General

Atlas Security’s advanced CCTV network continues to prove its effectiveness in keeping our city safe! Our state-of-the-art surveillance infrastructure has played a critical role in multiple successful operations, working hand in hand with the SAPS K9 Unit to combat crime.
An alert was triggered from our CCTV Pole in Upper Valley Road, South End when a vehicle linked to multiple crimes was detected. Our control centre immediately flagged the vehicle and tracked its movement as it passed key Atlas Security CCTV Poles, including Park Drive and our newly installed pole on 6th Avenue, Walmer. SAPS K9 swiftly responded, and the vehicle was successfully stopped on Heugh Road.
In another incident today, our control centre identified a vehicle passing our Water Road CCTV Pole, flagged for criminal activity linked to Cookhouse. The rapid response from authorities ensured the situation was monitored closely.
Our CCTV network also detected a vehicle on the N2 heading towards Nelson Mandela Bay, linked to a crime. SAPS K9 acted immediately, resulting in the arrest of two suspects. The vehicle, used in committing a crime, was impounded and towed.
