06:11 SIDWELL. Two suspects stole tyres from a business in Sutton Road. They were caught in the act and the stolen goods were retrieved.

28 September 2016 Wednesday
03:48 DEAL PARTY. A business in Hayward Street was burgled. The suspects broke through the kitchen window and bent the burglar bars. A Plasma TV was removed but was retrieved in the yard.
05:50 WALMER. A business in Sixth Avenue was burgled. The suspects gained entyr via the bathroom window and stole bottles of alcohol.
06:41 DEAL PARTY. A business in Burman Road was burgled. The suspects smashed the far left hand side window and kicked the burglar bars. The owner could not confirm the loss at the time.
08:16 KORSTEN. A business in Cottrell Street was burgled. The suspects forced open the front security gate and broke the bottom glass of the front door. They gained entry and removed the till and a computer.
08:29 NEAVE INDUSTRIAL. A business in Pax Street was burgled. The suspects cut the telephone lines and stole copper pipes.
08:51 UITENHAGE. A residence in Magnolia Street was burgled. The suspects kicked in the front door and broke the security gate. A Plasma TV and other valuables were stolen.
09:15 CENTRAL. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue was burgled. The suspects smashed the window on the left hand side and removed the burglar bars. They stole an a few bottles of alcohol.
10:33 SUNRIDGE PARK. A medical emergency took place at a residence in Cassia Drive. An elderly lady was struggling to breathe. She was transported to the hospital.
14:35 NORTH END. A business in Paterson Road was burgled. The suspects made a hole in the roof and entered the building. The owner could not confirm his loss at the time.
17:07 WALMER. A medical emergency took place at a business in Victoria Park Drive. One of the employees collapsed. She was transported to the hospital.
20:45 MOTHERWELL. An armed robbery took place at a business in Maku Street. Two armed suspects entered the guard house and robbed the staff of their cell phones and cash. Fortunately no one was injured during the incident and the robbers fled with their loot.
22:18 NEWTON PARK. A business in Fifth Avenue was burgled. The suspects removed the back window and bent the burglar bars. A computer monitor and other valuables were stolen. One suspect was caught hiding in the building and was arrested.

27 September 2016 Tuesday
01:16 NEWTON PARK. A business in Pickering Street was burgled. Response reported that the suspects forced the office window open and removed the burglar bars and gained entry. Suspect stole a computer tower and a briefcase. SAP stood down and client opened a case.
02:28 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Skegness Road was burgled. Response reported that the garage door sheeting was removed. Owner is not certain what is missing and will follow up with SAP in the morning.
02:34 NEWTON PARK. A residence in Burt Drive reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that the suspects removed the owner’s daughter’s windscreen from her Blue Golf which was parked in the yard. The suspects pulled the windscreen through the palisade fencing. SAP stood down and owner opened a case.
02:40 NEWTON PARK. A residence in Burt Drive was burgled. Response reported that the suspects forced the garage door open and gained entry to the garage; they emptied out the owner’s deep freezer and took all the frozen meat and food. SAP stood down and the home owner opened a case.
08:58 DESPATCH. A residence in Slabbert Street was burgled. Response reported that the suspect forced the right hand side window open. No entry was gained and no loss from site. The owner did not open a case with SAP.

01:35 LORRAINE. A business in Verdun Road reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that the security officer went to use the facilities and when he returned he noticed that his cell-phone was missing. The officer did not want to open a case. Response was excused from site.
02:40 LORRAINE. A residence in Marne Road experienced a house robbery. Response reported that the home owners were tied up. There were six males involved. Response confirmed that there was a baby in the house as well. The home owner is not certain of what was taken at this stage. Gardmed stood down and SAP stood down.

25 September 2016 Sunday
01:14 DEAL PARTY. A business in Hayward Street was burgled. Response reported that the suspect climbed through the roof area and smashed the window. They then kicked the boardroom door open and entered. Business owner is missing a computer monitor and printer; they have opened a case with SAP.
03:23 COTSWOLD. An Institute in William Road was burgled. Response reported that the owner confirmed that he would go later to check the premises and determine what is missing. No SAP at this stage.
18:04 STRUANDALE. A business in Eveready Road reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that there were five suspects on site. They stole copper pipes, the business owner confirmed that he would only go to the premises the next day to check what is missing. The security officer recovered some of the pipes.
18:43 WILLIAM MOFFAT. A school in William Moffat Expressway was burgled. Response reported that four classroom windows has been smashed. Care Taker advised that the surround sound systems are missing from the class room. There have been three sets stolen. SAP stood down and he opened a case.
19:56 GREENSHIELDS PARK. A residence in Ibis Road reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that the home owner fell the week before and injured his ribs. He was complaining about having chest pains. Gardmed stood down and transported him to hospital.
22:11 KRAGGA KAMMA. A business in Kragga Kamma Road reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that there was a lady who fell and bumped her head. Gardmed stood down and transported the lady to Hospital as she had a gash at the back of her head. Response was excused from site.

The business owner will do stock take to determine what is missing. He did not open a case as he could not see what was missing from site. Response was excused from site.
01:45 WALMER HEIGHTS. A residence in Sibelius Street had an attempted burglary. Response reported that no entry was gained and no loss was confirmed. Response assisted the owner in putting the aluminium strips back onto the window and the home owner locked up. Response was excused from site.
04:06 PROVIDENTIA. A residence in Hagen Villas was burgled. Response reported that the suspects kicked the door open and gained entry, they grabbed a laptop and ran away. SAP stood down and owner opened a case.
05:34 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road reported a trespassing incident. Response reported that there were suspects jumping the fence. The business owner was contacted to check internally with response .No SAP.

When response arrived there was no sign of a stove. There were also no visible signs of forced entry to the premises. Owner was notified and requested visibility. No SAP.

Response reported that they met with a house owner from across the street, suspects smashed a small window and tried to break the burglar bars but did not succeed. They also tried to enter the premises through the roof. No entry was gained. No loss, the owner did not require SAP.

02:37 BETHELSDORP. A business in Barberry Street reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that on the left hand side of the premises, the aircon had been stolen. No entry to the premises. The owner was notified and he confirmed he will sort it out the next day. will follow up with SAP.
02:50 WALMER. A business in Heugh Road had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the suspects removed the roof sheeting in the front but no entry was gained. Owner checked internally with SAP.
04:27 BEVERLEY GROVE. A residence in Benfleur Avenue reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that they checked in the area and could not find the suspect. Owner will not open a case with SAP.
10:15 MANGOLD PARK. A residence in Elaine Crescent was burgled. Response reported that the suspects bent the burglar bars as well as the bathroom window. No entry was gained from there. They entered the kitchen door and forced the security gate open. The keyholder confirmed there was an unknown amount of jewellery missing. SAP stood down and a case was opened.
12:15 WALMER DOWNS. A residence in Alan Drive had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the suspects smashed the lounge window and kicked the burglar bars broken. No entry was gained and no loss was incurred at that stage. The owner did not request SAP at this stage.
13:14 DESPATCH. A business in James Watt Street had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the suspects smashed the right hand side window but the burglar bars were still intact. No entry was gained and no loss. SAP stood down and owner did not open a case.
16:17 SIDWELL. A business in De Wet Street was burgled. Response reported that the home owners confirmed that the suspects entered the back. They confirmed no entry gained into the office but into the storeroom and the outside bathroom. At this stage, the owner is missing spray guns and tools amongst other things. SAP stood down.
17:29 KORSTEN. A business in Durban Road had an armed robbery. Response reported there was one male who entered the shop just before closing time. The suspect pointed a firearm at the security guard and demanded that the staff lay down. He fired one shot. SAP stood down and the owner opened a case.

00:25 BOOYSENS PARK. A business in Booysens Park Drive was burgled. Response reported that the suspects entered by cutting the locks of the front roller door and smashed the bottom window then entered the premises. The owner is missing a mini Hi-Fi. SAP stood down and owner will open a case.
01:54 SWARTKOPS. A business in Old Grahamstown Road was burgled. Response reported that four suspects jumped over the fence at the back. They forced the guardhouse open and one of the guards were tied up. They stole both cell-phones, the owner stood down but cannot say what is missing in the container. SAP stood down.
03:17 CENTRAL. A residence in Gordon Terrace was burgled. Response reported that the suspects forced the garage door open. They smashed the windows on the left hand side but no entry was gained. No loss reported at this stage.SAP stood down and owner opened a case.
08:45 WALMER DOWNS.A church in Speyers Road was burgled. Response reported that the suspect entered and broke the lock of the pedestrian gate at the back. They removed the window frame and the main bedroom was ransacked. The owner did not arrive. No SAP.
09:29 KAMMA PARK. A residence in Cromwell Street reported a house robbery. Response reported that they met with the home owners grandson, he confirmed that there were two males asking for water and when the client turned his back to the males, they overpowered him. The suspects tried to stab the grandson in the chest, they then tied him up and ransacked the house. The home owner locked herself in her bedroom and called the SAP. Suspects were arrested and response assisted the grandson with first aid. The home owner excused response from site.
09:34 GLENHURD. A residence in Fernglen Avenue had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the suspects forced the bedroom window open and bent the burglar bars. No entry gained and no loss. Owner will follow up with SAP.
10:47 CENTRAL. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that there was a customer who filled up with R50 worth of pertol. The customer went into the shop and then drove away without paying. Owner will follow up with SAP.
11:11 GLENHURD. A residence in Gillian Avenue was burgled. Response reported that the suspects kicked the front door open. The owner is missing a 42″ LG flat screen TV, The home owner stood by for SAP.
17:57 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that they met with the security guard on site and he confirmed that he just arrived on duty when three suspects robbed him with knives and took his cell phone, charger and back pack. 09:01 LINKSIDE. A residence in Birdlip Avenue reported an arrest that was made. Response reported that the suspect gained entry into the yard at the back over the fence. Suspects stole two braai grids and a chair. The suspect was caught in Cape Road Mcdonalds. Suspect was handed over to SAP. Owner opened a case.
09:48 FERNGLEN. A residence in Whitney Avenue was burgled. Response reported that the suspects forced the main bedroom window open and gained entry. Suspects stole jewellery. SAP stood down and owner will open a case.
11:58 SIDWELL. A business in Relton Road had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the suspect entered the window at the main house. The window was not forced but client could see on the wall by the window. No loss was reported at this stage. The owner is not opening a case with SAP.

00:14 CENTRAL. A business in Irvine Street reported an attempted theft incident. Response reported that two males were fighting and one wanted to steal money from a customer. SAP stood down and client opened a case.
02:46 WALMER. A business in Heugh Road had an attempted burglary response reported that the business owner checked the roof and the premises internally with response. Suspects were on the roof but no entry was gained and no loss. SAP stood down but a case was not opened.
08:15 WALMER. A business in Heugh Road was burgled. Response reported that the suspects gained entry through the roof and removed a safe from the wall, petty cash and alcohol. Suspects damaged the gambling machine with an axe. SAP did recover some of the alcohol, Business owner opened a case with SAP.
08:47 CENTRAL. A business in Park Drive was burgled. Response reported that the suspects broke one of the windows handles and gained entry. The business owner can see a 54” plasma TV and a laptop missing, he opened a case with SAP.
08:59 CENTRAL. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue was burgled. Response reported that the suspects smashed 2 windows by the old post office side. No entry was gained. Suspects pulled alcohol through the window. Business owner opened a case with SAP.
12:31 LORRAINE. A residence in Lyon Crescent had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the suspects opened the driveway gate and kicked the front door open. No entry gained. Home owner opened a case with SAP.
20:05 CENTRAL. A business in Ivy Street had an armed robbery. Response reported that the Business owner confirmed a white Hyundai stopped in front of the premises when 2 suspects got out and went into the shop. Suspects threatened the client and held him at gun point; they got away with an undisclosed amount of cash as well as an I-phone and 2 cell phones. Business owner did not open a case with SAP.

00:09 PERRIDGEVALE. A residence in Nile Road had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the owner saw a suspect fiddling with the back door and the suspect shone his torch into the kitchen. No entry was gained. SAP stood down and owner will not be opening a case.
02:01 PINE GROVE. A residence in Elsa Joubert Street reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that the home owner had a fit. On responses arrival the ambulance service was already busy assisting the patient. They then transported the patient to Hospital.

18 September 2016 Sunday
04:09 MIRIMAR. A business in Buffelsfontein Road reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that two males in a white Toyota Corolla filled up R580 worth of petrol. As the petrol attendant went to get the card machine the males drove off. SAP stood down and the manager on site opened a case.
05:15 NEWTON PARK. A business in Second Avenue was burgled. Response reported that the suspects made a hole in the roof but did not enter the premises they ripped off the roof passive and threw it on the ground. Business owner cannot see anything missing as the suspects did not enter the premises. SAP stood down and owner opened a case.
08:47 HOLLAND PARK. A residence in Larch Avenue reported a trespassing incident. Response reported that the suspect that was caught is 15 years old and upon searching him they found dagga in his bag. Suspect forced himself though the right hand side of the yard and that is when the neighbour caught him. Suspects took the garage sliding door off the rails and entered. The suspect took the grinder and upon leaving the neighbour caught him. SAP stood down and arrested the suspect and owner opened a case.
10:28 UITENHAGE. A business in Magennis Road was burgled. Response reported that they checked the CCTV footage with the owner. Two suspects cut the electric fence on the right hand side and entered the yard. Suspects went to the warehouse and bent the security gate and forced open the door and entered the premises. The business owner confirmed that nothing is missing at this stage. SAP stood down and no case was opened.
11:17 KORSTEN. A business in Kempston Road was burgled. Response reported that the suspects entered by the pedestrian gate and climbed onto the roof and made 8 holes. They entered and took 2 laptops and 1 computer box. The suspect found the safe keys and took an undisclosed amount of money form the safe. SAP stood down and the owner opened a case and will check in the morning what else is missing as there is still a lot missing.
18:42 CENTRAL. A business in Russle Road was burgled. Response reported that the suspects removed the back door panel and kicked the door in and went through the shop. The business owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. Suspects removed the mag from the back door. SAP stood down and owner will open a case.
19:44 THEESECOMBE. A business in Kragga Kamma Road had an attempted burglary. Response reported met with Mr Dave Panther on site.Suspects smashed the front window with a brick but burglar bars are still intact.No entry was gained.Client secured the window with cardboard and will repair the window in the morning.Client will not be opening a case with SAP.

00:55 WALMER. A business in Albert Road was burgled and arrests were made. Response reported that on their arrival they saw suspects on the roof and saw that there was a hole in the roof at the front left hand side section. One suspect fell through the roof into one of the offices. Response arrested the suspect. The business owner cannot see anything missing at this stage. SAP stood down and client opened a case.
01:39 NORTH END. A business in Paterson Road was burgled and arrests were made. Response reported that the suspects gained entry at the back of the yard were the railway line is. Suspects stacked freezers in the premises and started stripping the top freezer. Two suspects were caught by response. The business owner cannot see anything missing at this stage.SAP stood down and arrested the suspects and client opened a case.
02:05 DEAL PARTY. A business in Adolf Street was burgled. Response reported that the suspects jumped over the back wall with razor wire by the warehouse and smashed one window at the back and gained entry. The business owner can see a few cases of glasses missing at this stage. SAP stood down and client opened a case.
02:06 DEAL PARTY. A business in Burman Road was burgled. Response reported that the suspects climbed over the admin office roof to gain entry to the kitchen. Owner can see a microwave missing at this stage. The security officer confirmed while on patrol he saw two suspects, one on the roof and one on the ground by the entry door. Security guard confirmed that his cell-phone was stolen form the guardhouse.
02:10 NORTH END. A business in Govan Mbeki Avenue had an attempted burglary. Response reported that no access gained to the premises. The business owner will leave the gate as it is and sort it out in the morning. SAP on site but no case was opened. Response has been excused from site.
03:37 ST ALBANS. A residence in La Marseilles Road reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that they met with the Home owner who confirmed that he heard a really loud noise and ran outside to find a male lying in front of his house and according to the male; he was assaulted by 3 other males for his bakkie. Response confirmed the male who was assaulted was very drunk and his head and face was bleeding. The person who was assaulted still had his bakkie in the street with two flat tyres and the male refused help from SAP.

Response reported that the suspects entered the yard at the back of the premises and smashed the window on the left hand side and kicked in the burglar bars. Entry was then gained; the owner can see four computers missing. SAP stood down but no case was opened. The business owner will open a case on Monday after they have checked what else is missing.
17:16 SUMMERSTRAND. A school in Second Avenue was burgled. Response reported that the suspects forced open the garage door and entered. The owner can see a sink missing that was outside the garage. They will phone SAP on Monday to open a case after she has checked if there is anything else missing.
17:50 MOUNT PLEASANT. A business in Buffelsfontein Road reported an assault. Response reported that one of the customer attacked his wife. The female who was assaulted was bleeding but she did not request Gardmed. The business owner also doesn’t want SAP.
19:23 LORRAINE MANOR. A residence in Crozant Street was burgled. Response reported that the suspects went to the left hand side at the back of the ensuite window which was slightly open. Suspects opened the window and kicked in the burglar bars they used a ladder to get to the window. Home owner can see jewellery missing at this stage. They will open a case on Sunday or Monday.
19:24 SYDENHAM. A business in Uitenhage Road reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that a white Quantum threw diesel in to the value of R100 and paid with a fake R100 note. The vehicle drove off and there is no registration number. SAP stood down and the petrol attendant opened a case.
19:56 DEAL PARTY. A business in Darby Street was burgled. Response reported that the suspect made a hole in the fence and entered the complex and broke the lock by the yards gate. The suspect then went to the front entrance and broke the lock by the security gate and forced the gate open. They smashed the bottom glass of the double glass door and entered. Business owner cannot see anything missing at this stage and will do stock take on Monday. SAP stood down and owner opened a case.
20:09 SIDWELL. A business in Commercial Road reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that a maroon vehicle threw petrol in to the value of R150 and drove off without paying. SAP stood down and they will open a case.
20:51 DEAL PARTY. A business in Grahamstown Road was burgled. Response reported that the suspects entered from Hayward street side. They bent the burglar bars and smashed the middle window of the three windows in front and cut the burglar bars with a bolt cutter. Business owner can see a 32” CCTV monitor and printer missing. 22:19 SYDENHAM. A business in Stebonheath Road reported a vandalism incident. Response reported that there were vagrants on site throwing bottles at the shop. The vagrants are known to the client. SAP stood down and client opened a case for damage to the property.
22:34 MORNINGSIDE. A residence in Groendal Park was burgled and arrests were made. Response reported that the suspect gained entry by the garage door of a nearby residence in Groendal Park. When the owner noticed the suspects he closed the garage door with suspects inside. SAP stood down and took the suspects away and the owner opened a case.

03:21 THEESECOMBE. A residence in Kragga Kamma was burgled. Response reported that the suspects cracked the main bedroom window to open the latch. Client was sleeping in one of the other bedrooms with her children when they heard the noise. She texted her neighbour to contact Atlas. Suspects ransacked the house, client is missing jewellery and shoes. Owner opened a case with SAP.
05:49 NORTH END. A business in Harrower Road had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the owner checked the CCTV camera and saw that the suspect tried to smash the front cashier’s window using a rock but the window was bullet proof. No entry was gained. Response reported that the suspects broke into the owners vehicle, they smashed the back window of a White Bmw vehicle. Owner cannot confirm what is missing at this stage. Response reported that there were three males in their 20’s on site, they took the owners briefcase as he got out of his vehicle. 01:40 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admirality Way reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that the home owner fell on the side of the bath and knocked her face and cut her lip. Gardmed stood down and transported the patient to Hospital.
01:40 CENTRAL. A residence in Park Drive had an attempted burglary. Response reported that the suspects made a hole in the fence. No entry was gained. The home owner secured the fence with cable ties and did not want SAP.
03:50 CENTRAL. A business in Korsten Street reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that the suspects stole a battery from one of the trucks on site. No entry was gained into the main premises. Business owner will not open a case with SAP.

Response reported that two of the owner’s friends were sitting in their vehicle when they were approached by four Suspects. One suspect had a knife and slashed the tyre; the suspect then grabbed the lady’s handbag and ran away. Owner will follow up with SAP.

11:24 FAIRVIEW. A residence in Storax Street reported a hijacking incident. Response reported that the home owners neighbour arrived at her premises from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, when a blue hatch – back polo followed her to her premises. There were two armed males who robbed her of her bags, money and her car then drove off. SAP stood down and client opened a case.

16:26 NEWTON PARK. A residence in King Edward Street was burgled. Response reported that the suspects broke the masterlock from the wooden door and removed the burglar bars and entered. 00:28 GELVANDALE. A business in Stanford Road was burgled. Response reported that the suspects broke in through the roof and cut the cables in the roof. No loss reported at this stage. SAP stood down and a case was opened.
07:08 SUMMERSTRAND. A residence in Admirality Way reported a Medical Emergency. Response reported that the house owner was not feeling well the whole morning and requested to be transported to Hospital. Gardmed stood down and the patient was transported for further observation.
07:11 SYDENHAM. A business in Uitenhage Road reported a positive theft incident. Response reported that they met with the petrol attendant on site. There was a vehicle which drove off without paying for an undisclosed amount of petrol. Business owner was notified and will go to Mount Road police station to open a case.

23:10 KORSTEN. A business in Caseley Street was burgled. Response reported that the suspects entered through the welding roof. No loss was reported at the time, a case was opened with SAP.
