THEFT SUSPECT ARRESTED IN SUMMERSTRAND

Another successful arrest has been made in Summerstrand following a theft from a residential property on Tuesday night.
Atlas Security received the report at approximately 22:39 after suspects entered a property through a driveway gate that had been left on manual and removed clothing and other items from the washing line.
An Atlas Security Armed Response Officer was dispatched and, while patrolling the surrounding area, spotted a suspect carrying a black bag containing clothing and bedding.
The client was contacted and positively identified the recovered items as their property.
SAPS was called to the scene, a case was opened, and the suspect was taken into custody. All of the stolen items were successfully recovered.
