Arrest in Korsten: Teamwork in Action
Crime

When a call came through about three suspects busy stealing cables along the railway line behind a business in Korsten, Atlas Security’s network of vehicles mobilised immediately.
E04 was first on the scene and quickly blocked one escape route. The Rapid Intervention Unit (R02) and E03 entered from Neil Boss Street, closing in from the other side. Working together, they cornered the suspects and apprehended two. While securing them, E03 located the third suspect hiding in the tall grass nearby, along with the equipment used in the theft.
This coordinated response was only possible because Atlas Security has the largest fleet of armed response vehicles in Nelson Mandela Bay, always ready to surround, block, and stop suspects in their tracks.
SAPS stood down on site, arrested the suspects, and took them to Mount Road Police Station. Statements were provided by our arresting officers.
Another example of why Atlas Security leads the way in keeping our city safe.
