Multiple Successes Celebrated Across the Metro

Criminals have once again tested the team at Atlas Security, and once again lost the battle as they found themselves in handcuffs. It started in St Georges Park on Saturday morning, when B67 was on a patrol in Park Drive and noticed three suspects trying to steal an air conditioning unit from a sports club. He gave chase and managed to apprehend one of the suspects. The client opened a case and the suspect was handed over to the SAPS.

Later that day, Sunfern DPS Armed Response Officer, B98, responded to a call with information of an alleged attempted theft that occurred in Ralston Road. The suspect smashed the window of a vehicle, but was spotted by nearby golfers. The golfers gave chase and detained the suspect with the assistance of B98, the suspect was then handed over to the SAPS.

The final success was achieved in Springfield/Charlo, when a suspect broke into a clients property and stole a cell phone. The client and B14 were able to track the phone, indicating that the suspect was on the move in Villiers Road. The live location of the suspect was shared to Armed Response Officers in Walmer who were able to find and apprehend the suspect, who was then handed over to the SAPS.
