. No entry gained and no loss on site.
08:12 CENTRAL. A business in Upper Dickens Street was burgled; the suspects smashed a window at the back and pulled a laptop through the window. Owner opened a case with SAPS.
10:49 CHARLO. A residence in Bayly Street reported a medical emergency; response helped the owner to his bed and noticed that his legs were turning black. Gardmed will send a vehicle and transport him to hospital.
11:10 NORTH END. A business in Hancock Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects smashed the window on the left hand side but burglar bars was still intact. No entry gained and no loss on site.

2 JULY 2017 SUNDAY
01:03 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Thrush Road reported an armed robbery; the suspects entered by breaking the spare bedroom window with no burglar bars. Suspects pushed the owner out of their way and took a 40” plasma TV. Suspects left via front door. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
01:58 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Sparrow Avenue was burgled; the suspects broke the back lounge window and entered. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage, he says he will wait for his daughter to get home and check. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
06:06 GELVANDALE. A business in Stanford Road reported a positive theft incident; while they were off loading bread; three suspects took bread from the truck. One of the suspects had a firearm. Upon response arrival the suspects and the truck was gone.
09:25 DESPATCH. A business in Main Road was burgled; the window where the wendy house is, was broken. The owner can see some tools are missing.
10:53 WALMER. A business in Fifth Avenue reported a fire; upon arrival the fire brigade was on site and they broke down the door at the granny flat. The granny flat could not be saved.
12:14 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Sibelius Street was burgled; the owner was away on holiday and returned home. On the front right hand side of the gate the suspects climbed over the wall. They forced the en-suite bathroom window open and pulled the security gate open. The owner can see jewellery, watches, perfume, clothing and diamonds missing at this stage. Suspects ripped open the safe. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
15:55 UITENHAGE. A residence in Van Der Riet Street was burgled; the owner confirmed that the main bedroom window was broken and the burglar bars removed. They can see the drawer closest to the wall was removed. The owner is not sure if entry was actually gained or if anything is missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case of damage to property.

1 JULY 2017 SATURDAY
00:31 CHARLO. A residence in Derbyshire Road was burgled; the owner confirmed that they were watching movies in the bedroom. She then proceeded to the bathroom when she saw the other bedroom light on. When she went into the bedroom she saw the window was broken and the cupboards were open. The owner can see two laptops, money, jewellery, an iPad, watches and money missing at this stage.
01:08 WALMER DOWNS. A residence in Alan Drive was burgled; the owner confirmed that she was woken up by a flashlight. She then walked through the house and saw the wind blowing the curtains. The window had been broken but there was no loss on site.
03:24 GREENBUSHES. A residence in Pennelsdrift Avenue was burgled; the suspects opened the garage window. They picked items out from the window but all goods were retrieved by response. The suspects got away with a wheelbarrow. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
03:27 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Louis Botha Cresent was burgled; the suspects broke the front lounge window to gain entry into the premises. Suspects took two cell-phones. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
03:54 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Beethoven Street was burgled; the suspects entered the complex and broke window on the right hand side of the premises. The owner can see a plasma TV and a constable rossouw missing at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
04:00 WINDVOGEL. A business in Bethelsdorp Road reported a fire on site. Response reported that they checked premises and there was a fire on site. SAPS were already on site. Response reported that the fire brigade is struggling to get in to the premises to put the fire out. Fire brigade will have to cut the roller door. Response withdrew from site.
05:22 DEAL PARTY. A business in Burman Road was burgled; the suspects got on to the roof from the left hand side of the warehouse. No indication of how the suspects go onto the roof. The owner can see no loss.
08:33 MIRAMAR. A residence in Newcombe Avenue was burgled; the suspects entered through the left hand side bedroom window. The owner can see a laptop missing from the safe at this stage. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
08:44 SUMMERSTRAND. A business in Avonmouth Crescent reported a positive theft incident; the suspects broke into their vehicle by breaking the passenger window. Suspects got away with the CD player. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
11:19 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admirality Way reported a medical emergency; one of the residents had a very high fever and was taken to hospital.
14:58 FOREST HILL. A non-atlas subscriber called in and notified us of a medical emergency in Heather Garden. Response arrived and was notified of a man that was laying at his front door in a puddle of blood, deceased. SAPS stood down and an ambulance service stood down.
19:09 MARKMAN INDUSTRIAL. A business in Buick Street reported an armed robbery; the suspects entered by jumping the back fence at the premises. The security guard was on patrol when they attacked him. One of the suspects was armed with a firearm. Suspects took the security guards cell-phone, panic button and torch. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
21:24 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Chlodea Crescent was burgled; the suspects entered through the main bedroom window and bent the burglar bars. The owner can see a laptop, plasma, play station 3, jewellery and her husband’s watch missing at this stage.
21:54 CLEARY PARK. A business in Stanford Road reported a trespassing incident; response reported that there was a group of people standing outside the club when they saw 3 youngsters trying to break into a car. They started shooting at them and they hit one suspect. The youngsters ran into the KFC and they group of males ran after them. Twelve SAPS vehicles and an ambulance service stood down.
