Walmer / Mill Park Arrest

Monday evening turned into a scene of rapid response and commendable teamwork when one of our clients alerted us to a break-in at a neighbouring residence in 9th Avenue, Walmer. Our Dedicated Patrol Service vehicle was dispatched to the scene.

As our Walmer DPS vehicle made his way to the location provided, the two suspects responsible for the attempted theft made a hasty retreat into the nearby valley.

In a seamless display of communication and coordination, our Walmer DPS vehicle established contact with our Mill Park DPS vehicle. They shared a detailed description of the suspects, revealing their intended path through the valley towards Mill Park.

The Mill Park DPS vehicle wasted no time in springing into action. They combed the area and, encountered the two suspects on the stairs of Highbeech Street. The suspects, dressed exactly as described, were apprehended.

Our control room contacted the SAPS. A case was opened.

This incident serves as a shining example of what can be achieved through effective communication and collaboration. The officers on the ground exhibited extraordinary teamwork, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all those involved in this successful arrest.
