They gained entry into a premises by opening the sliding door that was unlocked. They stole a laptop, video box, three cell-phones, jewellery and two wallets. The owner opened a case with SAPS.
05:39 SIDWELL. A business in Haupt Street was burgled; response reported that the suspects smashed the small window and kicked the burglar bars in. Entry was gained into the office. The owner is missing power tools.
07:07 NORTH END. A business in Brassel Street was burgled; response reported that the back alley side of the window had been smashed. The window was forced open and entry was gained. The owner is missing power tools.
07:32 SUNRIDGE PARK. A residence in Lily Avenue reported a positive theft incident; the suspect gained entry into the flatlet. They forced the window open and kicked the burglar bars in at the premises. Suspects stole copper pipes from site.
11:54 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Summerwood Crescent was burgled; the suspects broke the small bedroom window and gained entry. Suspects stole a computer tower, a monitor and an external hard drive.

A residence in Richardson Road reported a positive theft incident; a member of the public notified the owner that a bag of clothes was lying outside his premises that is when he noticed that theft had taken place. 02:02 CHELSEA. A residence in Old Seaview Road was burgled; the suspects forced the main bedroom window open and entered. The owner saw the flashlight and managed to hide underneath the bed. She is missing jewellery, clothes and food. A case was opened with SAPS.
07:02 WALMER. A business in Ninth Avenue was burgled; the suspects broke the window. They stole a laptop through the window. SAPS opened a case with the owner.

00:30 MILL PARK. A residence in Mortimer Road reported a trespassing incident; response reported that he met up with the owner. He confirmed that he saw someone at the front door. The owner shouted at the suspect and he ran away.
02:15 SEAVIEW. A residence in Main Road called in and reported a burglary; the suspects opened the front left hand side window and entered. The owner heard the noises and he went to check on it. He fired one shot towards the suspect but the owner is not sure if he shot the suspect. He can see a bottle of wine and a cell-phone missing.
02:47 DEAL PARTY. A business in Burman Road reported an arrest; response reported that he had 3 suspects in the bush and the others ran towards the filling station. SAPS will release the suspects as they did not break in anywhere.
04:41 NORTH END. A business in Edgar Lane reported an attempted burglary; the suspects gained entry through the roof. The owner found a whole tin of 5L paint on the roof.
