They then attacked the owner and stabbed her in the arm and neck. The suspects had locked the domestic in the bathroom while she was cleaning it. 03:08 MARKMAN TOWNSHIP. A business in Ranger Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects tried to steal cabling from one of the companies but the security officer pressed his panic. Suspects then went to the security officer and assaulted him.
08:23 NEWTON PARK. A business in Second Avenue was burgled; the suspects made a hole in the window on the left hand side to pull clothing through. The owner can only see clothing missing.

The owner identified the stolen goods and a case was opened.

01:11 DEAL PARTY. A business in Darby Road was burgled; the suspects bent the burglar bars and threw a rock through the window. The owner confirmed that his laptop is not in the office but further than that he cannot see anything else missing.
03:12 SOUTH END. A business in Victoria Park Drive reported an attempted burglary; the suspects forced two windows open and broke the plank between the windows. Burglar bars could not bend. No entry was gained into the premises. SAPS stood down and the owner is opening a case due to damage to the property.
03:59 SUMMERSTRAND. A business in Marine Drive was burgled; the suspects forced the security gate open and opened the latch and kicked in the double door. The suspects went down the passage and used a crow bar to force open the door leading to the offices. The owner can see two laptops missing at this stage.

00:52 FRAMESBY GARDENS. A residence in Dorfman Crescent reported a trespassing; the owner confirmed that the suspects jumped the wall. Suspects ran away.
01:04 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Brighton Drive reported an assault; the owner confirmed that she went outside for a smoke and that’s when she saw the suspect hiding behind the water tank. She shouted at the suspect and he stabbed her in the face.
01:19 FRAMESBY EXTENSION. A burglary was reported in Atlanta Crescent; the suspects broke the lounge window and took a laptop that was close to the window. SAPS arrested the suspect in the area after getting a description of the suspect.

16:21 KABEGA PARK. A residence in Great West Way was burgled; the suspects climbed over the front wall and forced the handle of the main bedroom window open. The suspects were only in the main bedroom. The owner can see no loss at this stage.
18:38 ST ALBANS. A business in Rietkuil Road reported an assault; the owner is 20 years of age was attacked by a male. The male threatened her with a panga but hit her with his hand in her face.

18 JULY 2018 WEDNESDAY
02:51 SIDWELL. A business in Herbert Street was burgled; the suspects forced open the roller door. The owner cannot see what is missing at this stage.
08:07 WESTERING. A burglary was reported in Van Wyk Street; the owner confirmed when she got home from the shop there was a male suspect standing in her driveway. The owner said he asked if she has a job for him and then ran away. When she got into the house she discovered the burglary; he had forced the spare bedroom window open and bent the burglar bars. Suspect ransacked the rooms and the office. The owner can see jewellery, box of R5 coins and a laptop missing at this stage.
12:47 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road reported an armed robbery; a male suspect armed with a firearm came out of the business. Response arrested the suspect and retrieved the firearm.
17:55 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Ninth Avenue reported a positive theft incident; the owners’ vehicle was stolen outside of the premises.
18:20 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road reported a positive theft incident; the suspect broke the left hand side passenger window of the customers’ vehicle. Suspect stole two cellphones.

02:25 FRAMESBY. A residence in Errol Drive reported that he approached two suspects in the street but they started running. Response caught the one suspect and cuffed him. The suspect admitted that they were looking for a place to break into. SAPS stood down and took the suspect to the Police to see if he is wanted for anything.
06:21 SHERWOOD. A residence in Buffalo Street was burgled; the owner is not sure how the suspect gained entry as there is no force marks or a visible entry point. Suspect packed all the power tools together, but the suspect got scared away by the owner. SAPS stood down and owner opened a case.
07:59 THEESECOMBE. A residence in Kragga Kamma Road reported a house robbery; the owner woke up this morning and there were five suspects on site. One suspect was armed with a firearm and the other two suspects armed with knives. Suspects took a flat screen TV, 2 cellphones and a pair of Nike sneakers. As per the response the suspects cut and bent the electric fence and entered via the front door as there are force marks. Suspects locked the owners’ inside the house and left with the keys.
12:41 CENTRAL. An attempted hijacking was reported in Albany Road; response reported that a technician stopped a suspect from hijacking a vehicle. The suspect ran away into an alleyway. The suspect left his cellphone behind. Response went to go look for the suspect but he was not found.

00:33 WALMER. A residence in Villiers Road reported a house robbery; the suspects entered the premises and got into a struggle with the owner. The owner was stabbed during the struggle. SAPS already took over the scene.

The suspect had a bunch of keys with him, seems like he was trying to open the pad lock. SAPS stood down and took the suspect away.
05:35 KABEGA PARK. An attempted burglary was reported in Charlton Place; the suspects entered the complex at the back by the bushes. Suspects broke into the clients’ Hilux bakkie by breaking the passenger side window. Suspects stole the clients’ laptop but the laptop was recovered in the yard.

The owner left the laptop bag laying on the floor and the tools. Suspects kicked the door down and went through to the office and asked the owner where the money was. The suspects grabbed the laptop bag with the money and a laptop in and fled the scene.

The suspects went to the bathroom and forced the owners’ wife to the lounge where the owner was with the other suspect. The suspects ransacked the house. An undisclosed amount of money, a laptop, watches and jewellery were reported missing. Suspects fled the scene in two different directions.
20:42 BLUEWATER BAY. A residence in Zephyer Avenue was burgled; the suspects forced the sliding door open. They ran upstairs and took a piano keyboard and a plasma TV. The suspects fled the scene.
22:24 DEAL PARTY. A business in Stanbridge Street reported an armed robbery; two suspects stabbed the security guard in the chest and robbed him of his cellphone before fleeing the scene. Response reported that he patched and cleaned the wound up as it was not a deep wound.

02:04 WALMER. A residence in Water Road reported a house robbery; the suspects entered through the door at the patio and proceeded to the owners’ bedroom. Three suspects all armed with knives as per the owner. The owner got into a fight with the suspects and they smacked him over the head. The paramedics stood down and treated the client.
06:00 NEWTON PARK. A business in Mangold Street was burgled; the suspects attempted to break in by the front left hand side top window. The burglar bars was still intact.
09:14 LORRAINE. A burglary was reported in Crozant Road; the suspects broke in by the kitchen door with no security gate. Client was sleeping through the whole break in. Suspects ransacked the whole house. The owner can see a small items missing, like cellphones, jewellery and money. SAPS stood down and client opened a case.

04:13 STRELITZIA PARK. A house robbery was reported in Katjiepiering; the suspects entered by the side door on the right hand side of the driveway. The owner heard the noise and went to investigate. The one suspect pointed a firearm at the client. No injuries on site, client was just in shock. SAPS stood down and client opened a case.

10:13 RICHMOND HILL. A business in Edward Street reported a positive theft incident; the owners’ vehicle was standing outside, in front of the premises. Suspects broke the owners’ left hand side passenger window and stole a dongle.

05:25 DEAL PARTY. A business in Burman Road was burgled; the suspects entered by the two right hand side gates from the street side. Suspects broke the office window and forced open the burglar bars. Client can see 3 computers screens and 2 towers missing at this stage.
05:48 NEWTON PARK. A business in Worraker Street was burgled; the suspects forced open the gate and the front door. Suspects ransacked the premises. Client can see a laptop missing at this stage. Suspects disconnected the CCTV cameras.

06:07 ROWALLAN PARK. A residence in Brampton Avenue was burgled; the suspects broke the back kitchen window but did not enter. Suspects proceeded to the roof where they removed roof tiles. Suspects then cut the alarm wires. No loss to premises as the house is empty.
11:32 NEWTON PARK. A business in Fifth Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the second window at the back had force marks, no entry was gained.
12:50 LINKSIDE. A residence in Bibury Avenue reported a positive theft incident; the owner confirmed that the domestic stole her jewellery. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.

01:25 SYDENHAM. A business in Neil Boss Street was burgled; the suspects broke in by the front window which was next to the front door by breaking the window and bending the burglar bars. Suspects stole cash float and a microwave.
01:35 SALISBURY PARK. A residence in Lucy Maher Street reported a hijacking incident; the owner confirmed that he got into a bar fight and was kicked out. He was under the influence and gave someone a lift but he cannot remember who. The male that he was giving a lift to pulled up the handbrake by William Moffat and kicked the owner out of his car. The male suspect got away with the client VW Up. SAPS stood down and the owner opened a case.
08:41 CENTRAL. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue reported an attempted theft incident; the suspects jumped the fence and started stripping the aircon. No entry was gained into the premises.
14:00 CENTRAL. A business in Albany Road was burgled; the suspects entered by the machine shed. The owner confirmed that the window was never repaired from the last break in. Suspects removed the burglar bars. The owner can see a weed eater and a ladder missing at this stage.

03:06 NEWTON PARK. A business in Third Avenue reported an attempted theft incident; the suspects tried to steal a gate motor and the chain of the gate has also been stolen.
08:03 CHELSEA. A residence in Chelsea Road was burgled; the suspects cut the electric fence on the left hand side of the main entrance and entered the property. Suspects forced open the kitchen window and entered the premises. Suspects ransacked the entire premises. The owner can see a 50″ plasma TV, laptop, printer, alcohol, clothing and plenty of small items missing at this stage.
09:15 WESTERING. A residence in Deborah Street reported a positive theft incident; the owner confirmed that there was people staying on site and they locked the gate and returned later and stole a fridge and a press drill. The owner was standing by for SAPS to open a case.

01:34 DESPATCH. A residence in Sarel Cilliers Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects kicked in the bottom section of the kitchen door and gained entry. As per the owner nothing has been taken. Response apprehended a suspect in Kerk Street. SAPS stood down and the suspect got handed over to SAPS.
02:59 DESPATCH. A business in Main Street was burgled; the suspects gained entry by the back door by forcing it open and forcing the interleading door open. The owner can see a keyboard missing. SAPS stood down.
07:36 SPRINGFIELD. A residence in Benno Road reported an attempted burglary; the owner confirms that he and his wife went for a walk and when they returned they noticed the storeroom latch had force marks on. Suspects never managed to open the door, the latch and door is just damaged.

04:11 UITENHAGE. A residence in Verbena Street was burgled; the suspects broke the left bedroom window from the front and entered. The owner can see a laptop, cellphone, wallet and cigarettes missing at this stage.
14:04 LINTON GRANGE. A burglary was reported in Salvia Crescent; the suspects broke a window at the back which had no burglar bars. Suspects stole the geyser. The neighbour confirmed that the SAPS were on site and left.

17:27 KORSTEN. A business in Kempston Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects broke a top window and bent the burglar bars but no entry was gained.
18:30 KORSTEN. A business in Kempston Road reported a medical; two males were at the ATM when they were approached by an unknown amount of guys and were forced to withdraw all their money. The suspects stabbed one lady. They then ran away but the one suspect with the knife was caught. SAPS stood down and arrested the suspect.
