Stolen Vehicle Recovered in Bluewater Bay

A suspicious vehicle reported in Bluewater Bay led to the successful recovery of a vehicle linked to a theft case through the coordinated response of Atlas Security and SAPS.
A suspicious white vehicle parked outside a residence in Bluewater Bay was reported to Atlas Security after concerns were raised about the vehicle’s presence in the area.
The information was immediately forwarded to the Atlas Rapid Intervention Unit (RIU), with Bravo 20 responded to investigate.
During the search of the area, the vehicle was located near the N2 in Bluewater Bay. Upon further investigation, it was confirmed that the vehicle had been reported stolen and SAPS was immediately contacted.
Working together in collaboration with SAPS the vehicle was intercepted shortly thereafter. The driver was identified and the vehicle was secured on scene.
Further investigation revealed that the vehicle had been taken without the owner’s consent and that the number plates displayed on the vehicle were false plates taken from another vehicle.
SAPS members attended the scene and continued with the investigation, after which the vehicle was impounded and transported for safekeeping.
When vigilance meets rapid response, incidents like this can be resolved before further damage occurs.

Arrest: Stolen Vehicle Recovered

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Atlas Security Armed Response Officers played a key role in recovering a stolen vehicle and assisting with the arrest of a suspect wanted in connection with fraud and vehicle theft. Atlas Security’s Control Room received a phone call early hours of the morning regarding a white Mazda that had been stolen in South End the previous day. Our Armed response units and Atlas Security Armed Response Officer, Bravo 16 were notified to remain on alert for the vehicle.
