07:06 CENTRAL. A business in Western Road reported an armed robbery; three males entered the premises armed with knives. Suspects stole two cellphones, a cordless phone, an undisclosed amount of cigarettes and cash.

07:43 SIDWELL. A business in Strang Street was burgled; the suspect gained access by lifting the roof sheeting. They stole electrical cables.

29 APRIL 2019 MONDAY

02:11 ALGOA PARK. A business in St Leonards Street was burgled; the suspects switched off the power using the outside trip box. They forced the bottom part of the stable door open. No loss to premises.

02:46 UITENHAGE. A residence in Molopo Street Winterhoek Park was burgled; the suspects entered through an open window by the flatlet area. The owner can see a cellphone missing.

03:31 WALMER. A business in Heugh Road was burgled; the suspects smashed the showroom window on the left hand side. The owner can see a two motorcycles missing.

07:43 NORTH END. A business in Grahamstown Road was burgled; the suspects smashed a window at the back outbuilding. Suspects stuck their hands through the window to steal metal clamps and welders.

08:17 ST ALBANS. A business in St Albans Link Road was burgled; the suspects entered at the back by forcing the security gate open. Suspects damaged a lot of pipes and pulled the wires out of the alarm. The owner can see eight computer boxes, six screens and a Lenovo laptop missing.

10:00 SHERWOOD.  A residence in Canton Close reported a burglary; the suspects broke the back bathroom window. Suspects were arrested.

11:55 ROCKLANDS. A murder was reported in Rocky Ridge; we were notified of a murder. On arrival the owner had injuries to his head and firearms had been stolen.

13:48 REDHOUSE. A business in Carden Street was burgled; the suspects gained entry by removing the window putty from the frame. The owner can see a Samsung TV missing.

15:39 FERNGLEN. A residence in Buckland Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the suspects damaged the door. Suspects did not gain entry.

22:46 LORRAINE. A residence in Vosges Avenue reported a medical; the owner is 5 months pregnant and that she is a asthmatic and have been struggling with flu for the past week.Client was transported to hospital.

23:11 NEWTON PARK. A residence in Pickering Street reported a medical; the resident confirmed that her wound started bleeding. She changed the bandages and all was fine.

09:05 PARSONS HILL.A business in Conyngham Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspect smashed the back window of the premises. The owner did not see anything missing. No loss to premises.

09:52 CENTRAL. A mugging was reported in Callington Street; a lady was on her way to work when she tried to leave her premises four males mugged her. Suspects got away with her handbag.

18:52 DESPATCH. A business in Amberbo Street Heuwelkruin reported a vandalism incident; at the back of the fence there is a hole and two doors were open.

19:20 WALMER. A business in Heugh Road reported an armed robbery; three suspects entered the premises, one carrying a firearm and one had a balaclava on. The suspects went straight to the cashier and took an undisclosed amount of money, cigarettes and the cashiers’ cellphone.

23:20 BRICKMAKERS KLOOF. A business in Albaster Street reported a trespassing; the suspect removed the wooden slab and entered into the yard. No entry was gained into premises.

10:12 CENTRAL. A business in Rink Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspect smashed the right hand side display window with a chair. No entry gained and no loss to premises.

20:17 NEWTON PARK. A residence in Lucas Street was burgled; the suspect entered by the main bedroom area. The owner can see clothing missing.

20:56 FAIRVIEW. A residence in Circular Drive reported a medical; the owner was sitting on the bar chair and fell over. The paramedics took her to hospital.

02:33 BEN KAMMA. A residence in St Bridgette King Road reported a burglary; the suspect forced the sliding door open. The suspect stole a laptop as well as an iPad.

03:47 SHERWOOD. A residence in Devon Road reported a house robbery; the suspect forced the back door open and gained entry. The owner can see a tablet, cellphone and a wallet missing.

06:06 ADDO. A residence in Main Road was burgled; the suspects gained entry by cutting off the locks and forced the sliding door open. The keyholder could only see the fridge that was empty.

07:57 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road was burgled; the suspect made a hole in the roof. The owner can see +- 15 starters and copper pipes missing.

10:45 SUNRIDGE PARK. An armed robbery was reported in Ralston Road; the suspect forced himself into the premises. Suspect demanded the owner to take him to the safe. Suspect was armed with a knife.

19:44 SHERWOOD.  A suicide was reported in Sherwood; a girl was hanging with a white shoe lace around her neck by the slide. Responses cut her lose to see if she had a pulse but she was cold. The paramedics declared her deceased.

22:30 WEYBRIDGE PARK. A residence in Alsace Road reported a medical; the owners wife’s’ heart beat was irregular and she complained about chest pains. The paramedics stood down and transported her to hospital.

00:38 PARSONS HILL. A residence in Tucker Street was burgled; the suspects entered the cellar by breaking the two padlocks. No loss to premises.

00:56 MILL PARK. A mugging was reported in Salisbury Road; the suspect had a knife and wanted to stab the owners’ son. Suspect got away with the wallet and cellphone.

01:07 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects smashed a window on the right hand side of the front door. No entry gained.

07:13 PROVIDENTIA. A residence in Marcia Way reported an attempted burglary; the suspect tried to force the garage door open but did not gain entry.

07:21 KUNENE PARK. A residence in Dunvegan Street reported a mugging; the domestic got off the bus when a male approached her and took her handbag.

07:49 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Bulbring Road was burgled; the owner confirmed that when she woke up she wanted to check the time and saw her cellphone is missing. The owner can see two cellphones, two TV’s and a watch missing.

08:48 NORTH END. A business in Strand Street was burgled; the suspects broke four windows and entered the building. The owner can see multiple computers, electrical equipment, grinders, drills and +- 50 aluminium window rails missing.

21:16 UITENHAGE. A burglary was reported in Joubert Street; the owners’ son son broke into his house by the sliding door. The son stole a laptop.

01:13 WALMER. A business in Villiers Road was burgled; the suspects removed a small window, kicked in the burglar bars and gained entry. Suspects stole two laptops as well as a tower from site. Stolen goods were recovered.

01:53 NORTH END. A business in Adcock Street was burgled; the suspects broke the toilet safety gate open and climbed into the ceiling. The owner did not see anything missing.

04:23 ESSEXVALE. A theft incident was reported in Chelmsford Road; the suspects cut the fence and entered the yard. Suspects stole the owners’ gas braai.

06:10 ALGOA PARK.  A medical was reported in Boekenhout Street; the owner was complaining of chest pains and was not able to breathe. The owner was transported to hospital.

11:28 NORTH END. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue reported an attempted theft incident; the suspect tried to break into a vehicle that was parked in the yard. The owner caught the suspects.

18:06 UITENHAGE. A business in Gerald Smith Road was burgled; the suspects entered at the back door. No loss to premises.

08:06 NEWTON PARK. A business in Cape Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspect smashed two windows on the right hand side of the front door. No loss to premises.

08:57 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road reported an attempted theft incident; the suspect stole the owners’ metal gate. Response caught suspect and took him to the owner and they returned the gate.

15:52 KORSTEN. A business in Essex Street was burgled; the suspect smashed the balcony window on the left hand side. The owner can see an entire sound system missing.

23:16 SUMMERSTRAND. A burglary was reported in Gomery Place; the suspects climbed over the wall and removed the window on the right hand side of the premises. The owner can see three cellphones, pillow cases and text books missing.

01:00 SOUTH END. A residence in Mykonos Pier Street was burgled; the suspects climbed through the window. No forced entry. Suspects stole a blue handbag that contained cash and an iPhone.

07:55 LORRAINE. A residence in Gilbert Road reported a theft incident; the suspects stole a BMW 1200 GS.

11:39 SUMMERSTRAND. A burglary was reported in Serissa Street; the suspects entered on the right hand side of the premises and opened the gate. Suspects entered and ransacked the entire premises. The owner can see a plasma TV missing.

08:06 SYDENHAM. A business in Uitenhage Road was burgled; the suspects kicked in the front door. There were three suspects; they took a glue gun and a hammer from site.

10:18 NEWTON PARK. A business around Greenacres area reported a theft incident; the owner can see duvets and pillows missing.

11:58 ST GEORGES PARK.            A residence in Park Lane was burgled; the suspect smashed the outbuilding front door. Suspect stole tools out of the building. Suspects stole a plasma TV out of the living room.

16:44 ST GEORGES PARK. A residence in Park Lane reported an attempted burglary; the suspects entered by the back door. The owner did not see anything missing.

20:41 LINTON GRANGE. A residence in Balsam Street was burgled; the suspects forced the kitchen window open and kicked in the burglar bars. Nothing reported missing at that stage.

01:56 SIDWELL. A residence in Strang Street was burgled; the suspects removed the security gate and kicked in the middle part of the door. The owner can see a drill and grinders missing.

04:19 WALMER. A business in Sixth Avenue reported a trespassing; the gentleman saw a male jump over the fencing and the male was arrested.

05:34 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road was burgled; the suspect smashed the glass on the front door and forced open the door. The owner can see a plasma TV missing.

09:12 UITENHAGE. An arrest was reported in Cannon Street; the suspect attempted to steal copper pipes from the flat.

10:13 GREENBUSHES. A business in Mission Road was burgled; there was a break in at one of the containers at the back of the premises. Suspects removed the burglar bars and smashed the window. The owner can see an amplifier missing.

11:40 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Lark Road  was burgled; the suspects made a small hole on the right hand side patio door window. The owner can see a bicycle missing at this stage.

00:35 UITENHAGE. A residence in Verbena Street Sterlitzia Park reported a theft incident; the suspects stole one copper pipe at the back of the premises.

03:09 CHARLO. A residence in Justin Road reported a medical; the owner who is 73 years old might have had an allergic reaction to the medication he is on. The paramedics stood down and took him to hospital.

04:57 UITENHAGE. A house robbery was reported in Lirnaria Street; the suspects forced the front sliding door open and entered the premises. Suspect tied the owner up and her two sons. No injuries. Suspect got away with a cellphone, green Corsa and an undisclosed amount of money. The vehicle was recovered in Kruisrivier lying on its roof.

02:51 CENTRAL. A business in Parliament Street reported a mugging; the suspect searched the owner and took his money and belt.

02:43 UITENHAGE. A business in Caledon Street reported a theft incident; three males entered the store. They were armed with knives and a panga. Suspect took 5-6 packets of biltong.

09:13 SYDENHAM. A business in Pyott Street was burgled; the suspect made two holes in the roof and only entered by the plastic sheeted side. Nothing was reported missing.

10:44 CENTRAL. A business in Eastbourne Road   was robbed; three males and one female entered the shop. Suspects threatened the owner and staff with a firearm. Suspects took stock, a DVD recorder and a cellphone.

12:39 WALMER. An armed robbery was reported in Albert Road; response noticed three suspects were running across the road and thought they must have robbed someone. Response gave chase to the suspects. Suspects robbed a hardware store.

18:31 CENTRAL. A business in Rink Street reported a theft incident; a white quantum threw in petrol and drove away.

17 APRIL 2019 WEDNESDAY

00:52 SYDENHAM. A residence in Lundie Street reported a medical; response went through the window and found the owner on the lounge floor next to the phone.

13:35 SCHOENMAKERSKOP. A mugging was reported in Victoria Drive; two suspects who were armed, forced a worker into the hole where he was busy working. Suspect hit him on the right hand side shoulder as well as the back of his head. Suspect took the company vehicle, wallet, cellphone and two knives.

19:06 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Chloedea Crescent reported a medical; the owners’ husband who is 71 years old was not responding. The paramedics stood down and declared the owner deceased.

20:47 FERNGLEN. A residence in Mayfair Avenue reported a theft incident; the suspect smashed the back left hand side window and opened the vehicle. Suspect took the wallet and togs.

23:02 SUMMERSTRAND. A medical was reported in Marine Drive; there was a fight at a bar close by and one client got stabbed in the back.

23:20 CENTRAL. A business in Parliament Street was burgled; the suspect smashed the front right hand side window and entered into the premises. The owner can see a lot of bags missing from site.

02:51 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road was burgled; the suspects forced the window on the right hand side open and gained entry. Suspect removed a 40 inch plasma TV that was mounted on the wall in the boardroom.

15:36 SYDENHAM. A business in Uitenhage Road was burgled; the suspect entered into the passage by the bathrooms. The owner confirmed the loss was due to damage to the property.

00:57 KORSTEN. A business in Stanford Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspect removed one bar from the security gate. They suspects took bricks and smashed the windows. No entry gained.

09:31 ST GEORGES PARK. A residence in Park Lane was burgled; the suspects gained entry at the back storeroom. The owner can see tools missing.

10:19 WESTERING. A business in Narcissus Street reported a medical; the owner fell and could not get up. The paramedics transported the owner to hospital.

11:00 NEWTON PARK. A business in Newton Street reported a theft incident; there was a vehicle standing at the back of the premises. Copper pipes were stolen.

11:12 KAMMA PARK. A residence in Paulus Street reported a medical; the owners’ daughter drank a hand full of pills. The owner transported her daughter to hospital.

11:36 DESPATCH. A suicide was reported in Gustave Preller; the owners’ daughter arrived at home and could not enter due to the locks being on. She asked the neighbours son to climb through the window. They found the owner in the garage inside the vehicle with one nail wound to the heart.

01:21 LOVEMORE PARK. A residence in Boundary Lane reported an attempted burglary; the suspect forced the back door open. No entry gained.

01:41 LOVEMORE PARK. A residence in Saffron Lane reported an attempted burglary; the suspects did not enter as the dogs disturbed them.

04:46 WALMER. An attempted burglary was reported in a complex; three suspects removed one of the poles of the electric fencing. The owner ran to her bedroom and locked herself in. Nothing was reported missing.

08:06 NORTH END. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue reported an armed robbery; four suspects entered the premises all armed. Suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money.

09:21 KORSTEN. A business in Durban Road reported an armed robbery; the owner confirmed six males entered the premises and were all armed. Suspects went to one of the staff members and forced her to open the cash register.

12:45 NEWTON PARK. A business in William Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects smashed the window. No entry was gained.

14:34 CENTRAL. A business in Cape Road reported that one male and one female entered the shop and bought some goods. They stole meat but were caught.

01:33   ADCOCKVALE EXTENSION. A residence in Middleton Road was burgled; the suspects lifted the garage roller door. The suspects smashed the front passenger side window and tried to remove the radio of the vehicle.

07:15 LINKSIDE. A residence in Camden Avenue reported a mugging; the domestic confirmed that she was walking past the golf course when a male robbed her of her cellphone. Suspect took money out of the wallet and threw the wallet away.

08:55 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Ben Viljoen Road reported a theft incident; the owners’ golf was standing in the driveway when the suspect smashed the small window and stole the tape.

10:14 FERNGLEN.  An armed robbery was reported at a shopping centre in Fernglen; someone was busy drawing money when a suspect approached her and robbed her of her money. Suspect took the owner of a shop to the back of the shop and stole an undisclosed amount of money and liquor. Suspect stole the owners’ bakkie but was later recovered in Cape Road.

11:53 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Bradley Street reported a mugging; the suspect robbed a lady and ran into the premises. Suspect made his way through the owners’ yard where he dropped the bag and hid in the yard. Suspect was caught.

15:26 NEWTON PARK. A business in Langenhoven Drive reported an armed robbery; seven males entered the shop and all of them were armed. Suspect tied the staff members up and put them in the room. The owner can see stock and an undisclosed amount of money missing.

06:59 CENTRAL. A business in Lawrence Street was burgled; the suspects smashed three of the smaller windows on the right hand side of the premises. Suspect made use of a long stick to pull items through broken windows.

05:32 FERNGLEN. A residence in Broadway Avenue was burgled; the suspects removed the burglar bars. The owner can see a work bag, clothing, laptop and an iPad missing.

08:31 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admiralty Way reported a theft incident; the owner informed response that his white Citi golf was broken into. Suspects smashed the back window and stole the tape and his student bag.

09:59 UITENHAGE. A business in Cuyler Street reported a theft incident; the owner confirmed that a male stole a six pack of energy drinks. The owner caught the suspect.

12:04 OVERBAAKENS. An arrest was reported in Avon Place; a suspect was driving down circular drive when the SAPS stopped him. Suspect was involved in a break in. Suspect ran towards the bush area. Suspect was arrested and was transported to police station.

07:53 SYDENHAM. A business in Pyott Street was burgled; the suspect smashed a window in Pyott street side. The suspects managed to grab a few items through the window.

08:10 WALMER. A business in Boeing Road was burgled; the suspect forced the front window open of the recreation area. Entry was gained and the suspect stole one soccer trophy.

09:46 NEWTON PARK. A medical was reported in Burt Drive; the owner had high blood pressure and felt dizzy. The driver pulled over on the high way. Driver was transported to hospital by the paramedics.

10:04 WALMER. A residence in Villiers Road was burgled; the suspects smashed the right hand side window and kicked in the burglar bars. The owner can see a Xbox as well as small items missing.

10:56 CENTRAL. A residence in Irvine Street reported a theft incident; the owner saw two suspects. The one suspect took a chair that was standing outside.

13:32 WALMER. A business in Sixth Avenue was burgled; the owner confirmed that when they arrived at home they noticed the security gate at the back door was stolen.

00:38 SUNRIDGE PARK.  A medical was reported in Gazania Avenue; the owner fell on her left hip. She was transported to hospital.

07:07 CENTRAL. A business in Lawrence Street was burgled; the suspects smashed the window on the right hand side. The owner can see quite a bit of stock stolen.

08:33 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road reported a vandalism incident; the ATM on site was vandalised.

10:46 UITENHAGE. A business in Eagle Drive Rosedale was burgled; the suspects entered by the bathroom window. The owner did not see anything missing at that stage.

13:26 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspect made a hole in the bottom section of the roof. No entry gained and no loss reported to premises.

00:52 HUNTERS RETREAT. A business in Old Cape Road reported a theft incident; a vehicle threw R200 petrol in and drove off.

04:37 SUMMERSTRAND. A business in Marine Drive was burgled; the suspects forced the front door open. The owner did not see anything missing at that stage.

07:06 CENTRAL. A residence in Brickmakers Kloof was burgled; the suspects entered the garage. No loss to premises.

14:27 MARKMAN TOWNSHIP. A business in Ranger Street was burgled; the suspects forced the safety gate open. The owner did not see anything missing at that stage.

20:50 DESPATCH. A theft incident was reported in Verwoed Drive; the suspects broke the vibracrete wall at the back and entered the yard. The owner can see copper fittings missing.

07:36 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Villiers Road reported a medical; the owner who was 83 years of age passed away of natural causes.

08:18 SHERWOOD. A residence in Ipswitch Street reported a medical; the owners’ mother passed away. The paramedics stood down.

12:43 NORTH END. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue reported and armed robbery; six males entered the shop and were armed. Suspects took an undisclosed amount of money, jewellery, watches, eight cellphones and two laptops.

14:11 SIDWELL. A business in Sutton Road was burgled; the suspects entered on the left hand side of the building. The owner can see scrap metal missing.

15:06 WALMER. A business in Prospect Road was burgled; the suspects entered the premises. They removed two safes.

15:19 WALMER. A residence in Second Avenue was burgled; the suspects entered by forcing open the front door. Suspects took a safe.

19:51 DESPATCH. A suicide was reported at a premises in Maritz Street; the resident who was 65 years of age committed suicide. There were three bottles of pills.

20:24 LINTON GRANGE. A residence in Balsam Street was burgled; the suspect gained entry from the bathroom window. Suspects took the TV and it fell and broke.

20:51 UITENHAGE. A business in Cannon Street was burgled; the suspects entered from the forecourt. Suspects cut the burglar bars.

21:42 SYDENHAM. A residence in Sydenham Road reported a theft incident; the suspects went through the whole house and took a laptop and a TV.

02:16 KORSTEN. A business in Perl Street was burgled; the suspect jumped over the front perimeter wall. Suspect smashed the window and bent the burglar bars. The owner did not see what was missing.

03:23 UITENHAGE. A business in Sellick Street Lower Central reported an attempted burglary; the suspect ripped off a piece of pressed wood from the wall. No entry gained into property.

03:35 RICHMOND HILL. A residence in Sherlock Street was burgled; the owner was asleep while the suspect was inside the home. The owner got up and noticed the kitchen window was forced open and the back door was standing open. Suspect took cash out the owners’ wallet. A laptop and a cellphone were also reported missing.

07:06 WEST END. A residence in Clivia Crescent was burgled; the suspect jumped over the wall and forced the garage door open. The owner can see a washing machine, lawnmower and speakers missing.

11:15 WALMER. A residence in Hillbrow Place reported an attempted burglary; two suspects removed the front pedestrian strip. When the suspects saw the owner they ran away.

11:17 COTSWOLD. A residence in Arend Street was burgled; the suspects lifted the driveway gate. The owner can see two TV’s and a laptop missing.

14:15 SYDENHAM. A business in Voyle Street reported an armed robbery; two males entered the shop and bought a grandpa. Suspects took out a firearm, took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.

16:32 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Starling Crescent was burgled; the suspects smashed the bedroom window. The owner can see two wrist watches and meat missing.

19:41 SHERWOOD.  A burglary was reported in Carmel Crescent; the suspects removed a small window by the front door. The owner can see a flat screen TV, two cellphones and a charger missing.

02:38 CENTRAL. A business in Park Drive was burgled; the suspects forced the left hand side window open. Entry was gained but the owner did not see what was missing.

02:49 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Summerwood Park reported an attempted burglary; the owner discovered the study room door was standing open and there is a lot of scratch marks on the door.

04:23 LORRAINE. A hijacking was reported in Circular Drive; a response vehicle of a company was hijacked in Lorraine. Suspect stole the Glock pistol.

04:46 KORSTEN. A business in Kempston Road was burgled; the suspect made a hole in the roof. The owner can see cigarettes missing.

10:43 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Pheasant Road reported a medical; the owner was not feeling well. The paramedics stood down and response withdrew from site.

12:49 SARDINIA BAY. A suicide was reported in Sardinia Bay; a female had a pipe running from the exhaust pipe into the vehicle. Response smashed the rear glass window but they declared the female deceased already.

18:54 GREENBUSHES. An attempted burglary was reported in Blomme Avenue; the suspects gained entry into the yard by digging a hole on the side of the fence. Suspects proceeded to the workshop where they smashed the window. Response checked the yard and saw a grinder and battery jumpers.

22:20 CENTRAL. A business in Cape Road reported a theft incident; the suspect stole two pies and two bottles of water from the premises and left the shop.

23:11 KWAZAKHELE. A business in Mbilini Road reported a vandalism incident; the suspect cut the fence near the back gate and entered.

01:53 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road was burgled; the suspects smashed the big right hand side window and gained entry. The owner can see four plasma TV’s missing.

02:11 NEAVE TOWNSHIP. A business in Schadie Street was burgled; the suspect smashed the right hand side window and kicked in the burglar bars. Entry was gained. Suspects stole a company branded banner.

02:34 MILL PARK. A residence in Cape Road reported a theft incident; the owners’ vehicle was parked outside in the parking area. Suspects smashed the right hand side window and stole a JVC car radio, two Sony speakers and a wallet.

03:15 CENTRAL. A business in Rink Street was burgled; the suspects smashed the left hand side window. Entry was gained. Suspects stole an undisclosed amount of clothing items and fled the scene.

03:35 MALABAR. A residence in Haworthia Drive was burgled; the suspects’ point of entry was at the back door. Suspects went into the main bedroom and owner can see a cellphone missing.

08:03 CENTRAL. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the suspects smashed the front window and no entry was gained.

13:10 CENTRAL. A business in Rink Street reported a theft incident; a male suspect grabbed a case of cooldrinks. They searched the area but did not find the suspect.

14:16 UITENHAGE. A burglary was reported in Kruisrivier Road; the suspect entered by the store room. Suspects stole cables and gas bottles. All items retrieved in the field.

18:01 SYDENHAM. A residence in Heath Street reported a theft incident; the suspects stole pipes at a premises in Heath Street. Suspects stole copper pipes from the outside of the building.

2 APRIL 2019 TUESDAY

01:18 LINKSIDE. A residence in Bibury Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the suspects went to the braai area and forced the window open. No entry was gained and no loss reported to premises.

03:36 GLENHURD. A residence in Peter Graham Avenue was burgled; the suspect entered the premises by forcing the aluminium frame open of the window. The owner could not determine what was missing.

07:16 NEAVE TOWNSHIP. A business in Schadie Street reported a theft incident; the suspects climbed over the palisade fencing and went to the right hand side alley. Suspects stole copper pipes and water pipes.

07:47 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects went down the left hand side alleyway and smashed the top window. No entry gained.

10:18 GREENACRES. A residence in Norvic Drive reported a mugging; the gardener was busy cutting the grass when two males approached him and asked him questions in Afrikaans. The two males pulled out a firearm. He ran away and the suspects followed him. SAPS arrested the suspects.

11:03 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Starling Crescent reported a vandalism incident; the owner arrived home and found his bedroom window removed.

19:48 UITENHAGE. A business in John Street Central was burgled; the suspects forced the back door open by the clothing shop. Suspects left a green and black bag full of items.

23:12 GREENBUSHES. A residence in Bloekom Avenue reported a medical; the owner  was discharged from hospital that morning and suffered from a heart attack while at home. The paramedics transported him to hospital.

1 APRIL 2019 MONDAY

04:17 UITENHAGE. A residence in Dunn Street Janssendal was burgled; the suspects broke one of the small windows by the bottom flat at the carport. The owner did not determine what was missing.

06:13 NORTH END. A business in Paterson Road was burgled; the suspects smashed the office window and gained entry. The owner did not see what was missing at that stage.

08:32 KORSTEN. A business in Stanford Road was burgled; the suspects forced the front security gate open. They gained access into the owners safe and took an undisclosed amount of cash. The owner can also see cooldrinks, fish, a kettle and a microwave missing.

08:34 UITENHAGE. A business in Dale Street was burgled; the suspects made a hole in the wall at the back of the premises and entered. The owner can see cash missing.

12:35 THEESECOMBE. A business in Kragga Kamma Road reported a mugging; a 23 year old male attacked and robbed one of the female staff members. One suspect stabbed her and tried to strangle her.

13:23 UITENHAGE. An arrest was reported in Sterlitzia Park; a male was found in Gardenia Drive and response asked him a few questions. Suspect opened the bag and they found stolen goods. Response found handmade knifes, two Capitec Bank cards, Edgars Cards and an ID book.

14:06   LINTON GRANGE. A residence in Lupin Street was burgled; the suspect smashed the bathroom window and removed burglar bars. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.

21:51 SARDINIA BAY. A residence in Kingfishers Lane reported a house robbery; the owner confirmed that three males entered by the back door. They were armed with a crowbar, screwdriver and a pair of pliers. Suspect tied up the owner and his mother. The owner can see two flat screen TV’s, jewellery, three iPhones, one laptop and one cellphone missing.
