Atlas Security wins two 2026 PMR.africa Awards — Here's how

General

Atlas Security is one of Nelson Mandela Bay's most trusted security companies, and has cemented its standing through community-focused service and a genuine commitment to keeping people safe.

Atlas Security has won two 2026 PMR.africa Awards at the Eastern Cape Provincial Survey in Business Excellence: the Diamond Arrow Award for Companies and Institutions doing the most to fight crime, and the Golden Arrow Award for Best Security Company.

Winning both awards is notable, as PMR.africa recognition is earned, not given. The awards are based on independent research, with respondents across the province rating companies on their contribution to regional growth, leadership, and customer service. The Diamond Arrow is the highest rating a company can achieve, with the Golden Arrow following close behind.

Because these ratings come directly from the people of the Eastern Cape, they carry real weight. They reflect how the community experiences Atlas Security day to day, on the road, in the control room, and in the moments that matter most.

"These awards belong to our people and our community," said Craig Kerr, Managing Director of Atlas Security. "Every single day our teams show up, suit up, and stand up for Nelson Mandela Bay. To be recognised on this scale is humbling, and it is a direct reflection of the trust our clients place in us. We don't take that trust lightly, and we never will."

A focus on community

Atlas Security's identity has always been built around real people protecting real people. The company has served Nelson Mandela Bay for decades, growing alongside the community it protects rather than simply operating within it.

That approach shapes everything, from rapid armed response and around-the-clock control room monitoring to the relationships built with residents, businesses, and local partners. Safety is treated as something shared, not sold.

It is this consistency that respondents recognised. Fighting crime is not a campaign for Atlas Security. It is the standard the company holds itself to every day.

Continued commitment

This recognition is a milestone, not a finish line. Atlas Security will continue to invest in its people, its technology, and its community partnerships over the year ahead, refining its offering so that residents and businesses across Nelson Mandela Bay can feel genuinely secure.

To every team member who keeps the city safe, and to every client who places their trust in Atlas Security: this one is yours.
