03:24 DEAL PARTY. Suspects entered into a Grahamstown Road business after bending the burglar bars and kicking down the door. A toolbox was reported stolen. The Police arrived at the scene, but the owner did not open a case.
07:15 WALMER. Atlas Response reported that they met with the security guard on site at business premises in Schoenmakerskop Road. Intruders tried to stab him in the shoulder. They fled on foot after taking a cell phone and unknown amount of money. The Ambulance transported the injured security guard to hospital.
07:35 WALMER. A Prospect Road homeowner reported that suspects smashed the lounge window in an attempt to gain entry. They then tried to open a window, but were scared off by the owner. No entry was gained and no loss reported. A case was opened with the Police.
08:23 CHARLO. It was reported that a Liverpool Road resident who was suffering from pneumonia was declared deceased by the Paramedics. The necessary parties attended to the incident.
14:15 PARSONS HILL. Atlas Response caught a suspect in the yard of a Tucker Street residence. The man reported that he was looking for a drink of water. The Police transported him to the Police station.

30 July 2016 Saturday
02:13 DEAL PARTY. Intruders gained entry into the yard of a Burman Road business and smashed a window at the store room. Two computers, a laptop and power bank were reported stolen.
02:46 DEAL PARTY. Burglars entered into a Grahamstown Road business via the roof of the canteen. No loss was reported. The Police arrived at the site and a case was opened.
03:15 SIDWELL. Intruders damaged the palisade fencing of business premises in Relton Street by burning it and bent the burglar bars. However, no entry was gained and no loss reported.
04:45 MANGOLD PARK. It was reported that suspects entered into a fitness centre in William Moffat Expressway via one of the bathroom windows. A TV was recovered in the alley way. Three suspects were involved in the burglary, one of whom was arrested by Atlas Response. He was handed over to the Police.
06:20 CENTRAL. Atlas Response was notified of two suspects who broke into a church in Prospect Hill. On investigation one of the men reported that he was in need of spiritual guidance. The Police arrived at the scene and a case was opened.
07:07 NEWTON PARK. It was reported that burglars entered into a Burt Drive business after smashing a window. A flat screen TV was reported stolen. The business owner waited for the Police to arrive at the scene to open a case.
10:54 MOUNT CROIX. Burglars entered into the yard of a Carlisle Avenue home after jumping over the fence. He then threw a brick through the glass door at the swimming pool area and entered. Several pairs of running shoes and a bicycle were reported stolen. The owner opened a case with the Police.
12:45 DEAL PARTY. Atlas Response reported that the barbed wire at business premises in Grahamstown Road was cut and entry gained. Metal and a bag of aluminium were recovered and handed back to the owner.
15:10 MILL PARK. It was reported that a suspect entered into a business in Cape Road and hid inside the building while they were closing up. The alarm was armed and it activated when she tried to get out. It was reported that she attempted to steal a laptop, food and alcohol. Atlas Response arrested the woman and a case was opened with the Police.
20:13 WESTERING. A Boschoff Street homeowner reported that on return to his home he discovered that the door had been standing open. No entry was gained and no loss reported.
20:26 CENTRAL. Suspects gained entry into the yard of a Campbell Street home after climbing over the gate in the alley way. The front door was broken and entry gained into the house. A plasma TV, Playstation and tablet were reported stolen. Atlas Response recovered the plasma TV. The Police arrived at the scene and a case was opened.
21:57 DEAL PARTY. Atlas Response met with the security guard on duty at premises in Burman Road. He reported that four suspects arrived in a vehicle and robbed the guards of their personal belongings. No injures were endured and no entry gained into the building. The Police arrived and a case was opened.

29 July 2016 Friday
02:07 PERSEVERANCE. A business in Kurland Road was burgled. The suspects broke the padlock on the gate and kicked in the wooden door. A printer was retrieved in the yard.
02:39 SIDWELL. It was reported that burglars entered into a Rundle Street business via the roof. No loss was reported. The owner would have reported the incident to the Police the next morning.
02:48 SYDENHAM. A vehicle filled up with diesel at a filling station in Uitenhage Road and drove off without paying. The incident was not reported to the Police.
03:06 GREENBUSHES. A Waterkloof Road business owner reported that a member of the public entered into the shop and took goods without paying for it. The man was arrested by the Police.
03:11 LINTON GRANGE. Intruders broke the padlock off the door and forced open the security gate of business premises in Cape Road and entered. The alarm keypad was reported stolen.
05:01 CENTRAL. Burglars climbed onto the burglars bars at premises in Lawrence Street and smashed a window. They entered into the building, but took off as soon as the alarm activated. No loss was reported. The owner waited for the Police to arrive at the scene.
05:47 FERNGLEN. Domestic violence was reported taking place at a residence in Glendale Road. The Police attended to the incident.
06:38 SIDWELL. It was reported that an electrical box had been tampered with at premises in Commercial Road. The owner waited for the Police to arrive at the site.
08:09 WALMER. A Fordyce Road homeowner was attacked by a suspect after opening the door for the man. The injured resident was taken to hospital by ambulance.
09:21 SHERWOOD. It was reported that a Caledon Street resident suffered a stroke. The man was transported to hospital by ambulance.
09:28 GREENACRES. An armed robbery took place at a business in Ring Road. Six suspects, two armed with firearms, entered into the business and stole items of jewellery. Five suspects were arrested and the stolen jewellery recovered. A member of the public was shot during the incident. The Police attended to the incident.
12:08 FAIRVIEW. Intruders entered into a Cottonwood Crescent home via the lounge window. A plasma TV, laptop and X-Box were reported stolen. The Police arrived at the scene and a case was opened with the Police.
14:08 MILL PARK. A Cape Road business owner witnessed suspects tampering with the door at a neighbouring premise. Atlas Response arrested two suspects. The Police arrived and a case was opened.
15:18 NEWTON PARK. It was reported that a vehicle parked outside a business in Newton Street had been stolen. The Police arrived at the scene and a case was opened.
16:54 HUMEWOOD. It was reported that a member of the public was choking on her food at premises in La Roche Drive. There was no need for the Paramedics to attend as the woman was stable and breathing.
18:33 RICHMOND HILL. Burglars entered into a Hunt Street residence and disarmed the alarm at the bar area. Several bottles of alcohol were reported stolen. A case was opened with the Police.
20:46 SOUTH END. Atlas Response received information of an armed robbery taking place at a business in Webber Street. Four armed suspects entered into the building and assaulted the owner. He endured injuries to his hand and ankle. An undisclosed amount of money and cartons of cigarettes were reported stolen. The Police attended to the incident.
22:11 BROADWOOD. Burglars removed the lounge window of premises in Ruanne Street and kicked in the burglar bars. A plasma TV was reported stolen. The client was going to open a case in the morning as the Police did not arrive at the scene.

04:15 MORNINGSIDE. A residence in Groendal Road was burgled. The suspects forced open the back garage door and stole the radio out of the vehicle.
04:37 MORNINGSIDE. A residence in Groendal Avenue had an attempted burglary. The suspects forced open the garage door and smashed the window of the vehicle.
04:40 MORNINGSIDE. A Groendal Road homeowner reported that he saw suspects in his yard. Fortunately no entyr was gained.
07:14 MARKMAN. A business in Chevrolet Street was burgled. The suspects bent the palisade fencing and forced open the roller door.
08:18 NORTH END. A business in Elizabeth Street was burgled. The suspects smashed the window and forced open the burglar bars. A step ladder and other goods were stolen.
13:00 LORRAINE. A business in Arlette Street was burgled. The suspects smashed the bedroom window and kicked in the burglar bars.
23:52 GEDULDSRIVIER. A residence in St Albans Road was burgled. The suspects smashed two front windows and gained entry. Some of the stolen goods were retrieved in the yard.


27 July 2016 Wednesday

01:19 SUNRIDGE PARK. It was reported that a member of the public was approached by suspects while drawing money from an ATM at premises in Kragga Kamma Road. The man was robbed of this cell phone, money and vehicle keys. The thugs drove off in the man’s vehicle. The incident was reported to the Police.
01:40 CHARLO. An incident of domestic violence was reported taking place in Matthew Street.
08:39 NORTH END. A business in Adcock Street was burgled. The suspects forced open the window and bent the burglar bars. They gained entry and stole cell phones.
13:03 WALMER. A residence in Water Road was burgled. The suspects gained entry via the front gate and the sliding door. The owner saw the suspect in the passage while he stole the computer screen and two bags.
23:14 WALMER. A residence in Heugh Road was burgled. The suspects used a brick to smash the glass front door and removed the burglar bars. Entry was gained and valuables were stolen.
23:25 RICHMOND HILL. Thieves stole four tyres from a motor vehicle parked in Sherlock Street.

26 July 2016 Tuesday
02:44 WALMER HEIGHTS. A suspect was seen trying to break into the garage of a residence in Idlewylde Crescent. Bags containing clothing, hacksaw blades, pliers and a hacksaw were recovered and handed over to the Police.
03:40 CENTRAL. It was reported that the security gate at the front of a business in Havelock Street was cut and the door removed. A white bakkie was seen driving from the premises.
07:25 FERNGLEN. A Thames Road homeowner reported that the wheels were stolen off his vehicle during the night. A case was opened with the Police.
09:15 NEWTON PARK. Criminals removed the roof sheeting at the store room of business premises in West Street. Four suspects were recorded on CCTV footage stealing various food items. A case was opened with the Police.
22:33 SUMMERSTRAND. A woman suffered an asthma attack at premises in Bognor Street. The woman refused to be taken to hospital.

25 July 2016 Monday
03:27 SUMMERSTRAND. A case of domestic violence was reported taking place at premises in Brighton Drive. The Police attended to the incident.
03:34 CENTRAL. Burglars attempted to gain entry into a Rose Street business by smashing a window. No loss was reported.
04:16 NEAVE TOWNSHIP. Criminals entered into the yard of a Lindsay Road business and made a hole in the roof at the warehouse. A window at the reception area was smashed and entry gained. Two plasma screens were reported stolen. The Police arrived at the scene and a case was opened.
05:40 SIDWELL. A Fearick Street business owner reported that the lock had been cut off the gate, but no entry was gained.
08:06 STRUANDALE. A break-in took place at business premises in Kwaford Road. Entry was gained via the roof. Plasmas TV’s were reported stolen. The incident was reported to the Police.
11:40 WALMER. A Heugh Road business was burgled by criminals who forced open the kitchen door at the back of the building. Several items including handbags and leather were reported stolen. A case was opened with the Police.
12:59 LORRAINE. Atlas Response assisted a woman who collapsed at premises in Courcelles Street. The Paramedics attended to the woman’s injuries.
18:21 CENTRAL. It was reported that groceries were stolen from premises in Rink Street. The security guard on site caught the thief and a case was opened with the Police.
19:05 HUMEWOOD EXTENSION. A medical incident took place at a residence in Woodhead Drive. Paramedics attended to the incident.
19:12 WALMER. An employee at a business in Eighth Avenue collapsed after experiencing a bout of dizziness. The woman was transported to hospital by ambulance.

00:20 W ALMER HEIGHTS. Criminals removed the kitchen window of a Sibelius Street residence and entered. Jewellery items were reported stolen.
00:48 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A Pheasant Road homeowner reported that it seemed like someone had trespassed into the yard. Atlas Response could not find anybody.
02:25 CENTRAL. It was reported that a Gordon Terrace residence was burgled. It could not be determined if anything was stolen. The Police arrived at the premises, but no case was opened.
03:08 PROVIDENTIA. A Twenty Seventh Avenue homeowner reported waking up after hearing noises outside. Suspects were trying to gain entry into the house at the front door and also tried breaking into a vehicle. They fled as soon as the Police arrived at the scene.
02:58 CENTRAL. It was reported that burglars entered into premises in Havelock Street via a door that had been left open. A plasma TV was reported stolen. The criminals were caught and arrested.
04:16 SIDWELL. Suspects entered into the yard of a Sutton Road business after removing a slab from the vibracrete wall. Loss could not be determined. A case was opened with the Police.
04:39 HUMEWOOD. Atlas Response reported finding an injured man in La Roche Drive. The man had endured cuts to his eye and was transported to hospital.
11:50 WALMER. A Twelfth Avenue homeowner reported that suspects forced open the window and sliding door of the house and gained entry. Loss was not confirmed. The owner did not open a case with the Police.
12:49 WALMER. A Church Road resident reported that her husband was assaulted in Ninth Avenue while out walking. The man was taken to hospital.
13:36 NEAVE TOWNSHIP. Criminals smashed the window of a Johnson Street business and gained entry. No loss was reported.
14:02 SUMMERSTRAND. Burglars gained entry into a Southport Road home after removing a window. The bedroom was ransacked and the safe containing a firearm and an undisclosed amount of money was forced open. A case was opened with the Police.
17:26 KABEGA PARK. It was reported that a member of the public was robbed of his cell phone at business premises in Terrace Avenue. The Police attended to the incident.
20:13 NEWTON PARK. It was reported that a hose pipe was stolen from business premises in Pickering Street.
21:49 PROVIDENTIA. A burglary took place at premises in Blumberg Road. The main bedroom was the point of entry. A safe was reported stolen. The Police attended to the incident.
22:18 KENSINGTON. Atlas Response received information of a break in that took place at premises in Cowlin Street. The front door of the building was forced open and entry gained. The Police arrested the suspects and confiscated their vehicle. Loss was not confirmed.

00:08 LORRAINE. It was reported that a suspects trespassed into the yard of a Verdun Road residence. No entry was gained and no loss reported.
00:39 LORRAINE. A burglary took place at premises in Verdun Road. The window was removed, but loss not confirmed.
00:49 LORRAINE. A Metz Avenue resident reported that suspects entered into the house via the lounge window while they were asleep inside. It could not be confirmed if anything had been stolen. A case was opened with the Police.
01:07 SUMMERSTRAND. Intruders used a brick to smash the window of an Admiralty Way residence and entry was gained. Loss could not be confirmed.
02:11 BROADWOOD. A Nathan Street homeowner reported that suspects entered into the yard of the residence. Atlas Response could not find anyone in the yard.
03:02 LORRAINE. Burglars removed the window pane and window of a residence in Macon Road and gained entry. Several personal items were reported stolen. No case was opened with the Police.
04:08 LORRAINE. A Courcelles Street resident reported that intruders smashed a window at the premises. No entry was gained and no loss reported.
03:57 WALMER HEIGHTS. It was reported that criminals removed the burglar bars of a Titian Road home and removed a computer screen through the window. The screen was recovered in the yard. Atlas Response reported hearing gunshots nearby and on investigation found that the Police had arrested three suspects hiding in the bushes. A case was opened with the Police.
05:39 NORTH END. Intruders jumped over the security gate into the yard of a Swartkops Street home. They unscrewed the burglar bars, forced it open and smashed a window. Entry was gained and several good reported stolen.
06:41 DEAL PARTY. Atlas Response met with the security guard on site at premises in Burman Road. He witnessed a suspect kicking open a door of one of the storerooms. No entry was gained.
09:00 SIDWELL. It was reported that suspects damaged the wires of the electrical box at premises in Fearick Street. The roof sheeting was moved, but no entry gained into the building. Loss was not confirmed.
09:28 CENTRAL. An armed robbery was reported taking place at premises in Govan Mbeki Avenue. The Police attended to the incident. No injuries were endured and no loss reported.
11:55 WESTERING. Intruders removed the lock from the security gate and premises in Summerville Avenue and entered into the yard. No entry was gained into the house.
12:26 NORTH END. Atlas Response was informed of an altercation that took place at premises in Grahamstown Road. The incident was reported to be gang-related. The Police attended to the incident.
14:05 KRAGGA KAMMA. It was reported that a member of the public driving a blue vehicle filled up with petrol at a filling station in Kragga Kamma Road and drove off without paying.
21:17 COTSWOLD. The window of a Cape Road business was smashed, but no entry gained.
23:24 WALMER HEIGHTS. A Sibelius Street homeowner reported footprints in the yard of the premises. The suspect was seen jumping into the yard of the neighbouring premises.
23:40 PERSEVERANCE. Atlas Response reported suspects loading copper cables into a white bakkie at premises in Makepeace Crescent. Two security guards were also involved in the incident. The Police attended to the incident.

06:56 CENTRAL. A medical incident was reported taking place at premises in Upperhill Street. Paramedics attended to the incident.
11:00 SUMMERSTRAND. Atlas Response assisted a Seventh Avenue resident who was struggling to breathe. Paramedics established that the man had suffered a heart attack and was transported to hospital.
12:21 CENTRAL. A woman was robbed of her hand bag and tablet while walking in Havelock Street. She was approached by suspects in a black vehicle. The woman did not indicate if she was going to report the incident to the Police.
13:21 ST GEORGES PARK. A medical incident took place at premises in Park Drive. Paramedics attended to the incident.
13:38 SCHOENMAKERSKOP. It was reported that intruders gained entry into a Marine Drive premises after kicking in the burglar bars of a window that had been left slightly open. They also made a hole in the roof and damaged the alarm system. No loss was reported. A case was opened with the Police.
16:08 STRUANDALE. It was reported that a man was robbed of his cell phone and a unknown amount of money while off-loading his bakkie at premises in Struanway.
16:19 ALGOA PARK. A case of domestic violence was reported taking place at premises in Silveroaks Street.

21:04 SIDWELL. It was reported that intruders bent the wires of the fence at premises in Sutton Road and gained entry into the yard. Electrical wires were removed from the outside of the building.

03:53 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road had an attempted burglary. The suspects tried to break through the store room door. No entry was gained.
06:36 SIDWELL. Atlas Response was informed of suspects who entered into the yard of a Kempston Road business by jumping over the fence. A staff member at the premises was attacked by the intruders and was stabbed in her hand. The woman was robbed of her handbag and a watch. The Police attended to the incident.
07:37 SUMMERSTRAND. It was reported that an altercation took place between employees of a Marine Drive service station. The incident was reported to the Police.
20:24 CENTRAL. Intruders entered into premises in Albany Road after smashing a window without any burglar bars. A CCTV camera was reported stolen. A case was opened with the Police.
23:07 CENTRAL. It was reported that a woman was stabbed at premises in Western Road. Atlas Response assisted the woman with the injuries she had endured. The incident was not reported to the Police.

20 July 2016 Wednesday
05:36 NORTH END. A business in Reed Street was burgled. The suspects smashed a small window on the left hand side and removed the burglar bars. A computer tower was stolen.
06:07 FRAMESBY. A medical emergency took place at a residence in Jason Street. Gardmed arrived and transported the owner to the hospital.
06:39 DESPATCH. Two thieves tried to rob the passengers on a bus in Main Road. Fortunately the Police managed to arrest both of them.
08:35 WALMER. A residence in Water Road was burgled. The suspects smashed the front window and ripped out the burglar bars. Jewellery was stolen.
09:39 WALMER. A residence in Fourteenth Avenue was burgled. The suspects opened the latch of the spare bedroom window and gained entry. A camera and other valuables were stolen.
11:11 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Galpin Road was burgled. The suspects made a hole in the roof and gained entry into the bedroom A TV was stolen.
13:04 SIDWELL. A member of the public was hijacked outside a shop in Gayer Street. The suspects gun pointed the driver of a silver Corsa bakkie and drove off with the vehicle.

16:01 HUMEWOOD EXTENSION. A medical emergency took place in Woodhead Drive. An elderly lady fell and passed out. Gardmed transported her to the hospital.

19 July 2016 Tuesday
05:48 NORTH END. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue was burgled. The suspects smashed the window on the second floor. A Plasma screen, TV and takkies were retrieved in the yard.
07:05 CENTRAL. A business in Strand Street was burgled. The suspects ripped the wiring inside the building.
08:56 MILL PARK. Thieves stole paint from a residence in King Georges Road. The suspects removed the paint from the store room sometime during the night.
10:50 WALMER. Two males were trespassing in the yard of a residence in Main Road. They refused to leave the property. Atlas Response Officers escorted them out of the area.
11:52 HUMEWOOD EXTENSION. A medical emergency took place at a residence in Woodhead Drive. The resident fainted.
15:31 NORTH END. A thief tried to steal break into a motor vehicle parked at a business in Bagshaw Street. He also tried to steal the BMW badge on the vehicle.

18 July 2016 Monday
00:17 GREENBUSHES. It was reported that suspects damaged one of the intruder detector beams at premises in Mission Road.
01:38 WALMER. Atlas Response was informed of a hole that was made in the wall of a Main Road business. Entry was gained into the yard, but no entry gained into the building. The suspects returned for a second time to try and gain entry, but were not successful.
05:31 CENTRAL. Intruders gained entry into a Govan Mbeki Avenue business after forcing open the roller shutter door and smashing a window. Atlas Response arrested a suspect and recovered all of the stolen goods. The Police further attended to the incident.
07:00 WALMER. Criminals used a brick to smash the window of a Heugh Road business, but no entry was gained. When the beams activated the suspect fled on foot. The owner waited for the Police to arrive at the scene.
07:03 NORTH END. The burglar bars and a window of a Bellgrove Street business were forced open by intruders in an attempt to gain entry. Entry was gained into the office area via the roof. Several items including a first aid kit, fire extinguishers a camera and unknown amount of money were reported stolen. The owner opened a case with the Police.
07:54 CENTRAL. Intruders gained entry into a Deare Street business via the roof and entered into the office area where they damaged the alarm system. An unknown amount of money was reported stolen. A case was opened with the Police.
08:02 DESPATCH. Criminals entered into the yard of a Graham Bell business and stole batteries from the forklifts parked on site.
11:35 FAIRVIEW. The front door of a Willowgrove Street home was forced open and entry gained. No loss was reported. The owner opted not to open a case with the Police.
12:50 FAIRVIEW. Intruders kicked in the front door of a Ben Schoeman Road home and forced open the security gate. A plasma TV, laptops and a rifle were reported stolen. The owner opened a case with the Police.
14:44 KENSINGTON. Atlas Response was informed of an armed robbery that took place at a shop in Buxton Avenue. Four armed suspects were seen jumping into a bakkie and fleeing from the scene.

03:48 SOUTH END. Atlas Response was informed of an attempted hijacking that took place in Gladstone Street. One of the residents was followed to her home and when she arrived a suspect knocked on the window with a firearm. The suspect ran off and got away in a blue vehicle. The same vehicle was later spotted in Parliament Street.
04:02 NORTH END. Criminals gained entry into the warehouse of a Roberts Street business after removing the security gate and forcing open a door. The alarm system was damaged, but further loss could not be confirmed. The owner of the business was going to report the incident at the Police station.
05:41 HUNTERS RETREAT. Burglars attempted to gain entry into a Cape Road business after forcing the front door open. The security gate remained intact. No entry was gained.
07:56 PERSEVERANCE. It was reported that criminals entered into a Makepeace Crescent business via the back door. Computer equipment was stolen. A case was opened with the Police.
08:39 YOUNG PARK. It was reported that copper brackets were stolen from the sport field at premises in Ditchling Street. A case was opened with the Police.
12:38 BROADWOOD. A Barney Road homeowner reported that suspects entered into the house via the roof. The sliding door was removed and a revolver stolen from site. A case was opened with the Police.
13:20 LORRAINE. Burglars gained entry into a Dijon Road home via the roof and forced open the lounge window and burglar bars. Several items including laptops and jewellery were reported stolen. The incident was reported to the Police.
15:16 WALMER. Atlas Response met with a Villiers Road homeowner after he reported a hole in the wall of the boundary wall of the residence. The Response Officer caught the suspect in Main Road.
20:32 KENSINGTON. It was reported that a suspect stole several small items from a shop in Harrower Road.

16 July 2016 Saturday
01:34 SUMMERSTRAND. A student residing at premises in Gomery Avenue reported that three suspects attempted to force open a window. No entry was gained and no loss reported.
04:06 MOUNT PLEASANT. Intruders used a brick to smash the lounge window of a Rhodes Street residence. A laptop and Playstation were reported stolen. A case was opened with the Police.
05:16 GREENACRES. The entrance gate of a complex in Rochelle Road was moved off its rails by intruders who entered and then proceeded to one of the units where they gained entry via the sliding door. 03:19 CENTRAL. It was reported that suspects gained entry into one of the classrooms at an educational institution in Park Drive after smashing a glass door. Loss was not confirmed. The incident would have been reported to the Police at a later stage.

19:51 KENSINGTON. It was reported that two suspects, one armed with a firearm, entered into a business in Harrower Road. When the owner handed a packet of cigarettes over to the one suspect he pointed his gun at him, but then fled on foot. The owner did not report the incident to the Police.
20:41 KORSTEN. It was reported that criminals cut the fence at business premises in Essex Street and entered into the yard. They forced open the burglar bars and entered the building. Crates containing cool drinks were reported stolen. The Police arrived at the scene, but the owner did not open a case.
20:07 DEAL PARTY. Burglars entered into a Grahamstown Road business by making a hole in the wall. Atlas Response found two suspects hiding in the roof of the building. One of the suspects jumped back into the building and ran away. The other was arrested and handed over to the Police.
22:19 DEAL PARTY. A suspect was found in the yard of the same Grahamstown Road business that was previously burgled. The dog unit searched the building, but nothing suspicious was found. The incident was linked to the burglary that took place earlier.

01:38 CHARLO. A house robbery took place in Bayly Street while the residents were asleep inside. Three armed robbers wearing balaclavas entered into the house after kicking in the burglar bars of a window that had been standing open. The owners were tied up with electrical wires whilst the intruders searched the house for valuables. The criminals exited the house via the front door and fled in a silver vehicle. Several items including laptops, cell phones and jewellery were stolen. The vehicle was recovered by the Police in Sasasonke Village. A case was opened with the Police.
03:26 DEAL PARTY. The security guard on site at premises in Adolf Street reported that the fence at the entrance gate was cut. No entry was gained into the yard. The incident was not reported to the Police.
