Eyes on Every Entry at Moffett Retail Park

Atlas Security has strengthened safety at Moffett Retail Park with the installation of a new dedicated CCTV pole, further expanding its investment into crime prevention infrastructure across Nelson Mandela Bay.
The newly installed pole is directly linked to Atlas Security’s expanded CCTV Control Room and is equipped with three License Plate Recognition cameras and three high- definition overview cameras. Any wanted or flagged vehicle entering the area is immediately detected, triggering real-time alerts to the Control Room where the necessary operational steps are actioned without delay.
While the primary focus is protecting the retail centre, the benefits extend well beyond the shopping precinct. The surrounding communities of Fairview and Overbaakens also gain increased visibility and monitoring, strengthening overall area safety through proactive surveillance.
This type of CCTV deployment is a powerful solution for shopping centres, malls and high-traffic commercial zones. The presence of visible, intelligent camera infrastructure acts as a strong deterrent to criminal activity, while also playing a critical role in crime prevention, suspect tracking, arrests and the identification of wanted vehicles.
The Moffett Retail Park installation forms part of Atlas Security’s ongoing commitment to building a safer Nelson Mandela Bay through continuous investment in advanced CCTV technology and intelligent monitoring systems.
