Multiple Successes Celebrated Across the Metro

Criminals have once again tested the team at Atlas Security, and once again lost the battle as they found themselves in handcuffs. It started in St Georges Park on Saturday morning, when B67 was on a patrol in Park Drive and noticed three suspects trying to steal an air conditioning unit from a sports club. He gave chase and managed to apprehend one of the suspects. The client opened a case and the suspect was handed over to the SAPS.

Suspects Arrested After Breaking into a Vehicle in Walmer Heights

While on patrol in Verdi Road on Thursday morning, B70 was stopped by a gentleman in the street, who informed him that four suspicious males disappeared into the bush. It was then discovered that there had been a theft out of motor vehicle at a non-Atlas client. Suspects had smashed the window and stolen a bag.

CCTV Alert Leads to a Stolen Vehicle Recovery in Mill Park

The Atlas Security Control Room received an alert from an LPR (Licence Plate Recognition) Camera in Salisbury Avenue, Mill Park. The alert was a signal that an allegedly stolen vehicle was entering the area, allowing the Control Room operators to immediately notify DPS vehicles in the area, as well as the SAPS.

When arriving at an alarm activation in Walmer Heights on Sunday night, Armed Response Officer B14 noticed a suspicious BMW in the vicinity.
