06:52 SALISBURY PARK. A residence in Pagoda Street reported a suicide attempt; the owner was passed out on the bed. She had cut herself with a sharp object. The paramedics took her to hospital for further medical attention.

08:01 LORRAINE. A residence in Dijon Road reported a theft incident; the owner woke up noticed the gas cylinder was missing. The gas cylinder was tied to the wall with a chain.

09:16 DESPATCH. A residence in Botha Street was burgled; the suspects forced the garage roller door open and entered. The owner did not see what was missing at that stage.

22:10 AMSTERDAMHOEK. A residence in Amsterdamhoek Drive was burgled; the suspect cut a hole in the back fencing. Suspects went to the main bedroom window, broke off the burglar bars and forced open the aluminium window frame. The owner can see a 32 inch flat screen missing.

29 MARCH 2019 FRIDAY

06:54 DESPATCH. A residence in Heide Street was burgled; the suspects broke into the spare bedroom window at the flatlet. The owner can see a 32 inch plasma TV and a pair of Oakley sunglasses missing. A pair of binoculars was found in the yard as well.

07:05 UITENHAGE. A medical was reported in Ruddle Street; the owner had a heart attack in the shower. The paramedics declared her deceased.

09:34 DESPATCH. A business in Khayamnan Street was burgled; the suspects forced the security gate open. The owner did not confirm what was missing. Suspect also broke into the lab area where they attempted to steal a car engine.

09:43 GREENBUSHES. A residence in Blomme Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the suspects made a hole in the garage wall by smashing the wall with rocks.

18:32 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Bognor Street reported a medical; the owner had pains through her back and a high fever. The paramedics stood down and transported her to hospital.

18:35 BRENTWOOD PARK.            A residence in Montrose Crescent reported that the suspects forced the motor gate open to enter and went to the garage. No loss to premises.

19:40 SIDWELL. A business in Wright Street reported an armed robbery; five armed males entered the shop and demanded cash, cigarettes and energy drinks. The owner followed suspects and the suspect fired five gun shots at owner. No injuries reported.

21:03 ADCOCKVALE. A residence in Lovemore Crescent was burgled; the suspects tampered with the garage door. The neighbour saw the suspect in the yard. There was a dent in the garage door.

27 MARCH 2019 WEDNESDAY

01:53 DESPATCH.  A residence in Van Der Spuy Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects attempted to break in at the flatlet. The asbestos sheeting was damaged.

07:44 ADCOCKVALE. A residence in Lovemore Crescent was burgled; the suspects jumped over the front gate and forced the garage door open. The owner can see a mountain bike and meat missing.

10:45 DESPATCH. A residence in Dagbreek Street was burgled; the suspects forced the main bedroom window open. The owner can see a cellphone, tablet, wallet and jewellery missing.

14:53 SIDWELL.A business in Kempston Road was burgled; the suspects entered the premises and forced the security gate open. The owner can see copper pipes and taps missing. Suspects also took the electric fence.

16:10 KORSTEN. An armed robbery was reported in Durban Road; the suspect tried to rob a taxi. Suspect shot the owner and the operator in the head. One victim ran into a shop and collapsed.

01:27 NORTH END. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue reported an armed robbery; three males entered the store. Two had firearms. Suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the till and cigarettes. No shots fired and no injuries.

02:17 CENTRAL. A business in Strand Street was burgled; the suspects cut the lock off the front door and gained entry. Suspects took a generator and a hair clipper.

02:23 NEWTON PARK. A business in Cape Road reported an attempted burglary; the suspects broke into one of the vehicles and smashed one of the right hand side windows. A suspect took an amplifier and speakers from the vehicle. All stolen goods were recovered.

04:40 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road was burgled; the suspects smashed the left hand side window. The owner can see five plasma TV’s missing.

08:24 WALMER. A residence in Water Road reported a mugging; the owner confirmed that she was robbed by a male wearing dark trousers. She was held at knife point and was robbed of her phone.

03:22 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road was burgled; the suspect smashed a window in the front and kicked in the burglar bars. Entry was gained. Suspect went through the entire property. The owner can see multiple sets of sunglasses and spectacles missing from a display case. The owner can also see an eye test machine, four computers and three laptops missing.

05:09 UITENHAGE. A burglary was reported in De Jong Drive; the suspects smashed the kitchen window and bent burglar bars. The owner is not sure if anything is missing at this stage.

07:29 UITENHAGE. A burglary was reported in Channer Street; the suspects smashed the left hand side window and burglar bars. The owner woke up from a loud bang and saw the suspects inside the premises. The owner saw that her laptop was missing.

07:35 UITENHAGE. A business in Eiffel Street Kruisrivier was burgled; the suspects entered the yard by breaking a vibrate pillar. The owner can see a lot of tools missing as well as vehicle parts and a truck head.

09:02 SUNRIDGE PARK. A residence in Lilac Avenue reported a medical; one of the residents fell when she picked something up.

13:21 UITENHAGE.  A residence in Cannon Street Upper Central was burgled; the suspects kicked the store room door open. The owner can see 20 litres of paint, 50 meter razor wire, a wheelbarrow and a ladder missing.

18:08 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Arkhon Street reported a mugging; a male was walking and a white Datsun approached him. There were two males inside the vehicle and took all his belongings. He then started shouting at the suspect and then the other male grazed him on the forehead with a knife.

20:02 CENTRAL. A residence in Newington Road reported a theft incident; the suspects broke into the bakkie and vehicle that was parked in front of the premises. The owner can see an extension plug missing.

24 MARCH 2019 SUNDAY

01:33 HUMERAIL. A business in Parrott Street reported that a fight broke out between two males. One male stabbed the other male with a bottle neck. The male stole a phone from the injured man. Suspect was spotted and SAPS arrested suspect.

01:53 MORNINGSIDE. A residence in Link Road was burgled; the suspect forced the bedroom window open and kicked in the burglar bars. Suspect entered while owner was still in the room. Suspect fled with the owners’ cellphone.

02:00 CENTRAL. A business in Park Drive reported an attempted burglary; the suspect cut the fence at the back and entered the property. Suspect smashed one of the office windows. No entry gained.

09:12 UITENHAGE. A business in Market Street was burgled; the suspect went down the alleyway towards the back. Suspect forced open a window on the second floor. Entry was gained. The owner can see a tablet and three cans of air freshener stolen.

00:03 UITENHAGE. A business in Anta Street Kwanobuhle was burgled; the suspects forced the storeroom door open and stole gardening tools.

08:25 NEWTON PARK. A business in King Edward Street was burgled; the suspects opened the front door that was unlocked. They scratched around in the house and took jewellery, watches, money, Samsung s6 and an iPhone.

08:45 WALMER. A business in Fifth Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the suspects cut the electric fence at the back of the premises and smashed two windows. The owner did not see anything missing from premises.

12:25 FERNGLEN. A house robbery was reported in Cape Road; the suspects forced the spare bedroom window open and kicked in the burglar bars. Suspect confronted the owner and wanted to stab the owner.

14:35 OVERBAAKENS. A residence in Keet Crescent reported a trespassing incident; the owner saw a figure holding a torch down the passage near her bedroom. The owner started shouting and the suspect ran away.

14:40 UITENHAGE. A residence in Claredon Avenue was burgled; the TV room glass panel was removed. No entry was gained and no loss to premises.

15:01 UITENHAGE. A residence in Ross Gradwell Street reported a vandalism incident; the lounge window was smashed. No entry was gained and no loss to premises.

02:45 WALMER. A business in Sixth Avenue was burgled; the suspects removed a window and entered. They forced the internal security gate open as well. The suspects opened two safes which contained an undisclosed amount of cash. Response recovered a computer pc, a server and alcohol outside the premises.

21:02 LORRAINE. A residence in Lourdes Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the owner was watching TV when they heard a noise at the back door. The suspect made a hole in the door and tried to force it open but did not succeed.

01:13 ROWALLAN PARK. A business in Brampton Avenue reported an armed robbery; five suspects entered the premises pretending to be customers. Three suspects took out their firearms and gun pointed the staff. The suspects then removed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and left.

21:40 FOREST HILL.            A residence in Orange Grove Street reported a medical; the owner who was in his fifties was busy eating an apple and then he collapsed. His wife checked and he was not breathing. Response started with CPR and was able to revive him. The paramedics stood down and transported him to hospital.

22:28 WALMER. A business in Heugh Road reported an attempted theft; two male suspects stole one of the wooden tables that was standing outside the premises. Response found the wooden table lying broken on the corner.

11:50 LORRAINE. A business in Circular Drive reported an armed robbery; the owner confirmed that three male suspects entered the premises. One suspect was armed with a firearm. Suspects got away with cash and cellphones from the staff.

07:18 NORTH END. A business in Innes Street reported an armed robbery; three armed suspects entered the premises and tied the owner up with cable ties. Suspects got away with an unknown amount of money.

13:19 NORTH END. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue reported a theft incident; the suspects removed the aircons and copper pipes.

19:21 PARSONS RIDGE. A residence in Criollo Street reported an assault; the owner confirmed that there was a fight on site with his brother-in law.

02:15 PARSONS HILL. A burglary was reported in Joubert Street; the suspect got through a window which was unlocked. The owner can see a laptop, three cellphones and a wallet missing.

03:13 CENTRAL. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue was burgled; the suspect smashed the window on the right hand side of the property. Suspect stole cellphones.

04:51 ADCOCKVALE. A residence in Lovemore Crescent was burgled; the owner woke up she noticed a suspect jumped over the wall with something but was unable to see what item the suspect had. Suspect forced open the garage door.

03:57 PERSEVERANCE. A residence in Makepeace Crescent was burgled; the suspects smashed the bathroom window and gained entry. There was a toolbox standing open in the bathroom.

07:05 CENTRAL. A business in Brickmakers Kloof was burgled; the suspects forced the garage door open and gained entry. Suspects smashed the right hand side back window of a vehicle. The owner can see a battery missing.

08:24 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road reported a theft incident; the suspects pulled a mat from underneath the door.

09:04 SARDINIA BAY. A residence in Sardinia Bay Road was burgled; the suspects forced the four cottage doors open. The owner can see four plasma TV’s, four fridges, three heaters and various other appliances missing.

13:30 UITENHAGE. A burglary was reported in Winterhoek Drive; the owner went home and neighbours shouted that there was someone in her house. One suspect ran past her with a laptop. Suspect entered through the back kitchen window. The whole house was ransacked and two suspects were arrested. 

23:49 ST GEORGES PARK.            A business in Park Drive was burgled; the suspects smashed the kitchen window. The owner confirmed that there was no loss to premises.

07:04 ADCOCKVALE. A residence in Kingston Road reported a theft incident; the owner woke up and noticed that eight shower doors were stolen from the premises.

07:07 MILL PARK. A business in Cape Road reported a theft incident; copper pipes were stolen at the back of the premises. The owner suspected the vagrants that were sleeping on site.

07:11 ST GEORGES PARK. A business in Park Drive was burgled; the suspects broke the lock off the security gate and forced the door open at the shed. The owner can see a weed eater, kettle and a toolbox missing from premises.

22:19 SOUTH END. A residence in Karmin Drive reported an attempted theft incident; the owner confirmed that when she entered the complex she noticed a vehicle standing in the complex. When the owner approached her house four males tried to hi-jack her. She managed to get away and alert the response.

04:28 PERSEVERANCE. A business in Waagensdrift Elands Street was burgled; the suspect damaged the security gate and kicked the wooden door open. Entry was gained. The owner could not see what was missing.

11:32 NORTH END. A business in York Road reported a theft incident; a male went into the shop pretending to buy something. He explained what he wanted and the owner went to the back. When he came back the suspect took a cash box with an undisclosed amount of money in.

01:02 BLUEWATER BAY. A residence in Eileen Drive reported a trespassing incident; the owners’ son was in the living room when he heard a noise in the upstairs bathroom. He went and checked, this is when he saw a male trying to gain entry through the bathroom window. No entry gained and no loss reported.

01:49 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Sibeluis Street was burgled; the suspects forced the bottom right hand side window open and broke one burglar bar off. The owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.

06:38 ALGOA PARK. A residence in Dyke Road reported a theft incident; the suspects walked into the yard and smashed the vehicles window. Suspects took the complete sound system and fled.

07:50 SUMMERSTRAND. A business in Marine Drive reported an attempted theft incident; the suspects forced the wendy house door open. Suspects looked inside and the alarm went off. Suspects ran away. No loss.

08:33 STRUANDALE. A business in Libertas Road reported a theft incident; the suspects got into the yard and stole fluorescent bulbs.

09:24 WALMER. A business in Schoenmakerskop Road reported a trespassing incident; the Security Officer confirmed that he arrested a suspect that stole a metal pipe plug. Suspects climbed over the wooden motorized gate and went to the one shop where they removed the back window and burglar bars. Suspects then went to the second shop and removed the kitchen window and burglar bars but did not gain entry.

08:08 CENTRAL. A business in Park Drive was burgled; the suspects attempted to enter by the kitchen window. The owner can see a computer and a passport missing.

10:53 ADCOCKVALE. A residence in Brunswick Road was burgled; the suspects gained entry by the flatlet window. The owner can see a laptop and plasma missing. SAPS arrived on site and arrested the suspect. All stolen goods were recovered.

21:04 SOUTH END. A business in Webber Street reported a theft incident; a male suspect entered and demanded cash and alcohol. Suspect managed to get away with cash and two bottles of alcohol.

01:16 CHARLO. A residence in Leslie Road was burgled; the owner heard a noise and when he got outside he saw the suspect jumped over the wall. Suspects forced the garage door open and tried to steal his bike.

02:36 MARKMAN. A business in Markman Road reported an armed robbery; the owner was busy eating when two armed suspects forced themselves into the guard house. Suspects stole four truck batteries and a 25L diesel tank. Suspects made a hole in the perimeter vibracrete wall.

13:09 WALMER. A residence in Second Avenue reported an attempted burglary; the suspects forced the right hand side gate open, cut the locks and forced open the motor gate to gain access. No entry gained.

13:47 LOVEMORE PARK. A residence in Milkwood Road was burgled; the suspects forced the pedestrian gate open. The suspects entered using the sliding door. The owner can see a 32 inch Samsung TV and a wall mounted safe with a undisclosed amount of cash missing.

13:57 MOUNT CROIX. A residence in Erite Street was burgled; the suspects jumped over the fence and opened the bathroom window. Entry was gained and the owner did not see anything missing at that stage.

19:11 PARSONS HILL. A residence in Trichardt Street was burgled; the suspects removed the gate motor cover and proceeded to the front door. Entry was gained, the owner can see two plasma TV’s and various other items missing.

20:30 MOUNT CROIX. A residence in Clevedon Road reported a trespassing incident; the suspect was hiding in a tree in the back yard. Suspect was handed over to SAPS.

02:07 FERNGLEN. A residence in Sluysken Street was burgled; the suspects forced the back door open. The owner can see a watch missing at this stage.

07:47 UITENHAGE. A business in Market Street reported a theft incident; the suspects stole one of the Floodlights From the hall.

10:57 SYDENHAM.A business in Uitenhage Road reported a theft incident; the owner directed response to a blue vehicle. The window was smashed, two laptops, an acer and a Lenovo laptop was stolen.

11:22 UITENHAGE. A residence in Dale Street reported a vandalism incident; the owner notified response that there was a window damaged at the door and a piece of wood was removed from the door. No entry was gained and no loss to premises.

11:59 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admirality way reported a medical; the resident had high blood pressure. Gardmed transported the owner to hospital.

19:36 WOODLANDS . A residence in Le Morne Road reported a theft incident; two men were on site. Response saw one of the suspects walked out of the shop and notified the SAPS. They were arrested and taken into custody.

01:42 CENTRAL. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue reported an attempted theft incident; the owner confirmed that one suspect entered the premises while the other 4 suspects were waiting in a white Toyota vehicle. Suspects tried to steal the cashier’s cellphone and other items. The cashier managed to overpower the suspect and he ran away.

04:37 STRUANDALE. A business in Spondo Street reported a vandalism incident; the suspects broke the cement slab and behind the slab there is electric fencing. No entry gained.

02:13 KORSTEN. A business in Cottrel Street reported an attempted burglary; the suspects smashed the front window and bent the burglar bars. No entry gained.

08:45 UITENHAGE. A business in Schonland Street reported a trespassing incident; the suspects stole steel from the premises. SAPS arrested the suspects in Caledon Street.

18:31 SYDENHAM. A business in Sydenham Road reported a vandalism incident; the owner confirmed that a male under the influence bumped his head against the window. When the owner came out they had an argument.
