Incidents of theft have increased to a high of 11 reported incidents. Vehicles remain an easy target for criminals as residents are leaving valuables in their cars overnight. The trend seems to show that people who have their car parked behind a locked gate have a false sense of security, as criminals are gaining access to unprotected exterior areas of homes and smashing the windows of vehicles. Beams and CCTV solutions are crucial to the exterior protection of your home. Criminals are taking advantage of the lack of exterior security solutions.

The good news for the week is that burglaries have decreased by more than half of what was experienced last week. Residents are urged to not let their guard down as we try to capitalise on the lower figures. Stay vigilant and keep reporting any suspicious activity to our Control Room.
