Just after midnight on Tuesday, our control room received a call about a possible robbery in progress on King Edward Street, Newton Park. Our armed response team wasted no time and rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, they spotted two suspicious individuals trying to make a quick getaway from the premises. Both were swiftly detained. But that wasn’t all! Our sharp-eyed armed response officer noticed a third suspect hiding behind a tree inside the yard, armed with break-in tools. He didn’t get far—our team detained him too.
