As May has come to a close, it's essential to reflect on the incidents within our communities and how Atlas Security is steadfast in its commitment to protect and serve. In May, a total of 380 incidents were reported across various suburbs, highlighting the ever-present need for vigilant security measures.

Top Affected Suburbs

Among the suburbs, Uitenhage and Walmer were the most affected, with 45 and 43 incidents respectively. This was followed by North End with 25 incidents, Summerstrand with 21 incidents, and Despatch with 14 incidents. These numbers underscore the areas where Atlas Security's presence and proactive measures are most critical.

Nature of Incidents

The top incidents reported in May were diverse, ranging from break-ins and thefts to medical emergencies. The most frequent incident was Break-ins, which accounted for 64 reports. Theft was also notably high with 60 incidents, followed by Medical emergencies at 57. Attempted theft was another significant category with 38 incidents. 

Least Affected Suburbs

While some areas saw higher incidents, several suburbs experienced minimal disturbances, with only one incident each. These include Murray Park, Linkside, Humewood, Glendinningvale, and Brentwood Park. This is a testament to the effectiveness of our security measures and the vigilance of community members in these areas
